Great food and great service! The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The Japanese curry was one of the best we have had. Definitely recommend Kinoko!

The menu was limited with not much sushi but with the little food they had they made their food taste delicious I would certainly recommend this to others. My favourite dish would be the chicken karage rice bowl.

Great service but felt there weren't a lot of choices of dishes for fish and shellfish, but there are good veg and vegan options. Service was very good and food was good, but lack of variety is why only a 4.

There was a limited menu, and the sushi train didn’t have a variety of sushi rolls, however the sushi available really tasty and neatly presented. The sushi bowls were really good, I’d recommend ordering one.

Limited menu!
Sushi train just has some rolls and and salmon sushi only!
Donburi like a rock and cool! Moreover they don’t give me a spoon

Quality certainly wasn't indicative of the price. The team was however extremely helpful in particular Tevor (sorry if I spelt this wrong) who was very inviting, up for a chat and was great at giving recommendations not only to me but to other customers. During my visit to Kinoko I had some sushi off the train, edamame and the chicken katsu curry.
The sushi was nice and fresh the portions were a little small and being $6.50 for three small salmon rolls was an eye opener. The first thing that came out was actually the curry which I was quite surprised at since edamame is usually considered an entree and the fact I it waited a few minutes was unusual. It was my first time seeing the curry sauce being seperated from the chicken and rice probably because of the salad which came with it. The salad was fresh, sauce was good with plenty of carrot and potato but the chicken sorely lacked. The chicken was far too crumbed and with the fat present I could only taste the crumbs. Garlic soy edamame, thought I'd give it a shot since it was recommended. Not a personal fan but still enjoyed it, if you prefer more of a bar snack and love your beer definitely have the salt but if you're a bit more saucy and don't hate garlic definitely good to give it a shot.
With everything I've said I'd still only give this place a 3 star. The staff were really welcoming and the atmosphere was agreeable however based on the food I was quite disappointed.

Excellent! We ordered the vegetable donburi and the sashimi donburi. The dishes had so much flavor, we were served quickly and the waitress were nice and smiling.
I truely recommend it!

We recently visited Kinoko and found the team were quite friendly and helpful.
The food, whilst good, in my opinion was slightly overpriced 10-20% (compared to Sydney standards) and had a much smaller range, 50% than other train type venues I have visited in the past.
In my experience, a quiet and simple sushi train venue that was good.
