Fig Tree restaurant was a real treat. We felt safe in the spacious open environment. The gardens at sunset were magnificent to walk through. The food was delicious, and sufficient. The staff delightful. If you can get a booking, which is not so easy, it is highly recommended.

We love creating stunning wedding and event florals at Fig Tree. The beautifully framed view of Byron Bay for wedding ceremony's is incredible and the venue is well set up for everything you could need for your special day.

Absolutely beautiful and tasty menu so much food . It's also BYO a bonus and the staff are lovely. They change their menu regularly as well.

We have had the pleasure of enjoying the absolutely mind blowing Fig Tree "at home" hampers. So thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the quality of the produce. The flavours and menu exceeded our expectations everytime (we have loved it so much we had it a few weekends in row!) Hand written notes, thoughtfully prepared containers and beautifully designed delivery hampers made us appreciate the exceptional Fig Tree restaurant all over again. Thank you Ché and team for creating an AMAZING at home degustation experience!

Very disappointed with the service. I booked at the end of 2019 to get married here in January 2021, in May 2020 when it was clear that COVID-19 was going nowhere, we postponed to November 2021 instead. In July when the NSW cases started blowing up my fiance and myself made the tough decision to cancel the wedding. Us and nearly all our guests live in Victoria so we were concerned about lockdowns, restrictions and border closures. We did not want to ask our guests to pay for flights and accommodation just for it to be cancelled the week before, further, I was not willing to put my mother at risk who has a compromised immune system thanks to chemotherapy. Fig Tree Restaurant kept our $3000 deposit- completely understandable as it was an agreed non refundable deposit- but they also kept the further $7237 we had paid only a month earlier, and then had the gumption to first try and guilt trip us into merely postponing, before saying that because of the situation they wouldn't make us pay them any further money. There was very little compassion or sympathy, and they have now benefited over $10,000 from us for a wedding that very likely would not have been allowed to go ahead.

Fig Tree is a must if you're in the Northern Rivers. You'll be impressed by the quality of the local produce, exceptional venue and attention to detail. The current Fig Tree at Home is an amazing opportunity to enjoy a stunning dining experience in the comfort of your own home. Hats off to Ché and the team for creating an amazing at home degustation experience!

We absolutely fell in love with the Fig Tree at first sight and knew this had to be our wedding venue. After meeting Che and the rest of the team, we were even more sure that this was the perfect place for our special day. Our wedding day and night was absolutely amazing, we were all so well looked after and the food was also incredible. We feel so lucky to have so many beautiful memories from the Fig Tree.
