Review Hog's Breath Cafe - Caboolture

From the first mouthful to the last tonight's steak was amazing. The whole meal was fresh,tasty, cooked just right our table had the steak & garlic prawns. The cheesy garlic bread was awesome. This was by far the best meal I've had at a hogs, I've been to many restaurants, the service was great, drinks came quick, Keep up the great work..would love to know when the hogs cards are in

Waited over an hour (after a pre dinner apology that it would be 30 minutes) for 2 x medium rare Prime Rib steaks. They arrived at the table well done and thin (looked like they had been left under lights). We decided that we weren't prepared to eat nor pay for such poor quality food.

Our server for the night was Cat and she was so lovely! I’ve never come across a restaurant employee who was so bubbly and kind to not just us but every other customer she helped throughout the night. She made our whole experience at hogs breath the best one yet 😁 the food was just as amazing.

Want food that tastes like charcoal and takes 50+ minutes to come to your table, to find that it’s not even warm and has probably been sitting on the counter for most of that time? Well this is definitely the place for you. Oh, but it isn’t just the food that takes 50+ minutes, your drinks do too, even if they are just two glasses of coke. I wish I could say it was because it was extremely busy, but you won’t believe, we watched so many people leave and others wait the same time if not longer for their food. Safe to say we definitely won’t be back.

Ordered the steak with mushroom. The steak was tough and super dry. When asked by the waitress Melanie if evertyhing is good with the food, despite providing her the feedback, all she said was maybe the steak was from a bad batch. No effort to offer if she could replace it despite seeing the plate barely being touched. Poor service and dining experience overall.

OUT OF SLOW COOKED STEAKS AGAIN. This is the 3rd time within 3 weeks they have been out of steak. This was my once a week hogs dinner. I was a regular customer. As of now I'm not coming back and the management should be ashamed of themselves. It's a pity, this was one of the best hogs.

Absolutely horrible food and horrible service. 1 hour waiting for 2 meals and 2 kids meals. The people that arrived after us got fed before us. Ribs were chewy, steak was absolutely tasteless and more like chewy roast meat. Salad that looked like 7 days old. $120 for food that tasted like it should’ve been free. Didn’t want to cause a fuss to the very young staff that were there. Absolutely horrid. Used to come here often thought we would visit again but never again.. horrid food.

Always a good restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Though the prices have moved dramatically up, since covid came about. Thankyou to the staff for their rendition of happy birthday and the server guy's dance lol.

Prime Rib Fillet that was over cooked and dry, Ceaser Salad that had no dressing on it and lettuce that was brown. Chicken Parmigiana that had no sauce on it and dry as not to mention had a hair in it. Very poor customer service waiting for ages just to order a drink never asked as if we liked our meal or anything. Had not even finished our meal properly before staff were already leaving putting chairs on tables and kitchen closed so were never asked if we wanted dessert. Very disappointed family members as it was supposed to be a birthday dinner and there was not much to really celebrate by the end of the meal.

Very disappointing meal. Hubby had the lobster & steak. Very small potion and his steak was well over cooked. Read the small print as it is not covered by your Hog Squad card discount. Salad consisted of oily coleslaw and one cherry tomato cut in half. My steak and ribs was OK but we felt ripped off by the whole meal.

I have always loved Hogs Breath Cafe as one of my favourite places to eat, great food, awesome cocktails and friendly and efficient staff, tonight they let me down � waited 20 minutes for someone to take my drink order... asked for a cocktail that was advertised at the bar... sorry we don’t have all the ingredients, tried another cocktail which was nice.....it’d better be for $15! Then waited a further 45 mins for our “waitress” to come back and take our order... after watching her take everyone’s order around us even people she had just seated... finally we had enough and had to leave

Love love love the food at this Hog’s breath and love the service as well! We had Sheree as our waiter and she was very lovely and informative about the menu �

My partner and I dined at Hoggies and experienced excellent service with an equally excellent culinary experience. We were warmly greeted at the door and were sat at a very cozy table. We were then greeted by Issy, who provided an absolutely flawless experience by; providing us with plenty of drinks, possessing a great knowledge of the menu, ensured that our table and plates was always clear and out of the way, and most importantly, ensured that we felt an individual experience that would rival any grandmother’s homely experience of great food and hosting. The food also depicted exceptional skill and care, as our two burgers consisted of fresh salad, crunchy bread rolls and juicy chicken and the mud cake was to die for. Ultimately our experience at Hogs Breath Morayfield will definitely have us coming back for more, especially when receiving first class service by Issy.

We booked early for 14 people for a Birthday we usually love Hoggies but the food was over cooked we waited a long time for all meals to come out had to go to the bar to get drinks apart from the initial order. It was really hot and we were on an outside table and the chairs were crammed in so tight you could barely move. I have never been disappointed before but the food and service was average at best and it wasn't overly busy

All ways a great meal at Hogs Breath.. Good friendly service At a reasonable price. Been there 2 times in past 2 months and great experience both times...

We arrived around 7:30 and did not get our meals till around 8:30, this was after I had to ask Where they were. The meals received were very poor and lacking in the quality I was expecting from Hogs. I had the Cheeseburger, the bun was stale, the patties dry and over all, lacking in flavour. The curly fries looked like they had been scrapped from the bottom of the bag, resembling crumbly bits then actual fries, like the left overs at the bottom of a McDonalds bag. My partners meal that consisted of Whiting Fillets seemed drenched in oil and not very well cooked. The "salad" was also limp and lacking flavour. I would not usually post such a bad review, but this had to be done on this occasion. I wanted to have a nice night out with my partner, so I did not complain in the moment. I am making sure my voice is still heard on this one.

Not happy with the place at all. The table we were sat at was sticky and the floors around it was sticky. But that wasnt the worst of it, we were in an almost empty restaurant and we were sat right beside another group of people and then 5 minutes later a couple with a young baby were sat right beside us. Why the few customers they had, had to be crammed ontop of each other was beyond me. So filthy restaurant and customers crammed into one spot it is clear customer comfort is low priority there.

I was dissapointed by the staff Tuesday night. They didn't introduce themselves left the menus and dissappeared. We had to ask a random waitress to take a drink order. We had to ask another to take the food order. I had to ask twice for a takehome container. The food was excellent.

really enjoyed my meal tonight and had the best service from Renae! will definitely be back
