Review Sizzler - Caboolture

Melody Napper
So sad to see this iconic restaurant close. A lesson to us all - if you don't use it you will lose it! A sign that we all need to get out and support each other more. Thank you to all the staff over the years for the wonderful memories we have of dinning at your restaurants, I wish you all every success for whatever comes next for you.

An end of an era the last Sizzler left ever. We order the shrimp fry and two salad bars. Due to covid, all meals were delivered to our table. All staff was very friendly and we're more than accommodation to some of our weird food requests. All food was delicious. Cheese bread and potato wedge so good. You will be missed. Thanks for the memories. Wonderful lunch date.

Lovely sizzler, great dessert/salad bar. HUGE variety of food to choose from in the salad bar and a very filling dessert bar. TBH you don’t even need a meal, just access to the salad bar. Nice interior, would definitely come here again. It’s great to see more and more of the USA’s best restaurants coming to Australia, especially in the great state of QLD.

Sad to see a childhood favourite close! Went in for one last cheesy bread and potato skins. The whole COVID situation makes the experience very different but staff were very nice.

Yummo. Great food, good staff, reasobable prices. Good Christmas promo leaflet. Beautiful Deserts. Garlic Prawn $5.95 special was delicious. Seafood salad, green salads, nachos, jacket potato all very fresh. I will go again.

Regular Sizzler fare. The fried calamari was pretty rubbery and the vanilla ice cream machine was having issues. Wish I had only ordered the salad bar

The staff were very friendly and hospitable, it was different not being able to get my own food from the salad bar but I thought it was alot better, booking ahead is essential due to co-vid 19 at the moment.

Always a fan of the food they have, only downfall is it can get super busy and occasionally you could end up having to wait for a table, not much staff can do about this as they were trying their best to rearrange to suit everyone etc, the potato bake can be a bit bland but other than that always lovely food, fresh salad and fruit etc

I was very pleasantly surprised! Nothing at all like my memory of sizzler as a kid. Venue is nice and modern and salad bar was large. $27 for all you can eat at the salad bar there was 2 kinds of pasta dishes, no complaints at all. Good pumpkin soup and a huge selection of hot and cold salads. The complimentary cheesey toast was far tastier than I remember. Sticky date was great, mousse was a bit bland. Only issue was the taco station, the guacamole was the same colour as the sour cream which was a shame and no salsa/sauce and a lack of vego option (mince only). The steak a friend ordered was overly tough and quite expensive, it was sent back for a new better one and we were given a gift voucher for next time which was really great service. We left very full and satisfied. Cheap wine too!

The food was honestly inedible, i'm not sure my dog would have eaten it. In fact I can safely assume that he wouldn't have. I ordered a main which seemed to look ok on the menu and came out looking like a sat-on and demon cursed version of the photograph.
We came to Sizzler for our little boys 6th birthday because he loved the idea of getting his own food and I remembered it being awesome when I was a kid. No wonder only a handful of Sizzler's still exist.
What were we thinking?

Julie Hill Office Manager Caboolture Community Care Inc. On Friday the 12th December 2014, 26 staff and volunteers attended Sizzlers for the Christmas Break up lunch. We found the food very un interesting very limited and the pasta was never full and cold. The salad bowls were always empty and we spent most of our lunch trying to find something to eat, We were not given any for the Sizzler toast on arrival and had to ask for some, we were then given 3 pieces. for 26 of us. The service was very slow and dirty plates were left all the time. I paid the account in full by cheque. $543.40 for the Salad bar and Drinks bar. Even the sweets were terrible. There was no choice for people with food allergies. The drinks were ok but if you had a lactose intolerance there was no hot drink unless it was black. We will not be having our break ups or functions at Sizzlers again. Very Disappointed. I have asked each person that attended and had the same reply. They were very disappointed in the food. We did ring 3 weeks before and then again on the Thursday before to inform them on numbers.

Meals were cold and bland. Took over 45min to come out! Salad bar was average.
One item we ordered had to be changed as they had run out.
Staff were very vague & not helpful. We requested another serve of cheese bread which never came.
A table of aprox 25ppl left as we arrived, this had still not been cleared off over an hour later when we vacated!

Worst service ever. Went to sizzler on saturday night15/10/11 waited 50 mins for a meal when i complained they sent a verry young waiter we felt sorry for him obviously the manager hid This is the third time(and last time)that they have stuffed us around Weare vting with our feet and wony go back

Bobcat Fraser. Have been to Sizzler Caboolture 4 times and every time our order is stuffed up, whether is is lunch or dinner.
Tonight is the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak.
$24.95 for a Malibu Chicken, and the size of the chicken was so small it looked like a pidgeon. The cheesie bread arrived at the table after we had finished the main meal and had eaten desert.
There was a group of younger people in the corner mostly all females and two males, who were extremely loud, and were very disruptive of a normally peaceful dinning setting and the staff did nothing about it.
If we wanted this type of atmosphere we would have gone to a pub. As for the prices, they are way too high and the quality and quantity of the food has dropped dramatically.
So lets not stop here, the toilets were filthy, and overall, just wanted to get out of there. Even the staff were not friendly, or welcoming, It was like they didn't want to be there, A Nightmare, I don't think we will never go into another Sizzler again. Definately not Caboolture, Queensland.

Sizzlers in caboolture. Worst meal ever . Third time in a row. Meals been mixed up with different customers . Still wrong order , . cheese bread served after dessert was finished .At salad and soup bar 3 dishes were full , all the rest empty , not one serve could been served with what was left in the dish. Steak which been ordered as rare was given to me completely overcooked , shrunk and rock hard , Staff looked liked , that they didnd want to be there at all . Not friendly at all. The price you pay there is totally thrown out of the window , What i got served tonight was not even$10 worse and we got charged over $82 , ha ha what a joke .
