It kind of feels like another Vietnamese restaurant with your pho, noodle and rice dishes but I can recommend trying goat here if you've never tried goat before.
It comes with lemongrass and galangal, a great combination that makes eating this different kind of meat a familiar experience! I also enjoy the bun cha (vermicelli with grilled pork).
It's a restaurant I'm happy to visit from time to time as it's bit of an all rounder.
There was no wait. Workers where quick and supportive, we ordered our meal and it didn’t take long to come out. Our meal was delicious and filling and they also gave us free orange slices as dessert after finishing our meal. Was very pleasing.
It is your typical Vietnamese restaurant, however their meals have never disappointed me.
They have really friendly workers who greet you with smiles every single time. It really makes the experience much more lovely.
They have a variety of Vietnamese dishes to choose from, ranging from rice, noodles, pho to congee. They also have special meals of certain days eg, pho on Tuesdays are cheaper.
Overall, great place if you feel like having Vietnamese foods.
Very similar to the Canley Heights store, this restaurant offers great pho at a cheap price. The spring rolls are also a must try! They are deliciously fluffy and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.
Friendly service, food came out really fast. We ordered Chrissy skin chicken and dry noodles. It was delicious to say the least. This place serve up authentic Viet food at a very good price.
Authentic great Vietnamese food. Usually packed around lunch and dinner time. Great variety of appetisers and mains, their juices are freshly squeezed and the shakes are really good! My favourite is the durian avo shake.
I like that I could substitute any rice dish for tomato rice. I wanted the crispy chicken dish but they were in between lunch and dinner and told me it would take a long time to prepare, I appreciate the good communication and opted for a pork chop dish which was excellent.
The space is good for large families, as well as smaller groups and couples. The prices are very reasonable with different specials every day.
It wouldn't be right to visit Cabra and not sample some Pho, popping in to Huong xua, who serve a Northern Vietnam style pho. With a hearty full flavoured broth, not as delicate and sweet as the Southern style, but damn delicious and cheap too.
Huong Xua is a Vietnamese restaurant that serves multiple Vietnamese dishes. There is a wide variety of foods to choose from. It is suitable for casual dining and it is affordable. The food tastes lovely and the wait for food is not too long. It is usually a bit packed but overall it is a good restaurant if you want some Vietnamese cuisine.
Prices are reasonably cheap, service is great and fast, place is nice looking but could be cleaner. But overall, love coming here every time.
The best chicken pho I've had. I only come to huong xua for chicken pho and nothing else. The chicken here is so fresh, broth is so sweet and perfect. I like to grab myself the innards because I was raised to eat everything and anything - but you can choose just the chicken option if you're not into eating organs
Their fried spring rolls are to die for!
Combination Crispy Egg Noodles is one of my favourite, as well as their phó.
My Mom and I loves this restaurant, can't go wrong with any dish.
Came in for dinner around 5pm the place was rather busy despite of the early hour. From the look of menu pho is their specialty but I was in a mood for something more refreshing and lite. Ordered Vietnamese rice paper roll with prawns and seafood salad. The rice paper had generous amount of prawns and they were fresh. The salad was great nice crunch texture of vegetables went beautifully with well prepared prawns and calamarie pieces. Dressing was slightly sweet but the mints leaves balanced the flavour well. Fast and friendly service. I will return to try their pho next time!
Huong Xua’s point of difference is the more subtle flavours that are found in the north; northern Vietnamese dishes take up the first page of the menu, including bun oc, bun gia chay nuoc.
Northern viet food which is hugely different from sourthern vietnam food. Northern style is light, fragent and aromatic. Southern has more intense and bold flavours. Try both and see the difference ..... Im sourthern so im basis i like my good with bold flavours.
Being raised in a Vietnamese household, eating Pho was the part of our lives and over time I grew to have no cravings for it. In fact, I much prefer the stronger flavours of a Bun Bo Hue. But alas... I keep getting faced with eating the bowl of Pho every now and then because my wife loves it...
We stumbled onto this joint...more-so from my read ins online about its Pho eating challenge in which I was interested in overseeing and possibly participating despite knowing I can't down 1/2 kg of noodles 1/2 kg of meat and 1.5 Lts of soup in a measly 11 minutes.
So instead I ordered their Pho Dac Biet... where Dac Biet implies it's special so they chuck in extra chunks of meat. The bowl was quite massive and the price was only $9.50.
I've actually eaten here before and had to come back to do a review because I felt the broth was done very well here. Enough so to deserve some form of a mention and not only a Instagram photo...
This time we even tried their spring rolls. It's done with a different wrap and it's stuffed with so much meaty goodness. It's also deep fried so expect it to be crispy and oily. The sauce they paired it with was too weak for my tastebuds and wasn't enough to help compliment the spring roll... but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Despite having free tea there... my wife still enjoys pairing it with some form of fruit shake... this time she chose an avocado and durian shake. I took a few sips of it and it was smooth and you can actually taste the essence of both ingredients. Was a nice touch to finish off such a heavy meal...
The seem to have many specials running through the week on weekdays... so there's almost no excuse to not give it a go...

Enter Huong Xua, a purveyor of northern Vietnamese cuisine. Through the sliding doors, we are greeted by aromas of Jasmine tea, grilled meats, and the unmistaken faint scent of nước chấm (fish dipping sauce). The décor is modern yet nostalgic, artworks of rural Vietnam adorn the wooden backdrop, while posters of Vietnamese concerts decorate the opposite wall, mediated by red paper lanterns hanging off the ceiling. Melancholic music completes the experience as the singer reminds us of the country’s painful struggle. It’s balmy, like the streets of Hanoi in the evening, making it the perfect weather to order
Yummmmmm. Excellent Vietnamese restaurant! We were drawn to it by the clean decor and bright lights, and we were not disappointed! We ordered the pork and prawn rice paper rolls, beef stir-fry pho and beef vermicelli noodles - everything came out quickly and was so so delicious! Smashed everything!
You are already spoilt for choice for Vietnamese fare anywhere in Cabramatta, but it’s even harder to get it wrong with this restaurant!
Our recent dinner here proved to me it’s still one of the most reliable ones in the area, serving authentic and delicious versions of my favourite Vietnamese dishes in a clean and cozy setting. Give it a try!
Discovered this place while looking for somewhere to eat in John street. Welcoming staff. Great service and the food was great!!
Very delicious! That’s why always full of patrons while other Vietnamese restaurants are not.
Walk along John Street at Cabra and we are either delighted or confused on what to eat, where to go?🤷♂️ I was both! So we chose this place because the menu is not ‘typical’ Vietnamese menu we usually find at Chinatown or inside Westfield’s food court. Even the table tea tasted fine and smooth😏I mean I am all ready for taste adventure when I read something like “Eel noodle soup” or “spicy noodle with 🐌 snails”. One of the staff patiently advised us on the ‘top dishes’ and later on show us how to mixed the dip-sauces and they are deliciousness incarnate. All that with full house of customers waiting to be served. Thank you very much for looking after us. We will definitely go back.
We went on Saturday to eat pho and egg noodle with crispy chicken. We able to have one empty table for the 4 of us. It was a full house. It look like everyone enjoy their food.
Our pho taste good. And the egg noodle with crispy chicken is superb
Service very quick and friendly.
It was very busy Easter Sunday here in Cabramatta, all shops doing a great businesses and the weather helps it make a great day overall.
