The pho was really good, they made it with care. The broth was the star of the show, hence made the experience better. Unfortunately the owner was a bit rude and can be intimidating.
One of my fave pho places!! Broth is true and authentic and pho comes with all the correct meat cuts!! For a super cheap price you cant go wrong! I love that its no frills - dont expect amazing service from the staff - follow @hungrymons on IG for more reviews!!!
I've always eaten here since I was a kid and it's the only shop I eat pho from in cabra and it's great, the shop is small but the food is quality
This is one of the cheapest Pho restaurants in Cabramatta (and probably in Sydney), with the Special Bowl only costing $12, with the Rare Beef costing only $10. The pho here is great value for money. They usually serve you very quickly and the owners is very friendly. The broth here is a little bit distinct from other Pho restaurants in the area in that it has a sweeter taste to it. Other than that, it's a great pho for the morning, afternoon or evening food!.
Probably one of the best pho places in Cabramatta! Their prices are affordable, they offer a limited range of options to choose from and have limited seating. But their pho is tops! Their broth is full of flavours from the meat! And their portions are just right. Service is fairly quick and their workers are friendly!
My childhood pho place. Would always order pho dac biet, no beansprouts, no onions. IT was the bomb. Drizzle half the hoi sin sauce in the bowl, and a bit of chilli sauce. It would hit the spot everytime i come here on the weekends.
Everyone in Cabramatta grew up knowing about this place. One of my favourites to come here if there is parking nearby. Pho Tai. THe place has not changed still the same as before
This place have one of best Pho in Sydney. Small restaurant in Cabramatta but most of the time busy. You also can order other food. This place close for few time a year so staff could enjoy holiday. So better plan for other option if they not open
My favourite pho shop in this country. The only problem is the quantity. Always felt missing a bit to reach top satisfaction. Menu is small but there is really only 1 item worth going for every time.
Yum! One of the best places to get pho. It's a small restaurant and it's nothing too fancy but the pho is delicious! The food comes out fast every time! Don't expect too much from the service but that's how most places are around Cabramatta.
Over 3 decades and still going strong, same owners. The owners have opted to stay at their 10 table location under the Cabra gate, going for longevity rather than a quick buck. It's pho, pho, pho in different combos. The broth is sweet and you get to chose fresh or lightly blanched sprouts. It's a great bowl, it's just easy to miss this place amongst the General Cabra buzz.
Simple and very fast. $10 for a yummy huge bowl of Pho. It can be crowded but they make room. It's not the best in the world but it's filling, cheap and cheerful :)
One of the few pho in Cabramatta I go to on a regular basis, Pho54 broth has an intense meat flavour, their soup is darker than most but it very flavourful.I usually order brisket and raw beef (Pho tai nam) their soup isn't sweet as others but it packs a punch on meaty flavours. They do add a little of MSG but as an Asian I cant tell or feel it!
Thin rice noodles in a beef stock with sliced eye fillet. The noodles are super silky but not 'soggy'. I also love how the beef are still pinkish when the noodles arrive. You push the slices of beef under the noodles for it to cook and its nice and tender. Also really like how the broth is clear and uncloudy. The onion slices, basil and spring onion make the broth even more aromatic, making each spoonful even more enjoyable.
A satisfying and cheap meal. Everything is pretty much $10 or under. Don't expect great service here, you're only here for the food.
It's not Studio 54, but Pho 54 is as hip and almost as retro. It's been around for at least 20 years and it has been continuously popular aided by a very loyal fan base that promote the restaurant through word of mouth. Pho 54 gets its name in the usual V

+4.5
...let me share with you my current most favourite restaurant for pho (Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup): Pho 54. I almost never stop craving a good bowl of pho . Only just slightly larger than a standard family living room, Pho 54 is a quaint restaurant that has been serving Saigon-style pho for decades to a loyal following. The old school menu (or lack of: there is just one billboard style menu on
It's small and its old but its been around for ages since I could remember and hands down has the best pho in Cabramatta. Their name says it all, specializing in pho with the usual variety of chicken, beef, combination pho, you name it. If this place has survived all these years against an increasingly modernizing and competitive vietnamese restuarant scene, it definately has something special. Pho is satisfying, service is quick and it can't get any cheaper. 10 dollars and you get yourself a nice warm big bowl of pho!
Pho-tastic!. Has to be the best pho in Sydney. Cheap, delicious and crazy fast. About as authentic as you can get outside of Vietnam!
Best Pho in town!. Pho 54 isn't the most aesthetically pleasing to the eye restaurant but boy, they do know how to make a fabulous Pho! The Pho at Pho 54 has undoubtedly the perfect balance of flavours. Not too sweet and not too oily, the broth is smooth and flavoursome.
The servings are generous and the quality consistent. The food is hard to fault except that they do not offer Chicken Pho. They do however, offer a wide variety of Beef Pho including:
- Dac Biet: sliced eye fillet, flank, tendon, brisket & tripe ($9.50)
- Tai: sliced eye fillet ($8.50)
- Tai Nam: sliced eye fillet with flank ($8.50)
- Tai Nam Gau: sliced eye fillet, flank & brisket ($8.50)
- Tai Nam Sach: sliced eye fillet, flank & tripe ($8.50)
- Tai Nam Gan: sliced eye fillet, flank & tendon ($8.50)
- Tai Gan Sach: sliced eye fillet, tendon & tripe ($8.50)
- Tai Bo View: sliced eye fillet & beef balls ($8.50)
Fabulous Pho and very popular with the local Vietnamese community. Always busy which is a great sign, even out of meal hours! Definitely worth the long drive to Cabramatta for the best Pho in town!
Good service great pho restaurant is nothing flash but the food is excellent and fresh
A great place to eat Vietnamese food in Cabramatta. We had the beef pho and the pork and rice. Beef pho was tasty and we enjoyed it, the rice and pork was also fabulous. I wish I could read the menu so I could try more delicious food here. Will be back for sure.
One of the best pho’s in Cabramatta, if not the best.
The only pho place that I go to where I have the bowl of pho in its' entirety. Also the only pho place that I have visited days in a row. The waitress even knows my order.
Not your usual pho joint but consistently delivers on flavour and seems healthy enough without all the oil floating on top of the soup.
I'm a regular here ever since my childhood and this is one of my favourite restaurants ever! I've tried many Pho restaurants in Cabramatta and I would say, this is my favourite Pho restaurant. Soup was tasty and the noodles were a nice size instead of the lanky noodles I usually get with other Pho restaurants. Com Dac Biet was really good as well, the pork was a nice size to compliment the other condiments instead of the HUGE and seemingly out of place pork that I get with other restaurants. Com Dac Biet is supperr under rated. The food comes out super fast and the service is really friendly as well. Although, the restaurant may look very old, don't let that fool you for not experiencing the food.
This has to be the best Pho place I've ever been to. Second only to mum's authentic home made pho which takes a whole day to prepare
Nice place to try Vietnamese pho
Great beef stock! Rich, flavourful yet also elegant.
Most importantly, it’s not too sweet!
Viet friends used to tell me that Pho stock should be only a hint of sweetness, however most places in sydney has been putting the sweetness boundaries too far.
This place is my favourite spot for Pho now!
Second pho place I’ve ticked off my list in Cabra. Tbh Vietnamese town has disappointed me, many around the city area have better pho. Broth is good but the meat is lack of some flavour and the noodles are not good enough for me. However they have super quick and good service.
