Mr Soy Boy - Cairns - Photo album

I was initially put off the name soy boy, was a mental thing on my part. I'm so glad I didn't judge a restaurant by it's name and not give them a go. One word for the food: exquisite One word for portions: generous One word for presentation: gorgeous Three words to seal the deal: value for mone
We are a couple living in Brisbane (originally from China). We had to admit that Mr soy boy is the best restaurant we’ve tried in Cairns. Authentic Asian cuisines and excellent customer service! A must-try if you are looking for something different and tasty. We just figured out the reason why we sh
We paid $110 for a family platter. It consisted of a smallish bowl of steamed rice, smallish bowl of garlic vegetables and a plate of 3 different meats. The rice had warm and cold patches, the red pork was luke warm and we all left feeling hungry. I won"t be eating here again.
Absolutely bloody marvelous. The food is as authentic as eating in Asia. Casual ambiance, homely service and the pricing fair for the quality and attention to detail. This is a place that Chefs will choose to eat at. Food excellence!!
The food here never fails to satisfy. Fantastic menu offering a wonderful vegan selection to compliment the normal menu. It’s a taste sensation and I come back again and again. The Szechuan potatoes and vegan Singaporean noodles are a flavour sensation. Just get here, one taste and you’ll be hooked!
Just right - Food is great and very tasty. I had the special $15 steak and stir fry and Phoebe had Duck. We’ll be back with friends ! Met the Chef and owner Ferdi - very nice guy who loves his food. I do too !
Best vegan meal I've had in quite a while! And best meal I've had in Cairns. You can really taste the different levels in the food which shows that they do put some thought into cooking. Decent proportion too. Beautifully done! Absolutely recommend it whether you are vegan or not. Next to Earlville
Just had a chicken stirfry and small rice (meal for one) which cost more than $28. The stirfry i chose was one of the cheapest meals on the menu. Was ok (nothing special) but the prices are insane. I was originally planning to get a noodle soup but couldnt bring myself to cough up 24 bucks. Definite
