I am currently enjoying a delicious pasta dish here - paired with a great house Shiraz ($25 pasta + wine special) and garlic bread. Friendly staff, great service and a little quieter as it's just off the Esplanade. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be coming back when we're next in Cairns! :-)

Place was very busy on a public holiday morning, but there are always bar / bench seats available.

The Cesar salad, the pancakes and the burger are so yummy! 100% recommended. The long island by the Peruvian guy are the best!!! 🙏🏼✨ the portions of the food and the quality worth the price. we’ll be back for sure.

Eggs Benedict with ham. Omg 5yrs since being in cairns and it is still the best place for breakfast. Amazing coffee too. I was just a bit too early for a breakfast beer. Seriously delicious breakfast. Thank you very much. Highly recommended. Will return when back in cairns.

During our trip to Cairns we ate here twice (despite many many dining options). The service was great, fast, and the food delicious. Wonderful sitting outside but sheltered from sun and rain. Good options for adults and children. Something else small but fabulous, really solid tables and chairs. It is nice to sit at a table that doesn't feel like it might collapse at any moment (or the kids push it over). And yes, the chairs are really comfortable despite being solid metal.

Had the Hawaiian pizza and kids fish and chips. Both were perfect and came quite quickly. Nice al fresco dinning experience which is perfect for Cairns even in winter.
Can't complement the staff enough.
Good choice of food, and reasonably priced.
Avoid the night market for food, go here instead.

We had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Service was very slow and food was okay or poor. I would not go here for breakfast again.
We waited 20 minutes for a latte and a cappuccino. Then another 30 minutes for our food (the restaurant was half empty) and by then the coffees were finished. My Eggs Benedict was tasty but an order of French Toast was undercooked. We sent back the toast and ordered two more (expensive) coffees. We waited another 15 minutes for the coffees and 20 minutes for the new French Toast, which was a smaller serving and was delivered without the side of fruit included in the order. By the time my daughter was eating her French Toast I was finished my meal.
Staff did comp the second coffee but the bill was $45 and the service was poor. There are far better places to have breakfast in Cairns. I would not recommend Perotta's.

Excellent breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon. The bacon was beautifully crisp (reminded me of home), the lime hollandaise was a nice twist. Coffee (long black) was excellent.
My partner had the French toast with added bacon and a latte. He says it was fabulous, a beautiful mixture of flavours.

It's was a very busy morning, but the staff really rose to the occasion. French toast was possibly the best brunch I've ever had. Juice was fresh and delicious, coffee was sensational. Don't miss this indulgence!

My second time around visiting and always delightful! Great coffee', food, only fault being we ordered chicken sandwich and assuming we would be receiving a sandwich club style when it was served up as a 'burger' ??? Otherwise food presentation and flavours are lovely

My family have been going to Perotta's weekly since they opened in 1997 and I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful owners and staff, Darren, Yitka, Seb, Erin, Yolanda and Suzie. The quality of the service and food has never wavered even after all these years and the relationship the team have with the clients is shown by the number of regulars who are there daily , weekly etc......they would not keep coming back if the quality and friendliness was not constant! Well done to all......you are our gastronomic family :)
