Absolutely loved staying here, the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. There are renovations going on but I was able to have a brand new room all to myself! Bathrooms, rooms and kitchen are very well kept as well! Not to mention they have an amazing complimentary breakfast and great wifi! Would definitely stay here again! (:

The free wifi was super fast and there were always fun events going on at the hostel. the I'd highly recommend Mad Monkey to any budget backpackers traveling to Cairns.

I think this place is a 5 of 5 hostel in cairns. Awesome kitchen, bar, pool, commonareas. The atmosphere is relaxing. Exactly what i wanted. Had so much fun here. Daily events to join if you want, really good wifi and helpful staff. The place to stay at i cairns!

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff is friendly, kitchen is provided with all necessary equipment and the front door is open 24/7.
Free WiFi, amazing free breakfast, pool and outdoor area very nice, clean rooms and free shuttle bus to/from the city centre.

I was staying in Mad Monkey broarway in Sydney. I absolutely loved my stay there. The hostel was always super clean and staff members were friendly and nice. Free breakfast was really good and free wifi was super fast.

Ideal location, adjacent to the only nice park in cairns and very central. Free breakfast, wifi is as good as I have back home and has a pool to enjoy. When I'm next back in town this is where you'll find me.
Best hostel iv ever stayed at! Free wifi is great and the included breakfast is second to none. The guy who does the events is awesome too!

Friendly staff, very clean, big kitchen, events every day/night, cheap bar, free gym pass everyday to a gym nearby and they're connected to a really good pizza/pasta/salad place where you get 50% off everything if you're staying at Mad Monkey! The only downside is you might get stuck and never want to leave!
I had a great stay at Mad Monkey Village. Best Hostel I've stayed so far. Very good wifi, breakfast and the people working here are very friendly. The rooms are brand new and clean. Would definitely book a stay here again.

My husband and I love this place. Since we discovered it this year, we've had wings, pizza, chresy garlic bread and their awesome nachos almost every other week (sometimes more than once in a week lol) we absolutely love their food and the service is pretty great. Even on the one off time we had an issue with our order, I believe it was the owner that followed up with us, gave us a discount code and ensured that the issue was fixed. I love that service and the general friendliness we always get from all the staff, pick up, delivery or when we have eaten at the restaurant.❤️👌🏻
We ordered two pizzas from lush pizza tonight and their service was impeccable and the pizzas we ordered were extremely tasty, I would say the best I’ve had in a very long time. They were able to customise a pizza for us and get it delivered to our hotel. Amazing service and delicious pizza.
I don't why but this place just works. I order delivery a fair bit being fly in fly out at the moment and everywhere in Cairns is pretty bad imho. But not lush food!, this was great quality, delivered hot!, packaged well, no errors, good customer service, they even caught a driver stuff up and fixed it quick (uber eats made a mistake). This place just works. And that's so rare in cairns in my experience. I don't leave reviews, but I had to for these guys. I will always reward high quality and good customer service with my loyalty. So please keep it up guys and you have a loyal new customer. You're my new pizza place.
Decent pizza.. shame about the service, rude. Could see the guy was understaffed and under pressure.. but no excuse for rudeness. I'll be back for the tasty food and perhaps a 5 star review if the service is more acceptable
We was in Cairns for holidays and my son just loved the pizza from Lush. The best pizza's and nacho's we could find in Cairns. The staff was really friendly and the service was great as well.
One of the best pizzas that I ever had!!!Thin pizza base, with just the right amount of toppings, not over loaded...great flavour!!!!
