Came here Sunday 19/06/22 for the High Tea and the service from the male staff member / waiter (I can't remember his name) was wonderful - friendly and helpful. The High Tea was delicious too, we were so full by the end.
Throughout our stay we have also been ordering from the bar (delivery to the poolside upstairs) and the service has been great, albeit a little slow to receive orders.

Took my mum to Coco's Kitchen + Bar for high tea yesterday. Really easy online booking system. Friendly, quick service. I am pregnant and there were no issues catering to restrictions. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of food that was provided. The setting in the Pullman hotel was also absolutely lovely and clean. Will definitely be back and will highly recomend to others.

Great place for breakfast, located in the foyer of Pullman International Hotel, directly across the road from the Cairns Casino.
Full buffet breakfast for $39 or they have al a carte breakfast menu.
I had the Full Bug Breakfast which was $26, bacon, sausages, hashbrowns, toast, rocket, avocado, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes. A huge feed.

Worst dining experience ever!
I booked that place for my husband's bd dinner and I started to feel guilty halfway through that meal. I was at that restaurant 4-5 years ago but I don't remember it looking like abandoned food court. When we were leaving I noticed other guests using phone torch to read a menue.
Service is non existing from the moment we showed up there. We had to wait quite a long time to be seated, 15 minutes wait to order drinks etc My entree was a squid with WILTED rocket leaves and when I pointed them out to a waiter he replied that nobody eats them anyway. My husband ordered medim steak and got a rare one. It is hard to understand that it is the same like giving a well done to someone who ordered a rare one. I ordered a linguine with seafood and got enormous amount of pasta that I'd use at home for at least 4 people, that pasta was lacking even salt! No flavour what so ever. We were planning to order desserts but decided to go to Casino to get them.
Save your time and money and go next door to Piccolo. You won't regret it!

Around 30 minute wait for dessert last night, ended up getting it sent to the room.

If you want to have some fun or you are not aware at the start for the poor level of service,… well enjoy ! After being angry at the start, we prefer to laugh and pay 207$ for two people… (food is good)

Very overpriced, we each didnt like our entrees, mains were ok, desert was delicious, service was quite poor despite 2 staff members. Not worth the money, go somewhere else. We were enticed by the well presented hotel lobby.

Terrible service, first we waited 5 minutes to be even seated with only 4 tables of people in the whole place and about 20 empty tables.
Stood and watched as the wait staff were not even doing any serving.
We then waited 30 mins from when we were seated to when they came to take our order, but the kicker is a couple came in after us and were seated and had ordered and were even getting some of their order before we were even asked once if we were ready to order.
We made the choice at that point to just leave, if it took that long to even get to taking our order, God knows how long it was going to take them to bring out food.
While we were waiting we watched, what we can only assume was the manager, stand around chatting to the bar staff.
All in all, terrible service.
Which is a shame because we had amazing service and food at the pullman in port douglas and thought this would be a similar experience.

Good location , we got a good price via Travelzoo , interior room decor probably needs updating , nice friendly staff , also got breakfast deal with Travelzoo , would not have been happy paying full price for breakfast though

Beautiful Hotel... great location; friendly, attentive staff; and a sensational restaurant with an abundance of top quality food. All round great place (and a fantastic place for us to take a well-earned vacation).

Had an awesome 3 nights stay here (May 26-29). From its location, elegant entrance in the lobby, hotel cleanliness, balcony view, staff interactions with their customers are superb, foods are great too. I had a Vie Spa treatment and staff took care of me well. What makes me more amazed was when the staff named Rina and other one, called up my fiance to let him come back to Vie Spa after my treatment as they prepared some surprises for me. I was indeed surprised when I came out from the spa room seeing my fiance with some assorted pieces of cakes well arranged in the plate with 2 glasses of champagne. These were all done and sponsored by Vie Spa. This hotel is memorable for me as not only my bday was celebrated here but my engagement happened took place also. I will surely love to come back here.

Had a conference in Cairns and from all accounts the Pullman was the place to stay. What a great choice! From check in to check out the whole experience was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff, great food, very comfy rooms and perfect location. Well done PCI!

WE love this magnificent stately hotel, with its wonderful spacious bedrooms with great views of Trinity inlet, close to the pier, the lagoon, I fact close to just about everything in Central Cairns, don't just take my word for it, they are hosting the Scottish Rugby World Cup team for a couple of weeks.
I had the best breakfast this morning, including made to order Crepes and omelettes, smoothes and a squeeze your own special breakfast juice.
We are locals and regulars at this hotel, and we know from experience that the staff and management always try to go that extra mile.

A lovely hotel. Service was great. Room was a perfect size with every amenity needed for a comfortable stay. The only feedback would be that an update may be needed soon to keep up with other competitors but all in all we loved our stay. Would recommend to friends. Thanks also for the late check out - especially with our flight home being at 6:30pm 👌

I staying last night. Everything was great, comfortable bed & staff pleasant. Unfortunately I could not eat in the restaurant as it was booked out. When my car was brought up, I got in & it smelt like cigarettes. I’m sure nobody actually smoked in it but the person that brought it up must have smoked prior to driving so the smell went through the air conditioner.
