I tried goat curry and chicken tikka! Wow was amazing!!! Such a mouthing watering taste!

Wow Wow Wow!!! JUST AWESOME! We're very happy that we've stumbled upon this little gem as they served the best curry and the owner is very attentive to us and have suggested some of their menus. They also served the best lassi! A must try when you're in Cairns and is craving for that Indian food without the heaviness of cream but just full on indian spices!

Nice Indian restaurant with large menu, desserts, bar and even kids meals. Great for groups, takeaway on the way home, or even to pop in for a snack in the arvo. Indoor and outdoor seating also street parking available.

Tandoori nights an attractive name but not very attractive service or food. A pall of gloom prevailed upon the faces of Waiters. The only good thing is that if you eat Butter Chicken or Dal Makhani then you do not need to eat Dessert because both the items are unusually sweet. We asked if the cook had mistakenly used Sugar instead of Salt, but the young owner was proud of his recipe and said that we cook for Australian clients (and not for Indian clients) who like the sweet curries. I feel sorry for these clients. They should name the restaurant Sweet Tandoori instead of Tandoori Nights.

What can I say, from the moment I walked in I was impressed. The staff are absolutely amazing and were always able to help answer any questions I had. The food was breath taking. So much flavour, so much fun. I walked away hungry for more. Definitely going back again.

I really loved their food and service. I was in cairns for vacation for 2 weeks and was looking for good quality food. After eating here, I and my wife were very happy. The food was delicious and tasty. I specially loved their spinach and cheese naan and spinach daal.
I don’t regularly write such a long review, but it’s worth writing after having such a delicious food.

Ok there are a heap of weird reviews on here so I thought I’d better throw my two cents in. We’re visiting Cairns from Tasmania and have to say the curry here was really nice. Great rich flavour, the garlic and cheese naan was tasty and the coconut rice was delicious was gorgeous spices through it. Can recommend (and I’m a real person 😉)

Very poor service 50mins to get appetiser served from the time we stepped in.
Ordered seekh kebab which was dry and cold felt like eating tyre
Orders some special goat curry thinking it would be good, but was under cooked. During the food, ordered additional nan bread which took 10mins to come.
Won't recommend to anyone - waste of time and money. I can definitely cook better kebab and curry at home. But chose to eat out that day, bad choice.

Sadly the sheek kebab was dry, tasteless & grey in colour. The samosas however were delicious. Both curries had succulent meat pieces but the curry lacked flavour & depth. The rice was beautifully cooked but the naan bread very disappointing dry & tiny.
Sadly I don't think we will be returning which is a shame as they are only up the road from us & we love a good curry

First meal of the night in Cairns and honestly, what a let down. The curries were cold and bland, Raita felt like its buttermilk (with added sugar to make it sweet although was off/bitter) .......... The salads were big serving but the mains were seriously a let down.

Had a delicious dinner, my butter chicken was excellent, and Barry had goat, which he has never tried before, and he said it was just the best. Well done, if we lived in Cairns would be back every week.
