We really enjoyed the food and cooking it was fun. We had 7 adults and 4 kids and spent $500. Eek! But was a birthday so we did go a bit overboard.

The BBQ experience was awesome. The selections of marinated meat was full of flavour & very delicious. You can request to change the selection of meat to your preference. The environment was nice but we called in early for a reservation, however on arrival we were informed that there was no reservation made under our name or even under our phone number. Now we did get a table which was great but then we never got our second drink we waited half an Hr for a Japanese b

Not 5 stars but 10! Love this place! Delicious food and amazing service! Riki himself is so lovely, hard working and always remembers a familiar face. I thoroughly enjoy coming here I’ve made myself a regular. Thanks again for a lovely dinner tonight and see you again soon ☺️

Very lovely restaurant!! We ate at the traditional tables and it was an amazing experience! The food was fantastic and came out quite quickly!! I highly recommend!! The people where lovely 🥰

It's always an absolute treat to eat here, the environment is calming and the staff are extremely friendly to all. The food is well prepared and delicious! The prices range from low to being quite expensive, however the prices are reasonable when it comes to a Japanese restaurant in Cairns!

Great authentic Japanese restaurant. Great bbq options. I opted for a Bento Box which included salmon, tuna, octopus, and squid sashimi. Karage and shredded cabbage, fried salmon fish wing, miso soup, and eel over rice...very very good.

Great food. The meat has excellent seasoning. The shop is a bit busy when I was there. Booking is recommended. Services is a bit lax but this review is in Covid’s era. (They could have staffing problem). Overall strongly recommended. Additional Note: The aircon was not as strong as I would like.
