Awesome place on the esplanade to gather with family and friends for dinner and drinks. Great variety of alcoholic beverages and big portions of delicious food! Our family was particularly excited for the massive pork knuckle special which could easily be for two people! The only down fall I experienced was that our non alcoholic beverage mugs had like a red tint or stain on them from either lipstick or a previous vibrant red drink. I wiped the rim with serviets but it clearly went all the way inside the mug. Thankfully my kids and I are still healthy and didn’t catch any viruses from it!
Best venue in cairns !! Authentic German food and beer, good vibes and great place to have a meal with friends. Very large portions - especially the Shnitzels and Pork knuckle. Staff are all wonderful
The food was fantastic. Young man that was our waiter was very helpful. My knee was killing me so he got everything delivered to us, took our orders and was very friendly. My husband likes his schnitzel a little thicker but enjoyed it with a mushroom sauce. Ordered a small cider and that was lucky as it was quite big. Beautiful day sitting outside at clean tables 🍺
We love this place. The food is simply DELICIOUS and the service extremely good. We dined there twice during our stay and we had our dog with us. Every time the table was reserved for us and the dog bowl with water was ready for our dog. You need to order and pay at the bar and the food is delivered to your table. The portions are very generous and the food is full of many different flavours. We had wild barramundi and schnitzel.
Highly recommended! You need to go there and try for yourself. Now it is our favourite restaurant in Cairns.
