The hotel was nice and situated in a good location. Travel agency right next door which was handy. Walking distance to the pier and ferry terminal which is very convenient. The shower is over a bath and the pressure is very weak. The hot and cold tap is very sensitive, so it goes from too warm to very hot with a very slight turn. Breakfast is not included with your room. Breakfast is available for $25 per person. We order room service, and the service was fast, and the food was great. There are not enough facilities for my liking. Overall not bad but there is room for improvement.

The room was extremely spacious and had a great balcony area. Small aspects of the room could do with a touch up, but this was more than made up for by the excellent and accommodating service and brilliant location. I feel that this hotel has been unfairly ranked down due to being a quarantine hotel and so please ignore these as they do not reflect the quality of the hotel.

Had a great weekend in Cairns, the pacific was perfect for what we needed. Room was spacious, it was serviced every day and had a great view from the balcony. The staff were helpful and we had access to all we needed. Really short walk to the marina and bars. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location close to the markets and the esplanade. The rooms are dated as compared to the other counterparts. No other amenities like gym or a pool. If you are not too fussed about it then it a nice spot to stay.

Fantastic place to stay in Cairns. Professional friendly staff who are very informative, polite and help you with anything that you need. The location of the hotel is excellent being just around the corner from the main strip with views to the water and mountains. The rooms and ammenities are clean and tidy with everything you need. Will stay again in the future.

The hotel room was very dated, the shower head was falling off the shower wall. The pillow and blankets were very lacking and they were always out of towels… We were also very disappointed in the breakfast as we prepaid $25 a person for the buffet and were not allowed to get takeout when we had early tours and were unable to dine in (not to mention the waitress was very rude when we asked about it). The only thing we enjoyed was the location.

Only one overnight stay but I still did love the view of the Great Dividing Range, it was especially spectacular in the morning mist over Cairns. Very close to important locations - the esplanade, Rusty's, some good bars. I hope to stay here again.

Very good value, nice location close to everything. Free car park is great. On the downside the room can be noisy from other guests around. Curtains were dirty, basic bathroom. But for the price it’s ok.
