Really fantastic bakery, ordered a large number of gluten free and regular cupcakes for a birthday and they were wonderful - particularly the GF ones. The service was friendly and helpful with decorating ideas and given the quality an excellent price.

Came here for coffee and cake. Decor is lovely and it really feels like you are escaping the world outside in this beautiful, little cafe. Lovely toys for children in the small play area. Boutique teas include coc orange fudge (black tea with cacao nibs and orange) and refreshamint (peppermint and pineapple). I had the grey rabbit (Earl Grey tea) which was lovely. Also serve coffee and they have lactose free milk. Cold drinks and milkshakes available. Wide selection of cupcakes and slices. The lemon meringue was delicious with the tart curd and sweet meringue. Unfortunately we couldn't taste Rosewater in the rosewater shortbread which was a little disappointing. Ginger was an interesting addition in the choc caramel slice. We saw a few custom cakes coming out, and they looked incredible. I will definitely be keeping this in mind for future birthdays! A little slice of loveliness in Cairns. I will definitely be returning.

I would personally like to thank annie from annietime cakes. I needed to get a cake for my wifes 50th birthday at very short notice as we flew into cairns for a short getaway. I spoke with every cake shop in cairns with no luck... that all changed when i spoke to annie, annie went above and beyond what i was asking for with very little lend time and even took the time to deliver the cake to a local restaurant for where i surprised my wife for her birthday. The cake was absolutely beautiful in presentation and taste. Can not thank you annie enough for the understanding you have shown me in my predicament. I have had celiacs disease and a dairy intolerance all my life and I have NEVER had such delicious cupcakes and desserts before I found CAKES ANNIETIME!
I have seriously looked and tried everywhere in Cairns but no one does it like these guys.
ALL our birthdays, baby showers and any celebrations are made delicious my these wonderful people, who are such artists!
I might just add my first child is made up of 90% their cupcakes! 🤣 definitely give them a try! Totally worth the $$!

Cakes Annietime is THE place to order your "special" cake from, in the FNQ region. We ordered our ambitious and unique wedding cake from Annie, for our wedding in Palm Cove on the 18th May 2019. The whole process was a delight. From our request for the cake to be vegan, through to our outlandish design, the ease of communication (we arranged this from our home in London), to the joy of the in-store cake testing and finally receiving our wedding cake masterpiece, everything was quite simply, PERFECT! Annie, your work is unparalleled, your support and attention to detail is beautiful, our finished cake was truly amazing and tasted unbelievable (even being vegan) and dealing with you was a complete delight. I’ve just been to Annie’s order my 4 yr old’s cake. Decided to try the vegan cupcake even though im not one lol. Omg was it yum, it was the most delish, moist cupcake I’ve ever tasted and the buttercream mmmm was just unbelievably tasty, one just has to try to understand what i mean lol. Customer service as well was great.

We didn’t have long in Cairns but wanted a sweet treat so Cakes Annietime was perfect. We were served by the owner who is incredibly nice and she talked us through all of the different vegan options. Only a few things weren’t vegan so we had a large range of cupcakes to choose from such as cookies & cream and even a lamington cupcake.
The cakes were moist and flavourful, we chose a lamington and cookies & cream cupcake to share. We took a few others with us to eat later in the day which were equally as delicious.
The space is also really well decorated and a nice break from the heat. Overall we had a great experience made even better by the wonderful hospitality and decent prices.

I had a high tea today & it was delicious & beautifully presented with a lovely bone china cup & saucer ( the cup was a decent size too )
Although the shop itself is quite small with about 5 or 6 tables, it is quite intimate & also beautifully set out & decorated
A great place to go if you want to have a bit of a treat

Amazing!! Walked in to this gorgeous cake shop with beautiful cakes and cupcakes on display and ordered a horror themed cake for my 30th, which was a first for them! Anne was amazing helping create the perfect cake and a did not fail to deliver! The cake looked amazing and tasted sensational I cannot recommend this shop enough, not just for special occasion cakes, but the cupcakes available any day are simply delicious too!
