Palmer River Roadhouse - Cairns - Photo album

Been there a few days ago. Coffee was pretty good as well as the food. By reading the other reviews which mention 'nice staff' I believe the staff had a bad day on that day when we were there as they did only talk the absolute minimum and did not engage at all. Last time we were there was 8 years ag
After a tough 650km trip from Weipa, the Roadhouse is a welcome return to civility.
Fuel reasonable for the Cape and there is a good range of food. As always you can expect to pay a bit for it but hey, they're providing a service that you wouldn't otherwise have for miles around
What a busy pit stop. The view over the fields is green and interesting. Coffee was good and service fast, polite and efficient.
Very busy place but efficient and friendly service. A well stocked shop and cafe make it one of the better roadhouses in the area.
Food, coffee, books, clothes, mugs, all sorts of supplies and more. Friendly service, nice people here. So glad we stopped.
The Lakeland road house is the last stop when you can turn off to either the tip of Australia or Cooktown. You can buy fuel, takeaway, toilets and there's wheel chair access. There's even a large pull off area where your dog can have a walk and a 'widdle'. Friendly staff and a great service.
Staff are friendly, food fantastic. Best burger I've EVER had
