Amazing Authentic Greek Food, just as you’d expect from a home cooked meal! The service was perfect with drinks and food coming out soon after ordering and always was delivered with a smile. Very friendly staff that made not just us but everyone in the restaurant feel welcome - special mention to Costa and Stathi who made our night! Greek music and atmosphere made us feel like we were in Greece. 10/10. Highly recommend if in Cairns.

Epic! Absolutely spectacular service by kosta met with the most delicious authentic feast! Then to top it off the cocktails were amazing. It is an absolute must of you're in Cairns! Highly recommend doing the feed me option you will leave so full you won't want to move.

Absolutely loved this place! First although they didn’t accept our google booked reservation, they still happily managed to find a table for our group of 5. Costa (the manager I think?) was especially lovely, he welcomed us, made us feel at home and and part of the family, even when we got a little rowdy, truely a Greek feel to this place! The food came out super quick even though they were quite busy and on man was it YUMMY! Seriously, we got the $50 feed me feast, totally worth it! Everything that came out was just delicious authentic Greek. Costa even spoiled us a bit extra for dessert with a special traditional dish, amazing! Cannot recommend Yaya’s enough!

I went here on Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the staff were so friendly and nice and the place was overall very lively. One of the best restaurants I have been too. Big thanks to Kosta for being genuine and a great host! It is an absolute must if you are ever in Cairns! I highly recommend it :)

First night in Cairns and we headed straight to Yaya’s for dinner based on a recommendation. And boy did it not disappoint! Besides a minor hiccup with our booking (thanks but no thanks to The Fork) - the food was delicious and the service was exemplary. 4 people bill AUD $223 (included 2 glasses red wine) Ordered trio of dips with extra pita, lamb cutlets and open souvlaki - lamb and chicken followed by baklava for dessert. The taramasalata was smooth and all dips were bursting with flavour. The lamb was succulent with a hint of red served with Greek salad and Greek style potatoes (a must). Our 16 year old son who is still a fussy eater - loved his open lamb souvlaki served with chips. And the piece the resistance - home made baklava!!!! We took the remainder home and even in the fridge overnight - the baklava remained soft and to die for. Our waiter, Tasos - was such a lovely young man - energetic and helpful - and extremely accommodating. Going back before we head back home.

Amazing Greek food at Yaya’s, at only $48 for the Greek feast - the set menu was loaded with delicious traditional Greek specialities.. all of them were extremely delicious and made me feel like I was back in Greece again. We were very full after that meal, thanks Yayas!

Went to Yaya's on a holiday in Cairns. Had a banquet & some other meals, very good quality of food overall, seafood very fresh. On the pricier side, but as expected given location on the Esplanade. Service was fantastic - shout out to Trudy for being so lovely.

Delicious food and incredible service. Dave was kind, quick witted and spoiled us rotten. The cheese wheel alone was worth coming to Cairns for (I’m not from here). And I’d do it again. Pizza was authentic. Staff knowledgeable and they do dessert. Yum.
