Unfortunately, the quality of the food was less than sub-standard.
The xiao long bao served were not of the same quality others have posted here. Tasted like they were out of a frozen box.
Chicken stirfry lacked flavour and substance. No draft beer was available at the time which the server blamed on covid.
While the service was great, it seems for the price there have been too many cut costs here to be an enjoyable experience.

If 0/0 was an option that is what I would give. The sweet and sour pork was dry, rubbery and honestly inedible. The other dishes were sub bar and outrageously over priced for what you get. Only plus was nice service. I hope they were just having an off night, but the food tasted like it came straight out of the deep freeze after 4 years and microwaved.

Decided to try this restaurant out on a Friday night. Ordered the twice cooked pork, special fried rice, beef crispy noodles and xiaolongbao. Initially wanting the beef ho fun but we entered late and it was sold out, so if you plan on ordering this come in earlier. The older man who served us was very polite and provided great service. Overall pleased with the food, the beef crispy noodles also exceeded my expectations. Will return in the future to try to beef ho fun.

Great place for when you are craving Northern Chinese food in Crains. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are good.
Obviously try the seafood, we recommend the steamed clams. The spicy noodles with peanuts will hit your hot spots, as will the ma po tofu (which you can get vegetarian if you prefer).
Service is spotty, you have to wait to get the staff's attention. The food delivery can also be slow, but the food is worth it. 😏

Had a long day trip and decided to try this place. Been told about 15 mins wait but actually waited at least 40 mins. Sichuan dish is terrible. Other dish is sub par. Over all a bad experience.

Delicious and authentic, price is very reasonable. One of the best meals we had in Cairns, Peking duck and mud crab were the highlight.
