Review Coffee Works (cairns) - Cairns

Seriously wicked chocolate. Stopped in on a recommendation and am I ever glad I did. Bought chocolate and coffee - is there a better combination?

Wow... For a place called Coffee Works, this is possibly one of the most terrible coffees I've been served (ever). Was slightly tainted roasting hot milk. Coffee and/or milk was burnt. I returned to say it was very weak and was asked if I wanted to pay for a second shot. I said OK and when I went to pay as told cash only. I mentioned my car was not nearby and then the server gestured to go and said 'Don't worry about it mate'. Coffee still bloody awful. Poured it in the drain and threw the cup away.

This place is amazing. So proud to see all the locally grown coffee and tea, bought a few for the family 👪

Very friendly staff. And very unique chocolate. As American we do not get flavors like these in America and some have the sweet spicy taste to them to satisfy our Indian taste buds. Just phenomenal chocolate. Can't wait to share with family back home.

A little more of an eclectic experiance than a coffee works if you don't take the actual tour. If your in the area take the time to visit and enjoy some great coffees and chocolate...oh yes they make their own chocolate too!

Needed something special for a chocaholic. Lady was full of suggestions and so helpful. Found the exact gift. Everyone delighted.

I treated myself to $60 worth of chocolate, and was bitterly disappointed. First the rock road chocolate block, tasted incredibly, sickingly sweet. No taste of actual chocolate, just sugar and sweetness, also 90% of it was Marshmallow which was a bit cheeky considering how expensive it was. Second up, I bought a very small box of salted caramel milk and dark chocolates. 3 weeks later, they are still sat in my fridge, that's how unpleasant they are! Again just has no chocolate taste whatsoever. So so disappointed. They should stick to the coffee, and abandon chocolate making. A twix tastes better.
