Did not enjoy my recent dinner experience at Edge Hill Bowls Club. Food was average at best. I had the Rib Fillet Steak special. Wouldn’t let me swap the potato for chips when ordering. Didn’t enjoy my steak, my whole meal was a let down for $30. Ordered a lemon, lime & bitters from the bar, they no longer have any kind of straws and I was left to try and mix my drink with my fingers.

Always been my favourite watering hole since I was a teen. Goose club awesome, buy the raffle. Excellent food. Service with a smile. As an interstate traveler now I like coming here to see who I remember. Cold beer on tap.

As a Local and a regular I was delighted with the new dinner menu. Spoilt for choice. I had the the Fish of the day which came with a greek salad while my wife who wasn't so hungry had the tasty barramundi spring rolls.Great food at great price .......and just three blocks from home.

Great meals and a good game of social bowls tuesday night with all welcome. Hubby likes the fact they pour Guiness properly and they use the correct detergents for washing beer glasses.

Absolutely shocking. We had Canadian guests visiting and thought it would be nice to play some bowls and have a real traditional Aussie experience. I called in the morning to confirm a game for 7-8 people in the evening, which the staff member said it was fine and to come anytime. Upon our arrival, a different staff member refused us because we needed 12 people and any less she simply would not turn on the lights. Even after explaining that I was told differently and we travelled far to enjoy some bowls she still refused. She made an effortless attempt to speak to her manager and then without any further explanation turned her back to us, continued serving other patrons at the bar and ignored us. It was evident she did not want us there and we were clearly unwelcome, so we left without so much as an apology. The club lost out on a lively fun bunch & hundreds of dollars between the game fees, food and alcohol. I have never experienced such shocking, or lack there of, customer service. Between miscommunication, mismanagement and mistreatment we will never return.
