Review Zambrero Cairns Central - Cairns

Husband and I walked in and hovered around the L-shaped counter waiting to be served. A metre to our right two other people came in, and the staff served them instead of being attentive and directing us to be served a metre to the right. They took my order wrong also, I ordered a power bowl, not a classic. She offered to remake but didn't want to waste food- still would have been good to eat, but on top of the inattentive service at the beginning it was a poor experience. Food was good though regardless it wasn't fully what I wanted.

The food here is fresh and tasty, and there is usually less of a line than at other places in the food court. I always get the pulled pork nachos and they never disappoint. A little on the pricey side and, if you don't want a mountain of sauce, you need to ask them to go easy. I would happily eat here every week.

It's really not worth the money. I usually share a meal with my husband, today I ate alone so decided to take a small nachos. Having had weight loss surgery I thought this would be enough, but it wasn't. There was a whole bowl of nacho chips, and a teaspoon of each ingredient. Literally a teaspoon of meat, teaspoon of salsa, teaspoon of sour cream, teaspoon of guacamole... And I'm still hungry...

Had a vegetarian burrito, which I have had before from other places and been very happy with, but I was sorely disappointed that this one did not contain beans, just a smear of 'bean paste'. I won't be paying $10 again for a wrap of rice, lettuce and sourcream thanks.

Contrary to comments below, I eat here frequently getting the burritos and they are wonderful and of a high quality all the time every time. Give the Q10 sauce a go!

Pricey and portions are small. 10$ dollar for a salad bowl with meat for extra money😳. Wasn't anything special. I am not sure what's the big deal. It a chain of stores not worth the money at all

$51.00 for two burritos, one serve of nachos, one beer and a soft drink! Never again!

$13.90 for a 'Super Bowl'. The only thing Super about this bowl is the price (plus it gave me Super Bowel)
