Again disappointed way over salted anaemic soggy chips and runny gravy $15 even if you ask for crunchy, just enough for 4 side serves then they fall apart as u eat them... il stick with Balaclava fish even if I have to wait i mean a phone order should take more than 5mins chips should be golden and floating that's how you know they are ready... don't worry IV lost ur number...

Absolutely lovely. The lady at the counter was very friendly and greeted us as we walked in which is unusual these days. We got 2 lots of fish and chips with a can for $10 a hit. Couldn't be happier with the meal and gave us free tartare sauce. We'll be back there next time we're in Cairns. Definitely would recommend this business judged on that day.

The two ladies behind the counter absolutely great, portions unbelievable large, BUT I ordered Spanish Mackerel and I didn't get Mackerel, flesh not white enough, too thin and didn't have large white flacky chuncks of white flesh, next time I will ask to see the raw fish before going into the pan, or ask to leave skin on. Otherwise great value for money. Ladies Mackerel is Mackerel not anything else, some people know there fish not just flake (shark). 3 stars for value and portion size.

Tonight I bought the worst hamburger and piece of battered shark when I ordered fish. The batter was so thin that it stuck to the paper so basically you were left with a fillet flake. I ordered hamburger not a salad roll. Disappointing and disgusting, never again. Really don’t deserve the 1 ⭐️ but I will give it for the soft drink.

Beautiful food, Fantastic service!! Lovely fish, tasty chicken burger! We didn't realise they were about to close but they were more than happy to make our large order.
