Review Blu Marlin Bistro - Cairns

Convenient location for a quick breakfast and coffee when you are planning to go on a day tour from the reef. Located right next to the reef fleet terminal and the offices of the tour operators. Have a generous menu for breakfast and the coffees are nice as well. Fresh fruits and the smoothies are a nice light option if you are going for scuba or a glass helmet tour

Lovely spot, perfect service as in they serve your coffee with your breakfast rather than some that serve the coffee too early. Friendly staff, would come again happily

What a rip off this place is!!!! 2 bacon and egg rolls and 2 coffee for $52.00 you have got to be joking 😂 the added avo cost us $6.00 per person can you believe it!? Even at the supermarket you can get a whole avo for $1.00. Bacon was hard, eggs were over done, the bun was doughy and not baked properly and when we got them they were close to cold. This is a joke. Situated right at the tours wharf this cafe takes advantage of tourists who come here in the early morning to board their cruises as there is no there cafe is sight. Disgusting. If I could give them 0 starts or minus I would. Don’t eat here. Organise something else.

Had a great meal of young calamari rings, chips, garden salad served with taratare sauce. The ambience is really great. A cool sea breeze blowing into your face while you have your plate of seafood with facing the harbour and the mountains in the backdrop.

I can’t tell you what the food was like because after waiting for 36 minutes, we decided to leave when we found out they hadn’t even started cooking the food. Not even at a busy time. The waitress couldn’t even get the order right. Find somewhere else to go
