Review Coffee Shop Restaurant - Cairns

STEPHEN NORRIS
My first visit to Café 33 Cairns on 02/06/21. I only ordered a large Cappuccino & one Vanilla Slice, friendly service from the lady behind the counter. Sat inside the main Café dining area & served within 10 mins. Paid in total AUD $11.00 I'm sorry to say I noticed a couple of diners walk in without Scanning QR Code & very disappointing & that's my reason for only giving 3 star.

My friend and I had Egg Bendict, with added bacon 🥓. They didn't use toast. Not sure what it was meant to be?? Was extremely, extremely oily and didn't taste nice.Reacted on both of us. Was expensive as well. The egg's weren't good either. They need to change the oil in the fryer as well. We won't be eating that that there again.

Food, juices and coffee were great. Great for seniors; newspapers available and some wheelchair friendly seating. Close to big w, chemist and other retail outlets. Open, inviting and definitely a regular stop for me!!

Lovely little place next to Big W coffee ☕ was fantastic and the fish 🐠 and chips 🍟 were great. The sausage that was apart of the big breakfast did not come from mighty nice meats 🥩 it was unpleasant and unpalatable. They do get busy and maybe a little stressed. But will definitely try again the smoothies looked great.

Food was great. First toasted sandwich was delivered and eaten. Then lots of tables around received meals. Asked and finally (quite some time mind) other 2 meals were delivered. (Another toasted sandwich & burger) Not sure why as all ordered on the same number

Visiting from Melbourne and came here for a much needed breakfast, it was closed. I suggest you uphold or update your opening hours to avoid disappointing others guests. Regards, The Eating & Drinking Cow
