Everthing was freshly cooked. We had vegetable kiyagare, spicy squid, chicken teriyake and chicken curry. Very delicious prepared in an authentic Japanese way. The lady owner was nice to let us sit in a bigger table as we squeezed in a 2 seater table. We enjoyed the food and will go back when we come back to Cairns.

Tried the well-known bento box at this restaurant, the food was authentic and we can see that the staff are Japanese as well.
The only thing is in comparison to other Japanese restaurant this place do seems to be a bit higher in price. We went on a Sunday and the food took quite a while to arrive presumably because they are very short staffed.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here! Service was very friendly and accommodating to my allergies. Food was fresh, generous serving size and great flavours. I had cold soba ($17) with added chicken karaage ($8). Both were delicious and authentic. Nice atmosphere with instrumental piano jazz music in the background. Would definitely come back here!

Really good foods and good proportion! We weren’t plan to have dinner in this place but we found it we never try. We are quite often to eat Japanese foods in cairns. Thats set is actually out of my expectation! It is basically everything is balancing in the bento box , tasty and fresh!!! Nice and hot! We are really surprise by the quality of foods! Definitely will go back again!

Am I in Japan or Australia? Because I don’t know anymore. This is by farrrr one of the best Japanese restaurant (in terms of food) I have been to and I have been to many around the world. The chicken katsu is out of this world, the tenderness of the meat and the perfect outer crust that only the Japanese does is the perfect combination. The sushi, although not the best of the world, is fantastic! I cannot believe I am in Cairns Australia. Please open more around the world!!! The white folks will thank you!!

Lovely local restaurant. The katsu is the best I've had in Australia. All the starters are yummy too. The staff are nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Though it is a little bit expensive, it offers really great foods. It is Korean style Japanese restaurant. Enjoyed dinner with kids.

It’s not the best Katsu Pork cutlet I ever had. I however loved the presentation and portion. 5 stars in Cairns.
