Review La Dolce Vita - Caloundra

Tonights dinner and dessert with my partner! It’s our 2 year anniversary today and we thought we’d drive to Caloundra for a holiday. Coming to Dom’s at Kings was a perfect choice to top our last night. Food was absolute delicious and fresh. We even had a garlic bread entree that was absolutely delicious! The prices are insanely great in itself as well. Thank-you for an amazing night and an AMAZING sticking pudding dessert. We will be back!!! :)

We attended a 50th birthday here and it was vibrant and welcoming! The food was delicious! the restaurant feels like it has a lot of history, love and laughs attached to it - absolutely love! Will be back again when we visit Caloundra 🥰

Always one to support local businesses in these tough times, we went to a local Italian called Dom's on King, suffice to say.....6 "seafood" ravioli (was a paste with no dissernanable taste) with I am not sure what sauce which absolutely killed the taste, won't have me back there any time soon. Apparently they are hand made on premises or by someone in Brisbane (same woman two stories) so they are worth....or so they told us. The tomato in the middle was an interesting touch as was the cold prawn. The dead giveaway though was having a packaged parmesan cheese on top. What self respecting Italian restaurant would put cheese on top of a seafood dish. Alas, Italian restaurants like this don't come round often.

This is a wonderful little establishment. The food is incredible. The owners and staff will go above and beyond for their customers. I love this place, we will make it our regular date night place.

Came down from Gold Coast for our Anniversary, went to this little Italian restaurant We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the food was amazing and the service was by far better then most 5 star restaurants. Special mention to Gabby for her great service and friendly nature. We couldn’t fit desert in the first night so we went back the next night. And it was a good as it was promised. Love family run businesses. We will be back!!!

The staff on last night were brilliant. Very helpful and attentive with a great combination of professionalism and humour. The food here is also great. When the menu says seafood - you actually get seafood! Bugs cut in half on your plate, oysters and scallops still in the shell etc. The eye fillet steak I had was beautifully cooked with the perfect amount of charring. Thank you for a lovely meal.

We were in Caloundra for 3 nights. Dined in on our first night. Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. Next night rang & asked if they did takeaway pizza. Advised that their whole menu can be takeaway. So we had pizza. Last night decided to go back & again we were not disappointed. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and the staff. Highly recommend this lovely establishment.

Food was good but sadly white wine was warm yuk! When we enquired as to how long it had been in the fridge we were told all day! Never! To make it drinkable we had to put ice cubes in it. Being the week leading up to Christmas the outside was full and we asked for an extra plate when our food was presented because we wanted to share....in the end we had to go in and ask again and also for water which was ordered at the beginning with our wine. Yes sadly a poor show as we are locals not tourists which could have resulted in more regular visits not so sure now!

The most succulent wonderful steak you can eat... as a local i cannot recommend the food here enough

We decided to book for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I booked a table inside but was given a table outside which at the time I thought would be nice to see the view. However as the afternoon early evening progressed it was very noisy with people walking past etc. We had to ask to order our food, then ask for some water for the table. Asked the waitress for a wine recommendation to go with our meal she shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know - Our kids meals were bought out after 20mins but then our meals were bought out abt 25mins after the kids had finished eating - not enjoyable not being able to enjoy eating our meals with our children on a special occasion. Hubby ordered eye fillet medium - came out nearly well done we didn’t bother to say anything as we just ate so we could get out of there. A different waitress clearing the table asked how our meals were and we were honest. She apologised but that’s were the service stopped. Definatley not fine dining more like street side cafe

Had an amazing meal with hubby last night. Excellent food and service. Ravioli was devine. Best meal on the Coast in a long while. Will definitely be back!

Just had a small business breakfast ! Great food & coffee even though the clouds were out! Great place to meet up. Thanks for the wonderful start to our day.
