Nuclear Yellow Chips, nuclear white inside - zero flavour. Asked for local seafood & they suggested Snapper (from Gladstone) & I was happy with that. Until I got it. Fish was grey & glassy, falling apart, all of the crumbed coating slipped off - was not sticking to the fish as it was quite slimy. Tasteless. Do not be sucked in by the "fresh fish market appearance" for cooked food. Maybe the fresh fish sold is of a better standard. I just felt like I got the "Near Expiry Snapper Special"....without the special. 😣

Love the hamburgers and seasoned chips. I haven't bought the seafood yet but it all looks very fresh. The shops busy for a reason, it's really great food. But they get them orders out quick and never disappointed on the quality of food. The best take away shop.

Our favourite place for F&C's at the coast. I don't know what their secret ingredient is but the seasoned chips are so, so good! Fish is always fresh and beautifully cooked too. We have been coming here for many years and will continue to do so for many more.

Bought two bits of cod, one crumbed and one grilled about $9.40 each, both the same size and well.... Look at the picture i included the plastic knife for size comparison, this is both the most expensive and smallest pieces of cod i have ever bought from a fish and chip shop in my entire life..

Quantity was good, fish was ok, chips were terrible. All of the food seemed like it had been cooked much earlier than picked up. I was told approx 15 minutes for the order and I arrived earlier and the food was ready but the chips seemed liked they had been cooked much earlier, not crisp and crunchy but soft and soggy. There are other fish and chip places which do a better job!

WOW!!! Now I know why this place is so busy every time I drive past. Dropped in for the first time today grabbed some fish and chips… cooked to perfection, chips were crispy, and fluffy fish in thin batter. Also got a dozen of fresh oyster on the way out the door and they were as good as the ones I ate at the oyster farm in Tasmania. A new local that will be back!

Bought the couples pack, fish was very thin and the crumb was like flour, calamari was overcooked and dry with zero flavour. Also bought a couple of Bugs at 69kg they both were nearly empty of meat what an absolute waste of money...don't go here people worst seafood place we've ever gone to.

Popped in for Lunch today was hands down best fish & chips I ve had. Fluffy snapper that just flaked away and crispy golden chippies. Very busy I know why now. Awesome I ll be back

We go here regularly because it really is the best food. The shop is very clean & they have the best gravy for chip dipping & the freshest seafood. The chips are THE BEST EVER. Never had a bad or mediocre meal. Always excellent quality & taste. YUM� The staff are friendly & efficient too�

So good!! The salt n pepper calamari was DELICIOUS (so good infact that it made me expect a little more from the crumbed calamari but it was still good) and the chip seasoning offered was a nice change from the standard chicken salt you get everywhere else. 2 meals fed two adults, a child and an infant so servings were generous and food was served hot and fresh. The guy over at the fresh seafood counter on Saturday night was full of life and humour and the fresh prawns were second to none & well priced. We'll certainly visit again when visiting the coast �

My parents are visiting from NZ and called in yesterday to buy some fresh fish to cook for "their favourite son". They said the service was excellent and were expertly directed to the Mangrove Jack which they had never tried. The fish was outstanding, and they stated "Was the best fish they have tasted in Australia". Thanks guys and gals.

Absolutely outstanding! Best seafood! We take in an empty platter and select the seafood and these guys hand the platter back with the prawns, bugs, lobster, oysters etc all clean and amazingly presented.

I was lucky enough to have the experience of working at Caloundra Seafood Market over the past few weeks, unfortunately due to personal reasons I am unable to continue working there. The food was great and also the customer service. We also bought fresh local seafood which was great quality and the guy cleaned and cut my crab and Moreton bay bugs. Will definitely be coming back next time we come to caloundra.
