OMG, what an awesome place � We had a group staying in Pelican Waters 5 days (for a wedding), we went to tavern for tea on the Thursday night 17/5/18 the meals were sooo delicious, then we ended up back there after the hens night (Friday great night), then took more friends there for tea & watched the West Coast Eagles beat Richmond on Sunday night, had another awesome meal, all together 14 delicious, scrumptious meals & not one complaint. So if you are ever in Caloundra, you have to come to this place, thanks to all the staff, we loved our stay ���

I had lunch at the tavern yesterday with my husband and mother. I decided to go with the steak and 1/2 lobster, all I can say is don’t both. I had cold soggy chips,mixed leaf salad that was dry and un dressed, very thin steak that was dry with uneatable sinew through it. The only part of the meal I finished was the very small portion of finely shredded lobster in mornay sauce. I took my plate back to the kitchen staff and explained my disappointment in the meal by mentioning the above reasons and all I got was “ thanks for letting me know “ I sent a message to the club on their web site yesterday once I returned home but no response. On the upside my husband had a good burger and my Mum enjoyed her pork belly.

I was disappointed with the meal. The smell was wonderfully aromatic, the steak cooked to perfection. However the steak itself was turf, 3/4 fat and gristle that was unable to be cut. The sauce lovely. Chips were plain and had no taste. The salad was bitter. I enjoyed the ambience of the dining room and the politeness of the staff. Hopefully they will get a new butcher or better cuts of meat.

Honestly staff are great but we are locals and the menu really needs changing. My meal Friday night was terrible and all the meals I have had have been pretty poor. Time for a change guys😊😊

My friend and I really enjoyed our lunch. The garlic bread was to die for and she loved her silverside. I had the fish & chips with salad and it was also very enjoyable. The service was quick and our waitress lovely. I give it a 10/10

Excellent service with a smile! We had the Sunday seafood special (platter). I thought it was a bit small for the $45 price tag but honestly couldn't fault the food! A lot was fried but the batter was so light and not oily which is very rare! Seafood was fresh and so tasty! It's a new favourite for Sundays!

The four of us had the steak & lobster mornay tonight for $33, steak was cooked to perfection and lobster was lovely. Best meal we've had here in ages. Staff were informative and friendly too.

Went to the sports bar on a Saturday afternoon for drinks and a few bets on the horse races. Place was packed and minimal staff behind the bar, but whenever we were served it was with a friendly smile. Restaurant was also busy, but again helpful staff found us a table and went about setting it up for us. We had the Seniors meal...rump, chips and salad and it was great. Then a lovely staff member drove us home on their courtesy bus. Nothing seemed to be a trouble, and as we have been there a few times in the past...will continue to do so when visiting in the area.

We are regulars and love it, the food is always good. staff are very friendly and service good.The fireworks were very good and lasted at least 8 minutes. My only complaint is that on special days and nights not enough staff.
