Review The Coffee Club - Caloundra

Steven Boge
I normally don't LOOOOOVE the Coffee club coffee blend but this was really decent! Maybe it was the chilled out setting or the friendly, laidback service that made my day. It may have just been the bear on the coffee that the manager Tyler brought over. šŸ» Whatever it was, I'll be back.

My husband and I had breakfast twice at this particular Coffee Club and we found the service to be exceptional. The staff were very friendly and obliging and always had a welcoming smile. The food was well presented and not just thrown together on a plate. Would highly recommend Bullock Beach Coffee Club. Thank you for the great service. It was lovely to get table service - which is not available at all places šŸ˜Š

Ordered through uber eats a chicken parmi. For the price of this for what i got is ridiculous. Cheese just melted on ham with the salsa . Chips are less than a handful and salad might as well just call it lettuce. Understand times are tough with staff but this is a joke.

Iā€™m not one to write a bad review but in this case itā€™s necessary for hopeful improvement. We came in today with a reservation for Motherā€™s Day but they could not find our name so we had to wait for a few minutes while they found a table and the staff member himself called the boss ā€œuselessā€. Then it took about 20 minutes for a staff member to take our order. We waited for our food for 1 hour and 30 minutes, at 1 hour we asked what was taking to long to a young girl whom never came back to tell us. We then asked another staff member who was rude and said there was a 45 minute wait on food which we were not told prior. Also nobody came around to offer us some second drinks in the meantime. We spoke to 2 other tables who also were waiting hours on food aswell. Once we FINALLY got our food it was even COLD! I am livid with the service here today. Please be mindful before coming here!

Yesterday, I dined in with friends and ordered corn and zuccini fritters with a side salad. However, the salad consisted of about 5 to 6 pieces of lettuce wilted, presumably by being put under a grill or heat, not extras. Being a public holiday, I was charged 15% surcharge which totalled $27.50, $4 of that being for the salad. This was by far the worst meal I had ever had, apart from the fact it was too overpriced for what I got. Shame on you Coffee Club, Rumba Resort. I will never go back. The presentation was also shocking. I wish I had taken a photo to prove that I am not telling a lie. I do hope you do lift your game.

Staff were amazing, especially Kale. Asked him to surprise me with a drink and chose perfectly. Was very pleased with his service today.

Not dog friendly (not even people friendly!) We were shoved rudely around the side where ā€œdogsā€ could be on the pretence of health and safety where our table top was not screwed on (or offered to be fixed/us moved) with a broken dog water bowl. From this vantage point we could watch the rude employee walk past and kick another (not in jest). When inconsistencies were pointed out to ā€œAmberā€ she was rude and dismissive. Other staff were lovely but Amber has ruined it for us. We will not be back - ever. Stark contrast is the Drift bar next door which is super friendly for humans and dogs alike and have no preferences for seating areas for our canine companions. For frame of reference- our dog is 2.5kgs dripping wet.

I ordered Eggs Benedict. It was bacon eggs & toast. The citrus tart was mostly tart. Just as well I had the berries. Service was long winded also. Staff were friendly & smiling.

The best hollandaise sauce ever! We come here all the way from Brisbane just to have eggs benedict. The location is great as well, right in front of the beach.

My experience has been mixed. The breakfasts have been the best part of the menu. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait a terribly long time. The only down side was that I was dining with someone who was gf, which meant two things: smaller portion and greater cost. I understand that this is a common issue in many establishments but it does make things a bit awkward when you're hoeing into a generous helping of Turkish bread and your friend is trying to find the tiny piece of bread hidden under her eggs. At least the coffee club makes a decent attempt to cater for gf.

Service was disappointing, we waited a long time just for the menu once seated, and got given dirty cutlery once we ordered our meal. This was rectified as soon as I let them know, and the food and drink was satisfactory.
