Review Thai Golden Beach Restaurant - Caloundra

What special place. Absolutely beautiful food. Couldn't fault our delicious, spring rolls, chicken satay, crispy pork belly, Thai golden duck and coconut rice. It was a quiet night for the restaurant but the staff were ever so friendly! Definitely be going back!

1st time trying out local food not a good experience, 2 dishes were cold, no flavour never had a lower grade Thai in my entire life very dissatisfied

I had Tom Yum with coconut rice while my partner had chicken satay. Both were disappointing and it was just coconut milk mixed into jasmine rice (not even thoroughly done). Goodbye, first and last time !!! Yeah, prices were a tad higher too..

A hidden gem, in the ally next to the post office, this little place makes a very delicious thai meal. We enjoyed 4 different meals all fantastic. The Staff are all friendly and helpful, we would recommend Thai Golden Beach to everyone.

I bought honey chicken tonight and I can honestly say there was no honey on any of the chicken.They forgot to add the honey sauce.I also bought 4 spring rolls, they were nice but was only given very tiny sauce to go with it.Very dissapointed in my meals. I did order the food right before closing time. Obviously were in a hurry!

Absolutely the worst meal. The vegetables were burnt, no flavour of the ginger. Chicken Satay dry and hard. Special rice was so greasy with dehydrated carrot shavings on top. Tofu was burnt. Penang curry watery. Called owners to no avail.

We had a Thai beef salad that could only be described as a poor cousin of the original. Lacking key ingredients like cucumber, coriander,onion, etc. Instead it came with a slaw as the salad. The fried noodle seafood dish was sweet and the prawns were tasteless, probably frozen. We felt we wasted our money here.

Recently got a take away veggie curry and curry puffs. I know this has been a difficult time with covid ...but. The curry puffs were just mashed potato. The curry Flavour was good , but there were very few veggies in it. Terrible value for money

Food was good but size quantity on plate was very small for the $18 price tag.

I am new to Thai cuisine but I really enjoyed the food here.<br/>Entrées were satay chicken and curry puffs. The satay is nice (but I have had better...needs more peanut sauce) but the curry puffs are to die for!<br/>Trying to remember what we ordered for mains (can't find an online menu) but they were also fantastic (mouth watering when thinking about it).<br/>Staff were very friendly and service was quick. <br/>A small but very nice establishment.

Skip the entree go straight for the mains.. We ordered a variety of entrees, spring rolls, wontons and curry puffs. While the prawn spring rolls were perfectly cooked and quite delicious the other entrees weren't quite up to scratch. The steamed wontons were slightly chewy although the filling was tasty and the regular spring rolls and curry puffs were over cooked, almost burnt. <br/>However the mains very absolutely delicious. We ordered king prawn jungle curry and crispy/crunchy spicy pork dish listed on the specials. They were both delicious and well worth another visit to enjoy these lovely mains, full of crisp fresh vegetables and covered in delicious sauce. Our choice of plain steamed rice was slightly disappointing it would have been better to order a fried rice or pad Thai, as the two serves of plain rice at $3.95 each were tiny and not quite cooked to my liking, maybe because it was at the end of the night and that was the last of the bulk steamed rice cooked earlier in the evening.

Great food! Great family restuarant! Good sound track. Byo is a bonus!!
