We ordered some calamari and some burgers The burgers were soggy and the meat was burnt The calamari was over cooked and the chips were under cooked when we asked him to cook the chips a bit more he was rude. Also wanted to charge us for a slice of lemon with our order. We won’t be coming back.

Every time we go to Moffatt, we grab some fish and chips from the Fish Bowl, grab our picnic rug and eat it at the beach. The set up isn’t fancy. It’s pretty raw. The food is well priced. We got a meal for 2 people and it’s pretty good for what we paid. If you want a fancy place with fancy staff,

VERY Very expensive for what you got. Firstly we called up to place our order and couldn’t understand his 1-2 word responses. Then when we arrived to pick up the order there was an older gentleman sitting behind a counter out the back on his phone, he looked up and then continued to look at his phon

I went in here to order food, only one in there. The man barely acknowledged me to the point where I had to ask him if I can order food and his blunt response was ‘you can do whatever you want’. Went around the corner to Moffat beach takeaway much more pleasant/welcoming experience.

Got a wonderful feed here with some hungry boys after a big day, food and fish was super yummy, great serving size and just a solid little local gem with old school vibes to go along. Staff were super friendly and will definitely see us again !

Very good tasty food we had the chips ( no salt otherwise there’s far too much added!)chicken burgers and bacon and egg burgers which were great and had a good amount of salad on them. Would definitely recommend

We tried their pasta / pizza night and were really surprised. The Spaghetti Bolognese with Srilankan chilli sauce (on the side) was amazing. The pizzas were good too - so all in all true value for money. Worth a visit.
