Japanese Gourmet Kenji - Camberwell - Photo album

Love the dining atmosphere and friendlystaff. Really enjoyed the meals with friends. A bit crowded hence the popularity which is totally understandable. Will go this weekend again!
Cute little Japanese place that does authentic Japanese that isn't too westernised/fusion. Clean, healthy, relatively well priced. The sushi/sashimi plate is very good and has quite a lot of food which is rare for this price.
Biggest bento I ever had - 2 large pieces of eel, deep fried prawn, calamari, crab croquette, dumpling, chicken karaage, agedashi tofu, salad with sesame sauce and seaweeds, plus miso soup. Everything cooked perfectly and tasty... walked 2 hours after this, too much food.
Good place to enjoy a family style Japanese meal at a reasonable price.
The service was a bit slow….Very slow 😂but at least we know the food is freshly cooking.
Was good, but today really let us down. Ordered the gourmet sashimi platter, which has historically been good but today 70% was basic salmon, tuna, snapper. The variety was not there. They forgot our Kiso soup also and on top of this we waited 40 mins when we were told 20 mins.
Authentic Japanese cuisine that leaves us wanting to come back every week! The adagashi tofu, soba noodles, maki sushi, miso and so much more are all delicious. The complimentary barley tea is a welcome bonus. If you're after quality Japanese cuisine and you're in the Camberwell area, you won't regr
Tucked away in a little arcade it could be easily missed but It's been a long long long time since I've had really nice fresh sushi with a generous amount of condiments. Yummy.
