Went out for dinner with the best mate, ordered the margherita Di bufala, Italo meat lovers, bruschetta pomodoro and the Nutella twisted donuts. The bufala mozzarella one was my favourite dish of the night, basic ingredients but all together was very flavorful, the pizza base was spot on, not soggy at all. The meat lovers was nice, sausage was nice, couldn’t taste much tomato or mozzarella, tasted mainly sausage but still good. The bruschetta was good, basic ingredients but very flavorful, the donuts were average. The bruschetta fritter and the donut tasted like it was the same batter mix. The donuts needed something to cut through the Nutella and sweetness, it tasted like eating a spoonful of Nutella. Needs bananas or strawberries to cut through all that. Service was excellent, a bit pricey but well worth the try, recommend the margarita di bufala
It’s been nearly a month since I went and I haven’t stopped thinking about this pizza. The buffalo mozzarella is exquisite and the crust is just some of the best dough I’ve ever had. It was really very wonderful. The owner (chef?) was super friendly too.
I’ve been here a few times, and always have had good experiences. I like to be able to watch my pizza being made fresh and cooked infront if you! The owner is passionate about bringing delicious and tasty pizza to his customers which makes it a great experience to enjoy a good Italian meal!
We’re a local family and this was our first visit. Staff were really welcoming and friendly throughout the whole night. Between the 4 of us we had 3 pizzas and 1 kids pizza - 1 x prosciutto, 1x Gorgonzola and salami, 1 x prawn, 1 x ham and mushroom.
I’ve been looking for a great blue cheese pizza for a long time and I’ve found it - Gorgonzola, salami and chilli oil. My mouth is watering just writing this review!

Struck me as an authentic and friendly place! Welcomed us whole heartedly (despite the kids in tow) and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. We had the kids (free if ordered btw 5 & 5.50) margarita, a ham & mushroom calzone & calabrese Pizza - we were all seriously full. Well worth a visit, we are going to come back again soon.
I was very keen to checkout this pizzeria as I read that it is one of the very few Naples-certified pizzerias in Melbourne. I ordered the Margherita and wine deal for just $20! That’s a great offer. I basically had a $1 glass of wine.

Delicious pizza!!! I sometimes leave my crust, but their crust was so damn tasty that I ate it all. We ordered the margarita, calabrese and prosciutto pizzas plus the caprese salad; and couldn’t fault a thing. The pizza was similar to that I’ve had in Italy, lovely wood fired taste with quality ingredients. I will definitely be making this my new local pizza place, one of the best in Melbourne I reckon, and at a very reasonable cost!! A must try for people who love real Italian style pizza!
Just had the BEST pizza tonight, rivals my other favourite (Tiamo in Carlton). I had the Calabrese which was a 10/10 - authentic Italian, wood fired flavour and the crust was lightly crisp yet soft and not dried out Ike some. I usually throw out the crusts but this dough and crust were amazing so I just had to eat every last bit. The salami was complemented with just the right amount of cheese, tomato, peppers and olives and the chilli oil was genuinely good. Will definitely be going back again soon!
Went here on Friday night & we sat outside as there isn’t much seating inside. We ordered 2 pizzas to share, 1 was prosciutto & the other was meat lovers. The pizzas were amazing. So thin, delicious and a great size as well. The real reason we went here is that we saw that they do Nutella donuts. However we were underwhelmed by these but they still tasted good. When we got to pay I didn’t realise there was a $1.35 surcharge on top of what I was buying. Not too fussed about paying a surcharge but I wasn’t told there was a surcharge.
Also during the night we were served by a young gentleman who said it was his first night working at little michaels pizzeria. Cannot express how well he did on his first night. If he didn’t know something he would go ask & come back to let us know. Plus he was great to talk too. It was easy to make conversation with him. He even wished us a good night when he left. Exceptional customer service! I wish him all the best in the future :)
I haven’t been to Italy, but Little Michaels makes pizza the way I imagine the Italians do. We ordered the Snow White Margherita and the Calabrese; and every bite was incredible. You know a pizza is good when even the crust is enjoyed.
Our waitress was a little forgetful however made up for it by being very friendly and making us feel so welcome. My only recommendation to make the experience better is to have a beer list with a bit more variety. Otherwise, Little Michaels is a perfect night out.
A very underrated pizza joint. After spending over 2 months in Italy, I rarely order pizza in Melbourne but was recommended to try their authentic pizzas. Absolutely no regrets. Wish it was a little less pricey and wish it had better deals that cater for 1-2 person, but 5 star for food quality. The dough is amazing.

Nice little place with traditional Neapolitan style pizzas. The desserts are amazing, if you love Nutella then you have to try the donuts. The staff are all really friendly including the owner Michael who takes the time to chat with his customers in between making and cooking pizza.

Amazing little restaurant serving some spectacular food. The staff were all very friendly and our waitress in particular was just a ray of sunshine! We ordered the caprese pizza and the prosciutto pizza which were both served very quickly and I'll have to say it's one of the best fire wood pizzas we've had. Thin crust with very flavorful fresh toppings.
The donuts were even better. Firstly, they were only $10, but the serving size is SO generous, secondly they were so light and fluffy despite being deep fried. Perfectly paired with vanilla ice cream. Will definitely be back!
I've tried many, many woodfired pizza places over the years in the area and further afield. I decided I would just give this a try when my usual was closed one day, not really giving too much thought to it. After all, a woodfired pizza is a fairly simple thing to make and for the most part, they're basically all the same. Boy, how wrong I was! Little Michael's is in a complete league of its own. The crust was light and delightfully chewy. The ingredients were fresh and well balanced. I later found out that Little Michael's is a member of this international certifying body based in Naples which is a seal of quality and a truly authentic Neapolitan Pizza.
Outstanding! This is what I consider an authentic pizza. For starters, the dough and the resulting base was great. The toppings were fresh and tasty and didn't smother the base. There was just the right amount on top.
I had the Calabrese and my friend had The Little Michaelucio. Both were great.
We finished off with the Nutella Donuts. These were as good as their reputation, delicious!
The staff were very friendly and the host was funny and friendly, always making sure everything was fine for us.
You should definitely try this place.

Me and partner wanted to go this place after we watched the show. We had booked the table a week before. The pizzas are amazing. I love the sauce they use! The base itself is so nice and thin. We really enjoy the pizza.
Back to the most important part of the place. We had the homemade Nutella donuts. My partner said that’s one of the best desert he had in his life. It was an amazing experience to visit. We travel 40 mins to get a dinner here. And we’d love to come back next time for those yummy pizzas & donuts.

Came here after the transformation into LMP, from seeing this on the mentor I knew it was a place I had to try out, thankfully they lived up to all expectations and the food absolutely blew me away. The donuts were my particular favorite, they were light and fluffy and packed full of flavor. Definitely, recommend this place for some of the best food in Camberwell.

Oh man, the best Italian restaurant i’ve ever visited in my life!! I came here with my partner for the first time without making a booking. Its fully booked that day but the staffs kindly told us we can squished in until 7:45pm (we used the temporary table that belong to the next customer that come on that time).

Meat Lovers Pizza was so gooooood!! The dough was so fluffy, soft and easily cut. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned,perfect balance and full of flavours! simple dish like this makes you flabbergasted ,thats what you called food heaven!
Nutella Doughnut was so chewy and the dough was so good. I think the restaurant perfected the dough itself, it all create harmony. makes me craving their food when i reviewing this.
Overall,staff was nice and friendly. The place and the ambience was good and perfect for hanging out with your friends or family.

The first time I came here I was unsure of one of the cheeses they had on one of the pizzas, the staff went above and beyond and got some fresh cheese from the back for me to taste to see if I liked it.
The doughnuts are to die for and definitely worth trying.

Bloody great pizza, fantastic service and the doughnuts to finish off were perfect. All in all a super Wednesday night dining experience. The owner/manager popped over to see how everything was as did our waitress and the girl on the till. That in my opinion is a sign of a restaurant that cares about what the customer wants and how they enjoyed the experience. Firstly, considering it was pretty busy, they did a really good job managing the burst in customers.
But importantly the pizza is good. Woodfire oven. This feels and tastes traditional. Simple toppings, crispy base, packed with flavour.
The twisted donuts are something you don't see very often. Have a try!

I watched the mentor tonight and was very disappointed by the behaviour of Micheal at the start What he needs to realise is that everyone works and everyone is under pressure but you stressing and treating everyone poorly only makes you look bad and your family business. The food looks amazing and is the standout to me after watching this show. After watching this, it will be very good for you to get more eyeballs on your product. It was good to see you show respect learn from your mistakes and just see a different you. What you showed to me is that you learnt from this,took everything on board and changed yourself. For that alone you got my respect. I hope you continue to succeed and be the best pizza shop you can be because it was heartbreaking to see you in the state you were. After viewing the whole episode your actions finally spoke your words and you could see a complete transformation so well done.

Wow wow wow. I don't think I can recall having such a good pizza. The dough was so fluffy and although I just had a Margherita, it was one of the best I've ever had. The great service matched the great quality which makes Little Michael's the perfect night out. Hard to fault!

I've been here a few times and they never disappoint. I love the chewy crispy pizza bases and the minimal but quality toppings. I imagine that this is as bonefide Italian pizza as it gets. The desserts are equally delicious!
The service is always friendly and accommodating. Would be preferable if they had an online booking service than phone.

Pick up order & got the Prosciutto. Pizza was delicious, although I had to return as they forgot my prosciutto. I was asked by four different staff members within five minutes what my name/ order was, all appearing very flustered. Whilst one would assume that is good service, I found this a little repetitive, given it was one single pizza that I ordered via phone...shouldn’t be too difficult. Communication between staff could certainly improve. Very noisy in there, not sure I could enjoy a meal with mates without everyone yelling over each other. But, pizza was tasty enough to return again. I hope this feedback is acknowledged, thanks :)

What can I say... these are possibly the best pizzas in Melbourne (and Australia)! I'm certain they capture the essence of what authentic Napoli pizza making is all about. The dough is amazing (if it was served alone with zero toppings I'd still devour it). The beautiful story of the owner's Nonna passing on her knowledge and passion for creating the perfect crust is evident (the restaurant is decked out with family photos and the story is featured on the take away menu). We've been here a few times now, and will continue to come back as not only are the pizzas amazing, but the whole dining experience has been enjoyable (from the accomodating staff to speedy service of food). I love when you can see the passion and dedication coming from an owner as you can usually guarantee it will show up in the quality of the food and the service provided (and Little Michaels did not fail to deliver). I was also extremely impressed how the owner conducted himself and greeted his customers...it was like we were family and we were made to feel very welcome. In a world where things are so impersonal these days, little extra touches like this make a huge difference.
We’ve been here a few times, before and after the renovation and rebranding. Last night the food was simply exquisite as always! The pizzas are truly to die for with the base being the right texture between bready & thin crust crispy... and the topping are of very high quality. One suggestion however, the young guy running the show last night might need a little more training as he was a bit slow and seemed a tad nervous. These pizzas though, bellissimo!!

I had the Salami Pizza topped with Gorgonzola Cheese. A strong blue cheese which creates aromatic flavours throughout the pizza. With a glass of Babich Sauvignon Blanc my Friday night was complete.
Of course we couldn’t leave without dessert. The twisted Nutella donuts were a treat!
We were invited to this fantastic little local Italian which served great local pizza. I really liked to relaxed atmosphere with the little red and white table cloths this felt like the real deal.
We ordered the Snow white margherita and the traditional capricciosa pizza.
I always like to enjoy an authentic margherita pizza the with the creamy Fior Di Latte mozzarella cheese, with the pops of cherry tomato and basil created a simple but delicious meal. The capricciosa was delicious with salty ham and olives.
Coupled with my Babich savvy b on a muggy Melbourne day this was a great crisp taste which paired well with the pizza.
Now we could not leave without trying the nutella doughnuts. These were made fresh and the doughnuts were giant sized but were so fluffy and light I highly recommend them and might need to come back for more too...yummm.

This restaurant is looking gorgeous after a recent new fit-out. It has a beautiful homely feel, whilst presented in a modern and clean way. I was sooo impressed with the pizzas here!! And also by the great array of drinks on offer. A group of 9 of us went, and ordered a huge array of different pizzas, including the well known Margherita, Capricciosa, and the Hawaiian (made available on request!). Also enjoyed another pizza which featured potato and prosciutto and would have to have been my favourite (called La Micheluccio I think?). The pizza crusts were soooo nice and fluffy!! I was really impressed, best i have had for a while. Beautiful Italian soft drinks available too, such as the Santa vittoria Limonata which I LOVE. Will definitely be returning here!
I was lucky enough to be invited to dinner here and had an absolutely delicious evening. The atmosphere was lovely and the traditional red and white checked tablecloths really set the scene for making us feel like we were in an authentic Italian restaurant. The beautiful wood fired oven had pride of place in the venue and the space was decorated with gorgeous family photos.
I chose the Bufala pizza as it’s a classic I can rarely go past. Some may say it’s boring but I believe it’s the true testament of how good a restaurants pizza is and this one was bloody good. A perfect thin base with a yummy puffed up crust topped with high quality mozzarella. Having devoured the entire pizza myself I was too full for dessert but was absolutely loving the look of the donuts on the table next to us. Nutella cased in that beautiful dough? What’s not to like!
We stop for pizza here quite often! Our absolute favorite pizza ever however we really miss the Nutella doughnuts. Although the calzone is delicious just isn’t the same!
Let's start by saying the food was perfect. Was great to get a glass of Italian wine and a peroni to wash it down too. The decor is modern and the service is good. My main feedback would be get some ambience and spend less time on the mechanics and more time on the relationship with the customers. Also there are too many menus. One simple menu would be best. Also the name is too long and hard to say, it would be hard for me to recommend it to my friends without recording the name down.
Was also disappointed to review the receipt when we got home to find out that we were overcharged by $15 so we rang the restaurant back and the only way we can be reimbursed is to go back into the restaurant
Popped by for lunch. The servings were generous - we had to get a takeaway box for the rest. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside and you get a good view of the cooks prepping the pizza and putting it into the wood-burning stove. Ambiance is great. It was good value for money for sure.
Also, maybe better safety precautions? The cook almost hit each other with the hot pizza in front of the oven and there was a little argument. Felt like some of the employees were new and have not gotten the rhythm down.

I’ve been going to pizzaiolo for probably 12 to 18 months. It’s my go to for Neapolitan style pizza (favourite with figo and doc). I have only ever had great pizza and the staff always friendly. I was really surprised to see people complain. Re quality, the pizza base, sauce and toppings are all up there with the best in melbourne. Re price, it’s comparable with other wood fired pizza places. Looking forward to my next visit.
Had a lovely experience here. Had a casual bday dinner with about 15 friends. Service was so lovely all the staff were so attentive and so nice. Even though it was just a relaxed bday gathering they made it very special and put on a disco ball and Nutella calzone with sparklers for me. Everyone enjoyed the food and I loved the dough. It was not heavy or bloating at all! Will definitely make it a regular place for my husband and I. The Nutella calzone was very delicious! Def give it a try.
Honestly you could not fault this place! I took my mum who is a difficult person to please when it comes to food, and my mum absolutely loved their food.....in fact she's planning to take my dad this time!! These guys make their pizza and doughnuts fresh in front of your eyes and it tastes not only fresh but amazing! Their pizzas id so authentic and their doughnuts are so unique, if you are after a casual dining or takeaway, please do try this place as it's hard to find a good place that makes real pizzas.
Ok wow. Great pizza. Super flavoursome base and fresh quality ingredients. Pretty damn fast service too - never taken longer than 15 minutes for takeaway. I'd happily eat the base with some sauce any day, it's that good. I have tried pizza shop directly across the road and would have to say Micheluccio wins hands down, not to say the competition was shabby by any means. Only reasons for not getting 5 stars include a) they are getting pretty exe at $25 a pizza b) the toppings can be a bit measly for what you pay. Don't forget the buy 4 get 5 special!

Honestly, half of the people with the bad rating's need to be educated about Napoletana style pizza. They have been brought up the American/Australian way, in their world the pizza's need a kilo of ingredients or the crust needs to be as crunchy as a savoy biscuit.
Well done to Micheluccio and the team as my partner and I have come here ever since the doors have opened 2 years ago. We recommend you to friends, family and always get great feedback from them.

Micheluccio is a great spot for authentic Italian pizza with a great view of the sunset (outside seating). It's like taking a little step into Italy! The pizza base is perfect thickness (not too thin but not too thick) but also deliciously doughy. Super fresh ingredients and extremely generous toppings (especially the cheese). A great variety of pizzas- they don't offer anything besides pizza but what they do they do extremely well! We'll be back!

At Pizzaiolo Micheluccio there’s a true passion to bring authentic Neopolitan pizzas to this quiet strip of shops in Camberwell. They’re one of only 10 pizzerias in Victoria that are AVPN accredited for their Napoletana Pizza; a. Vera Pizza Napoletana sign is proudly displayed at the front window.
Ordered takeaway. Pizza would have been good if fresh at restaurant, but was very soft by the time it got home (admittedly a 10 minute drive). That being the case the margarita, capricosa and nepolitana were delicious. Not so sure about the calabresa. Overall would go back.
Stopped in and picked up two pizzas today. Classico and the Snow White. Both brilliant and approved by all the family.! Can't wait to go back and try more
Marvelous pizzas here. Great bases， with great simple flavours. The garlic pizza was a real highlight，and one of the best we've had. The service was also really friendly. I can see this place becoming one of our italian regulars.

Creating great pizzas requires passion, and the eponymous Micheluccio is very passionate about creating an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience. On our first visit we tried the Napolitana and Prosciutto and ate them ‘Australian style’ – in slices. They were excellent. Second visit: Diavola and Ortolana eaten handheld in the traditional way – folded in half and then in half again. The traditional way is better!
If you are craving dessert, try the Nutella Dollnuts. But be warned. The menu claims that the serve is suitable for one or two. We reckon a single serve could easily satisfy as many as six.
This is Pizza done with quality ingredients - simple but special! Bursting with flavour... Loved it - we will be back again.................
Dined here on the weekend, and what can I say! The service was amazing! The food was just Devine and so tasty! The pizza I couldn't get enough of! Just wow! Then we finished off with some of their Nutella Dollnutts and white chocolate and oreo donuts! Omg! Amazing!!! Left so happy we will definitely be back!! Thank you!

The pizzas are quite nice too. The tomato base they use is great, the calabrese pizza was actually hot, which we loved.
They have a lot of specials especially for take away. It is very affordable. One pizza per person is a perfect amount.
Beautiful wood fired pizzas done in thr Napoli style, the margerita di buffala was very similar to the ones I've had in Naples. My partner had the Calabrese and it was very tasty too. Pizzaiolo Micheluccio is modern little pizza place on Toorak Road. We have never eaten in but we often get take away from here. The staff at Pizzaiolo Micheluccio give the best service we have ever received in a restaurant ever! They are always friendly and smiling, and if they make a mistake with the order, they always fix it no problems and no fuss! Once we ordered a couple of pizza's and the Pizzaiolo wasn't happy with how they turned out so he gave it to us but had also remade them so we got 2 free pizzas- fantastic, honest service. They sometimes give you few Nutella doughnuts to take home to try, if your new or just because they have them made fresh there. The pizza is amazing, authentic, fresh, delicious and light toppings. There isn't a huge range of pizzas on the menu but it's because they are all very traditional Italian Pizzas. The Nutella doughnuts are made fresh and so delicious, full of Nutella, just how they should be!
TIP: Do order the Margherita Di Buffala- Italian classic and delicious. Don't forget to try the Nutella Doughnuts!

Best pizza in Camberwell, Glen Iris, Ashburton, Malvern!!! It's worth the drive if you live in the area. We LOVE Nonna's culture that is producing the best pizza dough around. Tasty tasty thin crust authentic pizza, these guys know what they're doing. We had Nutella donuts for desert, they came out piping hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. Service was superb.
Only downside was the disco ball and discount posters everywhere, I think it cheapens the place and the ambience.
Wow I love that pizza dough. Best I've had in Melbourne. Fresh quality ingredients which I can appreciate. They say big things come in small packages and this is a cute little pizza shop but definitely fresh and modern. Owner is young and seems to put a new fresh take on a food which was created back in the 19th century. I'll be sure to return with friends. Great Job.
I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a pizza connoisseur. Thankfully Pizzaiolo Michelucci has finally brought a high quality pizza bar to the area. Fantastic bases and fresh high quality toppings. Has me thinking of my times in Rome. Keep it up guys.
Amazing pizza made with love and passion. Buffalo and Parma prosciutto starter and the bruschetta were out of this world. And then there's the traditional pane fritto with sugo (fried bread with homemade Napoli sauce) OMG to die for! The buffalo Margherita is on par with Zero95 and 400 Gradi as is the capricciosa and Napoletana. I was so overwhelmed with the flavours that I forgot to take pics!! Thank you Michael for asking me to give your place a go - it didn't disappoint! 😎
This is now my fav place for pizza! Good customer service and the pizza is absolutely amazing. Fluffy dough and fresh ingredients. Awesome nutella donuts. Make sure you call to make a booking!
Now a regular here and this place is consistent with their quality. Always look forward to the specials boards to see and try the latest creations. Highly recommended.
Looking for something to eat on a lazy Saturday night and this pops up. Put the lippy on and off we went. Well worth the effort. Mick takes huge pride in his babies - pizza and homemade sauces. But my absolute fave was the white chocolate and strawberry calzoncino!!! Congratulations on keeping up your family tradition and culture.
Found Pizzaiolo Micheluccio on Zumato and was not disappointed, all positive reviews are 100% spot on. The fresh flavored, lightness and simplicity of the pizza bases was like eating heaven. It was like how a pizza is meant to taste (makes you regret every Domino's pizza you ever ingested). Definitely worth a try, you will not be disappointed if you appreciate authentic pizza. The Nutella donuts are pretty good too.
Pizza was authentic, flavoursome and delicious. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The real winner though was the Nutella donuts. I wouldn't list donuts as one of my favourite things, but these donuts were on another level. Freshly made and piping hot with cinnamon sugar and warm Nutella inside. If you go here, they're an absolute must to try.
