Review Lulabelle's - Camberwell

Mistress Werewolf
They were kind enough to let me use the loo without buying anything. Later I came back and bought something anyway - takeaway scones. The store included cream and jam complimentary. They were absolutely delicious! My Mum and I both enjoyed them.

Really good coffee and a great ham and cheese croissant - absolutely swimming in ham! Nice collectables on the shelves and most importantly, really nice service staff. Shame I don't live around here or I'd be popping in way more often!

High Tea for two. (Yes, for two, but a glass of bubbles and a cuppa tea for three!!) The perfect way to enjoy a sunny day in lockdown 6. Thank you for brightening our day ☺️

Had a wonderful experience with Lulabelle's Cafe, who supplied scones, jam and cream for a work function I organised. We had to reschedule the event many times over a whole year due to lockdown interruptions, and they were incredibly patient and flexible at every turn. The scones were packaged carefully for transportation when I picked them up, complete with plenty of jam and cream. The scones themselves were amazing, and so many of our staff members commented on how light and fluffy and delicious they were and wanted to know where they were from! Huge thank you to Frank and the team!

The food and service is impeccable. Our family has been coming here for years and we recently hosted an afternoon tea for my sons birthday - the catering was perfect, there is room for kids to play and the owners made the day so so special.

Relaxing and we'll styled cafe with character, spacious seating and a wide range of food and great coffee. Warm atmosphere with pleasant ambient music and friendly staff make you feel welcome.

Dreadful. $10 for one very average prepacked finger sandwiches, one was just grated carrot! $10!! And $10 for a very small chicken and mayo sandwich. Ridiculous. SUCH a rip off. People will simply never return. My friend and I will not. We were trying to support a local business, but $20 for 2 ordinary sandwiches partly consisting of a pile of grated carrot?! Never again. Shame on you.

We celebrated my grandson's birthday party here. Everything was very good. Food was very satisfying and service was also very courteous.

Called into Lulabelles after a hair appointment nearby that I had gotten up early for. Coffee was my priority so grabbed strong almond latte. Made with Lavazza coffee the coffee came out a little on the cool side and though a pleasant drink lacked the strong oomph I was after. Friendly service so will have to come in and try their chicken sandwich on another visit... this comes well recommended.

A small and cosy cafe with sheltered outdoor seating with play area for little ones. Enter the cafe and see pinyatas available for sale, scrumptious cafe baked goods and home made soups. The vegetable soup was jam packed with vegetable, grains and nutrition, our fruit toast full of fruit. It was so delicious I scoffed it down and forgot to take photos! Th coffee was good but this little cubby house and toy area is what was really fantastic... itkept bubs entertained whilst we are and chatted :)

This place is a nice spot for homemade goods (scones, slices etc) and I'd see it more as a place to grab a quick coffee but unfortunately the coffee isnt that great and there are better places close by. The owner is friendly and the place has a cosy family run feel about it but the overall scene/decor isn't anything special (think kids pinatas in the windows) but they seem to have been opened for years so possibly they have some loyal customers.

Omg this place serves the best scones. Cooked fresh every morning and a choice of plain or with dates. Friendly serve and always makes you feel welcome. I've been here a number of times now and haven't been disappointed yet.

Just an average cafe, average food, small selection, nothing special, not much room inside, sat on white wooden hard chairs & I just didn't feel comfortable. Not cheap either. Give it a miss & keep on driving, there is much better just up the road in Camberwell.

We were out & about a couple of weeks ago & found this place by accident. All we wanted was a sandwich & coffee, seen a 'bakery' advertising fresh sandwiches so we parked, went across the road & was told "we don't do sandwiches", heads down we walked back across the road & as I looked up I layed eye's on a sign inside a coffee shop saying 'Fresh Sandwiches' so in we went where we were met with a smile & that beautiful smell of coffee. Our sandwiches were made to order & while we were eating lunch the people on the next table got their order which was fresh scones with Jam & Cream, it looked so good we ordered a serve & they were as good as they looked. We will definitely be back, in fact, I have day dreamed about those scones quite often so the sooner we go back the better.

I travelled across Melbourne to meet a friend at this cafe because it was listed as 'child friendly'.Sticking a few computing books and lolly pops around does not make you a child friendly cafe!We chose to sit outside in the courtyard so my daughter could move around. It was filthy & my daughter cut her foot in a shard of glass that was on the ground. The staff couldn't have cared less. Will never return.

My family has been going to lullabelles for years now and are now finding that we are being overcharged by the owner every time. Really disappointed and the coffee used to be good but now disgusting! I have brought so much business to this place and now will go elsewhere! Disappointed!

I recently visited this cafe and saw a High Tea being prepared. It looked amazing and while drinking my beautiful latte could enjoy the finesse and detail that was put into the food and decorations!!! I'll definitely be back for lunch and perhaps a sneaky high tea!

Massively kid friendly. Special kids room for mums to eat at upstairs. Brilliant! Food yum and fresh too!

Great coffee!. Best coffee in the area, i have had lattes and mochas from there and they are awesome! also had an incredible homemade banana muffin with whipped maple icing - only went in to grab a coffee but had to get one of those when i saw it!

Best cupcakes. All the food is homemade and delicious. The owner Louisa makes cakes and cupcakes to order and they're the best I've ever tasted. Coffee is terrific and so cheap! They have a catering menu, high teas, multiple rooms for privacy and great facilities for kids. A wonderful allrounder cafe with staff that seem proud to work there. Definatly worth a visit, especially for Lou's ricotta pancakes on Saturdays.

Best scone ever!. One day while running late for work I was desperate for a coffee n ended up on toorak road.
The cutest cafe was waiting for me n the owners were so chirpy that morning. Had a scone n mocca t/a .. Best idea I've ever had.
The scone was hot n soft n they gave me jam n cream on the side. Awesome coffee n kick start to my day.

Today I drove a long way just for that scone n coffee n it is just as good as it was the first time.
I LOVE this cafe!
As for the owners.. They r only human n if u got them in a grumpy mood that is a shame cause they have both been super friendly both times I've met them and I'm not a regular...yet : )

I wouldn't go there if I didn't have children but a nice option if you do.

Cafe with a lovely feel. Good coffee and can't wait to try the food - all seems to be home made. May even be tempted to buy and try some of the many sweets on display. Makes me feel like I am in a doll house for grown-ups. Nice place!

I felt that the guy owner was pretty rude. I was trying to buy some giftware and he didn't have anything immediate to wrap it in. He had me wait while he served a lot of other people and people who came in after me. Didn't love it much. Cute name tho.

Good coffee (when the guy owner makes it) but a little over priced. Had better cup cakes in the past but there chicken & rocket sandwiches are the best!!! Really nice setting & have some nice (small) giftware to buy as well.

The coffee is good and the store is cute, however, the male owner can be pretty rude/grumpy to non-regular customers.

Really cute atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee, lovely cakes too!

Great coffee, tasty baked delights. Serving up nice coffee and offering various baked delights that change from day to day. Also, do nice breakfasts. Kid friendly location, with an outdoors area where you can eat, while the kids play in the little cubby house or doodle on the blackboard. There is also an upstairs room, where you can go with your kids upon request.
