Very chill cafe, staffs are efficient and friendly. However, coffee and finger food is a lil off. It is definitely a place to chill if you need a peaceful environment. Overall, its a good experience.
Cute little suburb cafe! Great coffee and very friendly service, although a little slow on Saturday morning. I got the toastie and it was amazing! Definitely worth checking out.
Simply cooked but delicious Cafe meals! My fav would have to be their coffee and service with a smile everyday. I’m just confused as to why they would be closed on a Saturday. Would definitely go back!
Great place to have breakfast! Friendly staff - tailored my breakfast to what I needed. The plate was a work of art and it tasted amazing. Coffee great - made the way I wanted (almond). Big tv screen showing a continuous loop of funny cat YouTube videos. Will come here again.
Have been a number of times for lunch and the Coffee is great, the staff are sensational and have a great attitude. They are really trying hard to grow their business. Food looks good but I’ve mainly had salads which are fresh and delicious. Well worth a visit.
I found a new cafe in camberwell its cute and yellow. So bright and stands out. Its well styled. Lovely service here however the coffee and food was very average indeed

New place on Burke Rd, close to the 72 tram stop. Clean and bright space with lovely staff! Had lunch inside with my sister after walking past, but they have a good selection of takeaway food on display too.
The menu is reasonably priced but on the smaller side, it includes all the standard brunch dishes with a few sweeter treats. French toast and pancakes look like highlights but unfortunately I just had my tonsils out so my food options were limited. :( The corn fritters were nice enough, a little bland but very tonsillectomy friendly haha. Sister said coffee was great so will be coming back to try!
Overall nothing to write home about, but good food and service so definitely worth a visit if you're a local! Not many food options in this particular strip & Bakers Wife is usually very busy and noisy, so if you're looking for a quieter place to actually have a proper catch up or a quick takeaway I would recommend checking Best Mates out :)
(PS. They also have an early bird $2 coffee special between 7-9am!)

Had takeaway coffee here. Very warm staffs and my coffee was beautiful! I will definitely recommend the coffee. The interior is clean and neat, nothing really over top. It’s a cozy place.
Nice coffee. Bright and light decor. Haven't had food here yet but the menu is interesting looking and a good mixture of healthy and more indulgent items.

My family had a lovely, relaxing breakfast in the sunny courtyard. The meals were generous and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient.

Friendly service, clean, pleasant decor. The food was slightly worse though. The corn fritters were bland and wet and the breakfast roll was pretty much as advertised, great chips though.
If I came back I'd try their lunch options as their brunch/breakfast menu was very plain.
Great owner. Great Ice Coffee. A shame about the Hazelnut Milkshake hope it comes back soon. But overall a lovely break from the heat. Thank you so much.
