Review Pizza Co - Camberwell

Love this pizza place. Family deal is amazing value. Feeds two of us for three meals! Pizzas have great variety and the dough is absolutely delish.

Be very careful when placing an online order…..they offer deliver & pickup, however when they have no drivers your ‘delivery’ order reverts to pickup without you being alerted. This is is 2nd time this has happened……not happy after your order is 1/2 hour late so you ring, get no apology about their online ordering system being user unfriendly then have to drive & pick up your cold pizza.

I have recommended this place a lot of times, I thought it was the best pizza place in the area. Although, last two times I’ve had it it’s been quite poor. Seafood is a bit off, Diablo has Tabasco and isn’t as good, maybe it’s tough times, maybe it’s new management. Watch this space.

Delivery driver wasn’t given half of our order. never really apologised on phone, just told it to complain to Uber to get our money back. Pizzas not great, pretty rubbery cheese, at least it was cheap!

Top notch gourmet pizzas from The Pizza Co. generous toppings and great flavour from the Mediterranean and BBQ chicken options. One of the best options in Camberwell

Today, 26.10.2019, I went to this Italian pizza restaurant with my family for dinner, ordered some drinks and Marinara.House specil, margherita, hawaiian tastes are good, the price is reasonable, a total of six only $90, so Recommended.

The pizzas are pretty good but literally every time you order and they tell you how long, they are 20 minutes minimum slower. So frustrating.

we stopped using these people 12 months ago because their service was so bad (we had to wait 2 hours for our delivery order as they forgot) so we thought to give them another try and it happened again! tonight we have asked for a refund and have to go in store to get it tomorrow. absolutely fed up and would not recommend. do not go to pizza co!

The pizzas here were flavourful and deliciously crispy, and a welcome change from the many woodfired pizzas all around town. Combined with friendly service, and you've got a winner of a restaurant

Ordered a Margherita for delivery. It's not great pizza, but it's good - and definitely decent for a cheaper option. Not sure about the other varieties but if you're ordering something as simple as some Napoli and cheese, it's hard to go wrong.

I must remember this place from now on. The Pizza Co’s pizza was delicious and my grandparents couldn’t fault it. They loved it. Garlic bread was very garlicky and delicious, only fault was that it was a bit small for $4. No issues with the delivery at all.

The worst place that I have ever ordered from, waited 1 1/2 hours for the wrong order, only to phone and be so insulted by the as i was told "owner", which I highly doubt how rude and insulting she was to me, I will never ever order form here again, please go elsewhere, i will certainly tell my friends and family to go elsewhere.Plenty of other pizza places around that do not insult me when i order. i am so insulted

Had a pepperoni and Hawaiian. Both were wonderful! Crust is nice and crispy and the sauce is lovely. Out of the two, I preferred the pepperoni because the meat they used melted in my mouth. Would highly recommend this place and it'll now be my go to pizza place.

This place should be a 5/5 for their pizzas which have great thin bases and really fresh ingredients. However I can only give them a 4/5 because they are a little mean with the amount of meats cheese veggies on the pizzas and there is quite a large gap between the topping and outside of the pizza. If they could fix this I will upgrade to 5/5.

By far the worst pizza ever I ORDERED HALF AND HALF NO ANCHOVIES ADD PINEAPPLE what they said is no that’s Uber fault not mine YELLING AT ME DOWN THE PHONE. Even know we make it we don’t know what you ordered well make makes sense 🤨. DONT EAT HEAR AND DONT ORDER ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE THE YOUNG LADY WITH MASSIVE ATTITUDE told me who are you to question me. Lol never again

Good pizza the margarita is really nice and if your in the area you should check it out. The staff are friendly and the dining options are pretty good.

This place is awesome. Run by incredibly lovely people who were very accommodating and generous, and their food is incredible, well presented and some of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. Great vibe, solid tunes, and great value for money. Will definitely be returning, and highly recommended!

Edited: January 2018<br/>Had to stop ordering from here - the mistakes became too plentiful, flavours dropped away and they just couldn't seem to get the pizzas out to us in a timely fashion.  Very disappointing.<br/>Rating downgraded.<br/><br/>Original Review.Rated 3.5.<br/> Ordered from here several times over the last few months.<br/>Quality-wise they are very consistent and the pizzas are some of the tastiest I've had, considering that they're not stacked high with toppings (which is my preference) or with a particularly thick base (my other preference).<br/><br/>I have a couple of issues, though:<br/>1. Mistakes have been made with the pizzas - requested changes not made, and in one case a default ingredient (salami) was left off entirely and in another case on a pizza that was to have no olives, I found two.<br/>2. The uncovered crust area is quite large.<br/>3. Prices are a little on the high side.<br/>4. The olives are highly variable and not great.<br/>5. There's not nearly enough cheese on the default pizza.

Service, decor and quality pizzas make this local a great choice if you are around the area. No booking required which made it appealing and the garlic bread went down a treat.

Ordered 3 large pizzas on ubereats and was surprised for how big and tasty they were! Good flavours and heaps of cheese - exactly what you want on a pizza!

A really good down to earth pizza restaurant with fantastic pricing for this side of town. My favorite here is the marinara pizza and nutella for desert. The staff are kind and not careless either, good job guys!

Busy place with Good pizza - quality toppings and the eat in option is good too. Beautiful flowers and the kitchen while full of people pumping out pizzas seems to function smoothly.

We had the pleasure of being invited to try The Pizza Co in Camberwell. We all had a craving for pizza on a cold Melbourne evening so it was perfect timing.<br/><br/>Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff.<br/><br/>We started with a beautifully presented antipasto platter which included mouth watering prosciutto and salami, red peppers, gherkins and a variety of cheeses including pecorino.<br/><br/>Once this was devoured we tucked into two of the Il Padrone range pizzas - Rocket and Prosciutto and the Traditional Margherita.<br/><br/>The Rocket and Prosciutto was topped with tomato, mozzarella, fresh prosciutto with glazed rocket, a dash of garlic and Parmesan.<br/><br/>The Traditional Margherita was topped with tomato, buffalo mozzarella, olive oil, cracked pepper and torn basil.<br/><br/>Both were equally tasty and the pizza bases were light and non greasy leaving you bloat free!<br/><br/>Then my favourite part of the dining experience came....dessert!<br/><br/>We ordered the unique Salted Caramel Calzone, and what a treat!<br/><br/>The calzone was cut in bite sized pieces, filled with salted caramel and topped with ice cream and caramel sauce and icing sugar. It was a sight for sore eyes and it was delicious.<br/><br/>The verdict?<br/><br/>We would highly recommend this restaurant for its very welcoming and friendly service which offers you high quality delicious pizzas including other Italian dishes and great value for money.<br/><br/>The restaurant also does do deliveries which is of the same high standard. Made a phone order and was told it will be 40 minutes.  "No problem!" I said and rocked up 40 minutes later to pickup my pizza.  I was told "That will be 6 minutes" to which I again responded "No problem!" After 20 minutes I asked where my pizza was only to find it wasn't even in the oven.  Needless to say I asked for a refund and left empty handed. Now it's a problem because I'm hungry!!!

Amazing pizza and fabulous pasta! I love this place. It's quick easy and cheap. Best pizza in Melbourne! Take away can take a bit so prepare to wait, but dinning in is a treat🙌🏽

Tasty pizza! We ordered the garlic prawn and pesto chicken, half half. Take note- this is there old menu and prices have risen and they charge for half half pizzas now. Friendly service with a smile :)

Fairly standard pizza place offering a range of traditional and gourmet pizzas. We tried the Mediterranean pizza which came with lamb, capsicum, tomato, feta cheese, oregano and yoghurt. We also shared the Mexicana which was topped with pepperoni, tomato, olives, onion and chilli. Both pizzas had a nice thin and crispy base but I personally preferred the Mediterranean as the toppings were more generous and it wasn't quite as spicy.

We went to a place.. looked at menu.. saw few pizzas come out... got scared and did a runner. Haha! So then we found this place ... We ordered the boss and a Hawaiian with salami both size small. Waited not long for our meals. They were very generous sizes as it was more like a medium.Very satisfying! Thin , crispy base with a great flavour! Perfect amount of saltiness and the tomatoe base was beautiful also. Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly. This was one NON oily pizza and one we would come back for. If i could pick on one thing it's just that the Hawaiian could of done with a bit more pinaple.. we ate everything! Coming back you ask? Yes! Yes I am!

Amazing food! Had the veggie pizza. They were so lovely. We had our dog with us and they let us sit in the courtyard with him and even put the heater on out here for us. They were so friendly and accomidating. Best customer service I've had in a very long time. The food was delicious and portions are huge!

Absolutely delicious! The Pizza base was perfect,  not too thick or thin.  We had an aussie and pepperoni and I must say the best Aussie Pizza I have ever had.  I love the fresh and quality ingredients that they use.  Will definitely order from them again.

Consistently awesome pizza near home! Marinara is my pizza of choice from Pizza Co. The people that run this venue know what they are doing and are extremely nice, they also care about what they do and what they create. Pizza bases are exceptional, we eat in and take away depending on how we feel...

Great pizza here, although it is a bit expensive. But in saying that the pizzas are fantastic and fresh! The staff here are very friendly as well.

Great pizzas. Reasonable but not extensive choice of toppings. Slightly pricy for the size of a large but delicious none the less. I find the wait is usually about half an hour for pickup on the weekend. Good local pizza place. Recommend

The pizzas are lovely and the lasagna was also really good. Delivery took 2 hours but it was a busy Friday night so understandable, just wish they'd called instead of making us chase it up.

Ok. So not only are these guys hands down the best pizza delivery in camberwell, but the customer service is second to none. Tonight i mistakenly ordered pickup rather than delivery. When i didnt show for pick up (right on closing time) rob called and delivered my<br/> pizza straight to my door, and wouldnt accept payment for delivery! The food here is great but the service forced me to write a review. Cant recommend enough.

This is our go to pizza place. Most of the pizzas on the menu are great, but we have a soft corner for the meat lovers and. 3 cheese and herbs. Make sure to add on fresh chillies...

It's a surprisingly beautiful place. The sitting is-for a pizza place- truely romantic. Nice wooden tables with a private sitting at the back. This place infact has a private open sitting too. The paintings,the lights, the wall colour all look just perfect. AND THE PIZZAS taste good too. It perhaps one of the best places to eat a really good VEGETARIAN pizzas. You generally don't get good veg pizzas but this place has the best ones. The use of fresh chillies instead of chilli flakes makes it a lot fresher. The feta cheese was really of a good quality.<br/>It's worth visiting this place.

Really tasty pizzas, great local. Good pizza deal on Wednesdays. The pepperoni pizza is a winner as are the gourmet range. The lamb pizza is unique and delicious.

The pizzas we got were quite tasty. We also got the nutella calzone which took a while to come out and when it did the ice cream was frozen. The seating areas were nice. The service was hardly there. The water was difficult to obtain. Overall an average experience. I'd go back to try the other pizzas but not a priority on my list.

Best gluten free base - and best pizza. All my dreams came true tonight. After learning that I'm allergic to wheat it has been a good pizza base that I've missed the most. <br/>To get a great crispy, light, base AND a great topping has made my day, my year! ☺ so happy.

Really great overall. Ordered meat lovers and vegeterian and both were great! Not the best pizza I've ever had but it rates high. Delivery was prompt and delivery man (Anthony) was pleasant and efficient. Will have again!

Speak the Truth - The Pizza Co makes great pizza. Chicken on a vegetarian pizza!!! - your review would be more accurate if it said that you found 1 small piece of chicken on my vegetarian pizza - I was in the restaurant happily eating my pizza when you arrived and your academy award performance interrupted me - SERIOUSLY!!! how hard was it to just pick it off!! It's not as though the whole vegetarian pizza was covered in chicken - then you would have cause to put on such a performance - I felt sorry for your partner who looked totally embarrassed - the staff kept apologising and trying to rectify the matter but you were being unreasonable - I'm a regular customer at The Pizza Co I can assure you the pizzas are perfect each time.

Chicken on a vegeterian pizza. I will NEVER go back to this pizza place again!! I am a vegeterian so ordered a vegeterian pizza.. got home and starting eating and then I realised that there was bits of chicken on my pizza!! I am absolutely disgusted and feel sick to my stomach. I called immediately and asked them what was on the pizza and asked why there was chicken on it? They said they were sorry and there must have been a mix up and that they could make me another one.. I said no I want my money back.. I was definitely NOT going to get another one from them. I went back with the pizza and they confirmed it was chicken. Apparently they keep it next to the mushrooms and it must have accidentally mixed?? I really don't care, to me that's poor food handling!! If you have any dietary requirements then I would advise not to go here as who knows what you're gonna get..

I only found out 1 month ago that I lived 3 streets away and I have definitely been missed out. Reasonable priced and amazing taste! Best pizza I've had in a long long time! I go at least once a week seriously worth trying amazing and the staff are so friendly !

AMAZING! I'm new to the area and I have owned pizza bars on and off for 20+ years. We ordered 5 different pizzas off the menu to try a variety. Every single one of them was delicious. I've tried all the other pizza shops in the area (pizza religion included) and this place is by far the best. Great base, fresh tipping and just oozing with flavor. I have now found my local. Keep up the great work guys.

Leaving with a big smile. We found ourselves a bit lost while in Camberwell, but Page & family made the best of those days there. It's not just the pizzas, which trust me will amaze you as how varied and tasty they are... The service and excellent mood of the PizzaCo Family will make the whole experience the best around town. Authentic pizza, amazing service. Cant beat these pizzas - yum- or the service - genuine. I walked to the shop last week with my dogs to pre-order some pizzas for Sunday evening with friends. Not only were the pizzas as good as some of the other reviewers said, but they brought out some water for my dogs! So sweet. Everyone enjoyed the pizzas, from starter to seafood. Base amazing, ideal thickness and great tomato sauce. Perfect amount of quality topping, not greasy and not too cheesy. Menu comprehensive without gimmicks - basic favourites and some "exotic". Waited all week to eat more - just finished. This time drove around (even though they have delivery) and a wonderful guy carried the pizza to my car and because I ordered so many, threw in some garlic bread. So far 2 out of 2 visits perfect. Thanks for bringing "Lygon st quality" pizza to my neighbourhood and good luck.-vv

Fun and amazing. My experience here was extraordinary! These guys are fun happy and very polite. They remember me after 2 visits. They are extremely tasty pizzas and with a wide range I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu

Wow amazing! Been there many times now. The only way to judge. Everyone has a bad day. Never had one here. Pizza religion for the locals has nothing on this place. Real pizza base. If you want pita that's fine but we are talking pizza here. And fresh, quality and service. Amazing. I am happy to go head to head if this isn't one of the best pizzas in Melbourne. And no I don't work there or know the owners. If you know anything about quality ingredients, pizza bases or service. This is one of the best.

Why go to Pizza & Co when Pizza Religion is a 5 minute drive away. Order the lamb pizza at each place and you will clearly see a massive quality difference. If Pizza Religion is a 9/10, this place is a 5/10.

Amazing menu range to cater for all taste buds. The Tandoori Chicken and the Mediterranean with Greek yoghurt are both mouth watering. So refreshing having quality Italian in the area. Great family run business with a very cool ambiance.

Pizza solved. Our search for a real Italian pizza co is now over. We tried this new one and are hooked. Choices galore and ambience score well but what really matters is delivery of authentic Italian pizza just like we tasted in Napoli. Interesting menu choices make selecting hard. We had Medittaranean - delicious !. Roberto & Fay are just as pleasant and good value for $$ spent. It is now our favourite.
