Review Carpark Cafe Camberwell - Camberwell

Kings Acai Australia - Wholesaler
In the heart of Camberwell, easy parking and super cozy place. The staff are always smiling and the atmosphere is super cool. The coffee is always spot on and wow for the salmon noodles, the salmon was cooked perfectly nd the combination with the healthy noodles was delicious. But it doesn't stop there, my partner choose the Chicken Slap burger and OMG, the schnitzel was super soft and crispy. I could eat the Chicken by itself, super tasty! To complete it we have nice mimosas...super tasty! Highly recommended. Well done Chefs!

If this is how they do lockdown, I’m looking forward to eating in. We just got a couple of cold pressed juices, apple and OJ, and a coffee. I was totally impressed with their service. Very friendly and quick. A bit of music while we waited too which was fun. Easy access from the back rather than off Burke rd.

Table and restaurant were dirty. Service was terrible. The food was more than disappointing and $20 for a schnitzel made with cheap bread roll and plastic cheese is overpriced! Coffee was bad too!

Nice interior and outer design. Love their logo ‘MOB’ sign. Their tuna slap sandwiches seems little bit greasy and oily. But coffee is good!

Disgusting coffee which was crazy overpriced. $7.32 for a tiny oat milk coffee. Will not ever be coming back here. Never been somewhere so overpriced before and this seems to be a recurring theme through other reviews. Skip this place and head anywhere else.

Service is TERRIBLE! Ignored by staff while waiting to be seated then told we needed to order using QR code on their website. Making the customers do the work and quite frankly I don’t want the hassle of navigating a website to order our breakfast. I want to use the time to enjoy the people I’m with. Then the website asks for a tip! For what? They haven’t given any service to warrant a tip. The food order was wrong, and once we got correct order it was cold. Coffees didn’t come out until we had almost finished our food. This is a business looking to save costs, not provide the customer with an pleasant experience. A shame, it used to be a favourite of ours when we came to the markets.

The food is good, but either the staff are untrained, or there are no processes in place for what they need to do to get people seated. The Mr Yum app is understandable for a large pub, but not for a cafe where you seat people at their tables. You also need to make sure you get people water as soon as they're seated. Every time I come here, I have to get up and find a staff member to ask them to bring me water. Please get rid of Mr Yum and train your staff.

While I understand that it was a public holiday when I went, paying 7.32 after card fees seems a little exorbitant for a regular oat latte. While the atmosphere of the location is nice and it is in a a good spot with nice open architecture, that is where the positives end. They are far too expensive for the quality of the coffee. I'd expect to pay that at a specialty coffee location, not a Camberwell cafe surrounded by better competition.
