I ordered the Buddha bowl which was delicious. The kids ordered the generous vegetarian bento which they loved. Would order from then again.

Friendly staff, accommodated special request with menu. Good menu although some options were slightly pricier (including the massive bentos served on wooden boards). Great presentation and food tasted great! No obvious name sign from outside, just look for the wooden fence decoration behind the window.

Has no idea this place was here. Service was great. Need to go back and try some other things. Nice to go to a Japanese restaurant run by Japanese people

Food very fresh and tasty ..this real Japanese taste .

Food is not bad my order has been wrong before. Ordering online is very annoying, having to sign up and pay a processing fee. Ramen on the website shows two types of ramen which are exactly the same in the description but different in price.

I had no idea this place was here. Service was great. Need to go back and try some other things. Nice to go to a Japanese restaurant run by Japanese people. The love for their culture the people have here is what made my experience great!

So refreshing to see a Japanese restaurant that doesn’t just serve the same as most other Japanese. The expected staples are there, but also some interesting alternatives. Cheap and cheerful, but not boring. Recommended.

Cosy little restaurant with good service. Food was fully worth the price and nicely presented. Had the sakura bento box and was not disappointed! Will go again.

Not impressed with this place even though someone recommended it. One of the order was a chicken dish which had more fat than meat and could not be eaten. Any restaurant that cooks like that is not one that values quality. I had the fish which was again the cheapest cut and there was very little or no flavour on it. Will not go again.

Ordered delivery from here. Went straight to the bin. Uneatable food, I can’t say anything good about any of the items that were delivered. The fish tasted off and the seasoned was most certainly not fresh. Avoid

Great authentic flavours.
We both ordered the Sakura Bento which surprised us by coming on a board not a box and looked amazing. Freshly made, delicious. Very filling. We will be back to try more of the goodness.

Great food, everything I have tried has been excellent. Delivery on uber eats is solid and eating in is lovely too. These guys run a very solid outfit. Try the katsu curry, unagi, Sakura bento, or anything else on their extensive menu

We've only ordered takeaway from Momoya so I can't say much else other than the food is delicious! I struggle to find vegetarian Japanese dishes, and this place is heaven for me! I love the Bao, the gyozas, and the curries.

We came here for dinner, the atmosphere is so nice and relaxing. It’s a small shop but the dishes this place produces are so simple and filling. +1 for value, +1 for vibes and +2 for food. Will definitely be coming back.

So underrated!! I come every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday because I work nearby. They always surprise me no matter what I order. The portion is great and comes with miso soup or salad if you order don. Their ice matcha and green tea ice cream are good too! The staff are Japanese and they are super friendly. Would love to come for dinner one day!

Had a quick weekday lunch as the lunch menu (which is a cut down version of dinner - the waitress said that because they only have 2 people manning the place at lunch time) was very reasonably priced (also cheaper than dinner version). I had the stapled Japanese Café chicken teriyaki rice bowl with salad. Recommend it. It was also relatively cheap for what you get. Friendly service and there are a couple of tables outside if you want to bring along a dog or two on your way to/from walking in the park. I ordered the homemade lemonade and it was surprisingly amazing with lots of fresh muddled lemon and mint - looks and tastes like a mocktail from a fancy city bar. Will be back for dinner. The Buddha Bowls (not available at lunch) looks really good. PS Cash only.

To say I'm delighted by this new resident on Through Road is an understatement. It's a tiny little Japanese eatery with a few small tables but it appears much of its trade comes from takeaway orders. One of my personal faves is the mixed tempura meal. It has two sizeable tempura prawns and two sizeable whiting among tempura vegetables. The meal packs come with little side veggie dishes. This time around it was vermicelli salad and sauteed cabbage.

I was similarly impressed with their more healthier offerings (read, not involving the deep fryer). My salmon fillet meal was very substantial. It came on a bed of roasted veggies as well as the side serves of veggies that come with all their meal packs. Yum.

On another occasion I sampled their Buddha bowl with brown rice and felt all virtuous. This was lovingly prepared with so many different elements - edamame beans, avocado, red cabbage, seaweed, veggie chips, teriyaki tofu, corn, celery, carrots.

I ordered in some sushi from here through menulog - most fantastic delivery sushi I've ever had. I got the large moriawase sushi platter which cost me $36.50. It was a large platter, with beautifully prepared, well presented nigiri sushi, with an exceptionally generous supply of wasabi and soy sauce offered. For $35, it's a steal - I absolutely recommend this place for delivery sushi, and I'll definitely be ordering again.
