Had a very good time here, have been here a lot, great coffee and cakes, and wonderful service as well 😀

Went here today and purchased a black forest cake, red velvet slice and 2 lattes. They were all delicious. How amazing is the service! I felt very welcomed and I was acknowledged as soon as I entered the store. The barista also wished me a good day ahead. I will be visiting often. Such great attention to customers is hard to come by.

Great location, it's near the Camberwell Sunday Market and train station. I often go there for breakfast when visiting the market on Sunday. Staffs are friendly, and coffee is always superb. Only pity that they don't serve cooked breakfast. So not many options for a lovely brunch.

We have always found the service for our Meetup group to be great and look forward to coming back after the lock-down. Are you open for business again?

Simply outstanding cakes, pastries and biscuits. Good coffee and on my visits very warm, friendly service. The location is good too, it's nice to be away from Bourke Road. It's not cheap, and there are better choices not far away for a genuine coffee connoisseur experience. But for coffee and cake, Brunetti is hard to beat.

Friendly service. Great coffee. Sure the cakes are not as decorated ---- but I have tasted both Brunetti and the new suppliers cakes --- and the new suppliers cakes are superior in taste and texture. Keep up the good work guys!!!!

Always friendly. Their coffee is great and well made. Great selection of cakes and biscuits. Best buy is the toastie and coffee.

I had red velvet cake and soy latte, the cake taste like it’s been there for at least 2 days, and the coffee was very watery.

Food average, shop seems dirty, had a lemon tart it was inedible, I am guessing it was 2 or more weeks old, it should not have been for sale.
Lift your game will never go back

This place used to be Brunetti where I bought many delicious Black Forest cakes. Now it operates as Angelucci. I bought another BF cake last week and it turned out to be absolutely terrible.. in fact not edible... cake, cream, chocolate atrocious and taste sickly sweet.. I would not recommend this place to my enemy.. Cakes are NOT made by Brunetti anymore... They refused to give me a refund...

Friendly service great coffee! I have been a regular for months now! The staff are always up for a friendly chat and the outside area is dog friendly. Soup from Tuesday to Sunday and ice cream in summer. What could be better?
Nice service, great looking cafe, reasonably priced coffee and I even got a complementary biscuit. Coffee is something that'll either be smooth and tasty or bitter and horrible. This was definitely the former. Also, they only charge $0.05 for soy, as opposed to $0.5 in some places. I'll be coming here more often.

Sitting on the site of what was previously Brunetti's Camberwell, this cafe still does well for serving a great latte and selling cakes made by Brunetti's. A great outdoor space which one can take full advantage of during nicer weather.

Worst customer service experience in my life!! Go there if you enjoy rude service. We got served by this woman who was very unhappy with her life and were kicking us out of the shop one hour before their closing time. When we asked why they are closing the shop this early she said she can't waste her time with us. We were very disappointed and the experience ruined our evening. In case the manager reads this, the rude lady's photo is attached.

Went there on Sun evening. The Cafe meant to be open till 6 but the staff started packing since 5:10pm. They turned the deck's heater off and packed all the outdoor furniture. We've been freezing outside so at about 5:45 I asked them if they're still open and one of the staff said yes, we're open till 6pm. So I told her I feel uncomfortable, everything's packed, you don't look open. There was a bucket of water on the floor and everything was packed. As I mentioned that the staff started bullying me and said I'm wasting my time explaining to you. You're causing trouble. We have to go home at 6:30pm. Well... She was so rude and seems serving customer at this shop is wasting time. In a city like Melbourne full of great Cafes and restaurants this sort of service won't get them anywhere.

Terrible costumer service .

Turned the heater off in the outside area one hour before closing at 6 on Sunday and started to pack the chairs from 5:10.

When asked about he trading hours the female staff started to insulting us .

Came to have our cakes for our Saturday afternoon chill out on the beach with dear friend Helen , had a raspberry cake , a royal, a opera. Can't wait to have our sunny afternoon tea on the beach 😁

Previously a Brunetti outlet - Angelucci has new staff but the same good Brunetti cakes. Staff are very friendly and happy to make recommendations were Brunetti staff were reluctant. Not much has changed aside from the improved service under the new owners.

The other day I went to Angelucci in Camberwell. Now I know that they used to be Brunettis and they still sell Brunettis products so not sure why the different name? Slightly confusing when trying to review haha. Located on Prospect hill road Angelucci is surrounded by lush green trees which makes it a nice change to the government buildings that surround it. Just a small walk from the train station it is easy to find and a perfect setting for a summers day.

What's happened??. So different now. Scolding hot coffee. Grumpy staff. Commercial radio playing. It use to be so 'Italian'. Never again for me.

To recharge, i dragged my two shopping partners to Brunetti's (PASTRIES! :D I can have them for breakfast lunch dinner supper no kidding!) despite our lunch reservation shortly after at Maze by Gordon Ramsay! :)

Love the new changes!. I have been a regular to Camberwell Brunetti's for quite a while now. Certainly over the past month or so I have noticed some new faces behind the counter. The new staff are smiling and very helpful, a refreshing change at the venue. Unlike at the other Brunetti's franchises I have been to, the standard of service is much more personable and coffees are delivered straight to the table rather than my coffee order merely becoming another number in the line, shouted over the counter. I believe the change to drop coffees to below $4 has been warmly welcomed by the community and the panini's look fresher than before? I think the changeover of management/ownership of the Camberwell Brunetti's has definitely had a positive impact. I'll be there for my Strong Flat White in the morning!

Typical rude service; need staff replacement. Stood around being ignored for like ten minutes waiting to order... girl with the glasses just sat back, did nothing... pretty pathetic really, and I consider myself to be a patient person.

$5.70 for a coffee what a joke and we got 2/3 full on the large. Go to prospect hill coffee shop or George's for great coffee and great prices and great service. Again $5.70 for a coffee what a rip off
Vlad
Excellent coffee!!!!!! But a bit disappointed I can't get a loyalty card considering I buy a coffee everyday... Every time I ask for a card they say they are out......

Good. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I love their small sampler cakes and they are usually pretty friendly.

Expensive, weak coffee and rude Maitre D. Went for a coffee with my husband. He ordered and paid for a large coffee which tasted like flavoured milk - when I discreetly asked the Barista to make it stronger, he was fine, but the maître d decided to intervene, loudly calling me "madam" and telling me if I wanted it stronger to ask for it that way in the first place. Given there are so many excellent cafes in Camberwell who have good coffee and friendly staff we will not be going back again.

Never disappointed. I am never disappointed when visiting Brunetti in Melbourne. Always quality food and friendly customer service. Definitely one of my favourite places. The only negative comment is that the Flinders street cafe doesn't have as much variety as some of the other stores. Otherwise food is always amazing!!

Poor Service. Brunetti Camberwell's Coffee' nice but the counter staff have a problem. The lady at the counter noticed my arrival (9.30am 9/1/2014) then turned her back on me and made up another customer's breakfast. The lady at the Coffee' counter was too engaged in a conversation to assist, another lady was casually cleaning tables. The lady at the order counter did eventually say sorry for the delay but it was really unwelcoming and unprofessional service. I was the only customer to take an order from but the staff were not really interested.
Nataschab
Cookie. Grumpy rude service people - two of them! If you don't want to work in a service industry then don't. Learn to deal with the mistakes you make and your customers objections to them... you've ruined our whole Brunetti experience, after all you are the "face" of the business (no matter how unhappy you seem to be working there).
Fiona
Carlton's poor cousin. Don't bother with the Camberwell branch. No atmosphere. Snooty staff. Mediocre selection. Noisy interior. At least they now bring your drinks to your table. But really, don't bother.

Always good, quick service. Great coffee and food. Caters to kids - with highchairs and a nice heated outdoor area.

Too Expensive. I recently went to Brunetti Camberwell and was shocked by the coffee price and no chocolate on Cappucino (if you want chocolate dusting you have to ask for it). I dont think I will be back. Coffee not that nice either.
Eros Mitsoulas
Nice sweets but too expensive. Meanwhile the ice cream is GOOD!!!!
Johnny Craig
$6 for a mediocre milkshake and a $4 cappuccino without any chocolate. Haven't tried the food cos I'm not a millionaire and can't afford it. Apart from that, I highly recommend it
HungryBear
Food was yummy and so was the latte. Only problem was that it wasn't busy and it took 30 mins for them to bring the coffee. Witness the weakness...
Kwenton Bellette
Disgusting unpassionate food, brings shame to the Carlton store. Watery Un-coffee and stale but overly moist pastries, yuck
Jacques
Unhappy. We were happy customers of Brunetti in the past. Recently for 2 birthdays we booked cakes: one Royal and one Flourless chocolate souffle. Royal is a famous cake in France and the French Pastry Chef was able to do it properly until now. This time, obviously the quality has dropped considerably. Regarding the souffle, we ordered it so we were expecting having a fresh cake. While cutting it we discovered it was still frozen!
Unacceptable. We gave Brunetti a second chance, but this time: it's done. We're investigating to find another reliable supplier. Brunetti won't see us anymore.

Disappointing. I am a big fan of brunetti. But this branch somehow dont seem to hold its standards. The macaroons should be sold as meringues. I paid $25 for 9 different flavours, and only 2 of it tastes near a macaroon. The service was slow. And the dessert selection is poor compare to the carlton's branch. From now on, i will be going to the Carlton's Brunetti for my sugar fix.
Boccadellaveritas
Ciao Bella. They have just updated service model which improves customer experience. They actually bring your order to the table now. However, the Carlton connection can not carry this cafe over the line. The produce is great as is the coffee, location and outside seating is good, but the service is all wrong and so are the staff. Premium price for bad service.

Rubbish. For starters these guys charge you if you use eftpos!

Food terrible and well and truley overpriced.
Coffee average.

Very embarrassing considering Brunettis in Carlton was once an institution.

Hopefully they close up Camberwell so a decent cafe could move in as the location has so much potential.

Service is not good!
Jonathon Sciola
I like it. A beautifully presented Italian icon. Excellence in presentation. However (full disclosure I work at a neighboring cafe) the coffee is - like the reviews herein suggest - pretty ah um.
Michelle D'Ottavio
Wow what a difference!! I have recently returned to Brunetti Camberwell after several disappointing experiences in the past. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff were actually friendly for once and they even brought the coffee to my table instead of yelling out a number. Love love love these improvements Brunetti, you have definately won a customer back. ;)

Terrible. Dropped in for a coffee, mum loved the coffee but the service turned me off the whole experience. and 3.80 for a tiny latte? next time im going to collective across the railway bridge.
Kara Smith
Cold coffee and poor service. Food has been stale on occasion. Not the best coffee in Camberwell and a very poor imitation of the Carlton branch.
Nuttz
An impressive selection particularly the desserts and pastries. I didn't like that you have to pick up your drinks at a separate counter but the food does taste great.
Gin
Oh dear. When I ask for a HOT coffee that's exactly what I want. I've tried Brunettis several times and repeatedly have to return my coffee for remaking. They have a strange service method too - order and pay at counter; get your seat (outside if you like); collect your coffee at counter. Only prob is: if your sitting outside you don't know when your coffee is ready unless you hover at the door. Strange!!
