Review Subway - Camberwell

Wáng Liú
This Subway restautant was very busy when I came in today, however the staff apologised for the wait and were very nice. Although it took a little while given the line, it was worth the wait as my sandwich was not expensive and tasty. I payed $6.50 for my pizza sub, well worth it. Recommended to people looking for a tasty lunch in Camberwell.

The blonde girl working the other day showed that kind and generous people still exist in this world - I had ordered my sub and left my wallet at home and she paid for it herself out of her own pocket so that I could eat. Give this girl a raise because she deserves it!!

Menu price approx 25% percent higher than other stores I have seen. Staff tried to charge me more when I was about to pay and said the price on the menu was wrong. The final price was 50% higher than I normally pay at a different store so I sought different options instead. There are plenty of better options in Camberwell for similar price.

I never leave reveiws on places, but I was super impressed by my ubereats order from this subway. the food was prepared nicely, and there was a nice note written on the bag it came in. I have ordered from there quite a few times but never been in, but from what ive seen the service is good.

If you like waiting half an hour for your food, eating a sloppy, uncut, poorly constructed sub that is drowning in sauce then I would recommend visiting Camberwell Subway. Terrible service and terrible food

This place has got a lot positive vibes. The staff is friendly. Serves sandwiches with the best and the freshest ingredients. Nice view of camberwell junction.

Although it was the stores closing time, the owner kept it open for us when we called which was impressive.
The footlong was fresh, and very tasty.
The cookie was chewy in the middle though a bit sweet for my preference.

I would call this Subway a gourmet Subway. My son loves subs only from Subway Camberwell restaurant. Staff is very friendly here too. A small shop but very clean, you can tell. Been a loyal customer for many years. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Ordered a 6 inch chicken sub for lunch. I chose my favorite ingredients, serve was quick only issue is the look of it once I unwrapped it at my desk! Not the best presentation but we all know the subway taste.

Poor Franchisee. It's hard to watch a local business on a downhill slide, but Subway in Camberwell certainly is that. In the last year or so it has gone from slow service, to understaffing, to poorly heated food and finally being closed at lunchtime on a weekend - with a staff member inside, texting away.
I've added this listing in the hope that the franchisee will lift his/her game and repair the damage done this past 18 months. And if that can't be done, then this review will hopefully serve to discourage others from visiting.

As part of Bupa's best blog competition for 2015 RNIS bought a Groupon for the Camberwell one but they were invited by City of Melbourne to try the one at the airport. I have had Subway heaps of times and I always get the veggie delight in a six inch. Sometimes I'll have the breakfast one with the egg. But is it all good for you? We discuss the topic whilst sampling some subs. The service at Subway can be varied; sometimes good, sometimes bad. Same as with the premises. Whilst the airport one was clean, the Camberwell one was a tad dirty. The Camberwell one is a stone's throw away from the station. Ok, I did happen to love the flatbread one as that didn't have a lot of fat in there and I loved the fact that you can now add spinach to it for no extra cost. This was at Melbourne Airport where the restaurant was really clean. But the time that I was at Camberwell store it was busy full of workers. I didn't expect it to be that busy seeing as it has 40% of likes on Urbanspoon. But this veggie patty in Italian bread was crumbly. The Italian bread was alight. It was a little bit dry from staying in the oven so long. But was alright. At least this wasn't as messy. There wasn't as much vegetables as the one at the airport. The fillings My roll is cracked If wanted to stay healthy then I'd go for the flatbread as it has 200 cal. And I would go without the sauce.
