Review Thai Curry Restaurant - Camberwell

Ordered take away food which arrived warm. Ordered for yellow curry, green chicken curry, roti and fried rice tom yum. All curries were tasty but were way too sweet for our taste. Rice were also sweet. I guess better instructions are required for a better tasting food.

The most awful Thai food I have had...ever. We did take away through menu log. The container was half full. There was no flavour in the stir fry and the veggie ingredients didn't match the description. It was as if they threw whatever they had left at the end of day into the box. Very disappointing.

Comfortable and elegant decor. Chicken green curry was very nice. Red Beef curry was a bit bland.

Wow. The spring roll vermicelli salad is crispy and delicious. Highly recommended.

Best Thai curry at here. Reasonable price and big portion.

Fast delivery service. Nice taste food. Will come back.

Red Thai Curry best taste

This place used to be our local for takeaways and was delicious as long as we ordered on the weekend - we were told we couldn't order Panang curry on a Tuesday because the chef couldn't cook it, the other meals were not up to their usual standard either. The last time we ordered was a Friday and we had to return the meals because they were such rubbish. The lady gave us a refund and told us they now had a new chef. We won't be going back which is a shame because we're walking distance.

I've never eaten in and anytime I've been there to pick up some take away it looks as though no one eats in?? The food is fine, in happy to eat their pad Thai.

If you hit up Richmond, Springvale or the CBD you will find better curries for much less. Just taste really watery and not much punch to it. Not that cheap.

Tooooo disappointed! Food is not good as before. Fish mince is instead of fish fillet in the main course! But the price is up 60%! Unbelievable! Never be back again!

Great place I always order home delivery they deliver on time if any delays always notify me . Food is very nice I love the taste ....

Great little place. I live on summer hill so this place is pretty close I usually phone in to pick up the vegetable satay or panang curry, massaman, or yellow curry and coconut rice they are all delicious and temperature hot. very happy.

So disappointed. This used to be a great place, until there was a change of management.<br/>I used their new 'take away order app' and placed my order, and selected a time for the order to be picked up.<br/>I arrived at Thai curry 5 mins later than specified, and obviously assumed the order to be ready. I was told it hadn't even been made yet, I questioned why they didn't call me to tell me this (I gave my contact number) but the hostess gave no response.<br/>So I was told to wait for my order.<br/>I waited THIRTY MINUTES, without an offer for a drink or anything while I waited. They in fact ignored me while I sat there.<br/>During those thirty minutes other customers arrived in to the restaurant. Nobody was there to greet them or seat them at a table. The ladies in the kitchen were heard arguing while two groups of customers waited awkwardly for 5-10 minutes until someone acknowledged their presence.<br/>They even rang a bell at the desk to get someone's attention- this still generated no response.<br/>When my take away order was finally given to me, I was not offered anything to make up for the fact that I had waited so long. When I questioned this the lady told me "well I could give you an entree but you would have to wait longer"!<br/>What a joke.<br/>When I grabbed my order and tried to leave in a hurry, she claimed I had not paid.<br/>I had to go through my phone, find proof of payment receipt from the App, and prove my case. I wished I hadn't have paid for it in the first place!<br/>Honestly the worst customer service I have ever received, for Thai food that is simply average. <br/>If you can't manage orders through the app, then don't offer it. <br/>If you can't serve customers as they come in to the restaurant, then don't run a restaurant.

Biggest disappointment. Food was delivered and we received beef instead of the chicken we ordered and all the sauce had leaked into the plastic bag. Cold food and very small portions. Avoid.

I have eaten in and had takeaway & both experiences were good - food ready on time &tasty. My only complaint is that their "hot" ( chilli illustration on menu) is not hot at all. Perhaps they cater to western tastes, but if you had a cold (as I did tonight) & want a chilli hit, you might need to add your own. Still, I like the place & will return.

This cosy Thai place is a favourite of mine, the food always tastes fresh and is always full of fresh chicken and a lot of beautiful veggies, inside its small but cosy and clean. The pad Thai is very good and the peanut satay is super tastey the servings are big and it's really well priced :)

Great local. We have been to this local restaurant quite a few times over the years and it always provides lovely, tasty food. The staff are friendly and the whole experience is a positive one. This is in stark contrast to higher profile places down the road, such as Firechief, which are just so over-rated and disappointing.

When I first walked in I wasn't too sure, the place was almost empty and there was a slight ammonia smell, however I'm glad I did as the curries are beautiful! The green curry is the perfect level of heat whilst keeping its delicious flavor, I'd come back again!

This is one of around six restaurants in camberwell and I believe is one of the best. I give five stars and will return again.

Poor had better!!!!. This is my local and I visited within the last mth and decided to eat in & can only say i was really discusted! Staff are overall freindly (our waitress later claimed she didnot speak much english) when we were asked if everything ok? We ordered a Chicken Pad thai and some soft drinks as a entree and we ordered some special dishes from the menu on the wall. The waitress took our order with smiles however we were sitting for a rather long time without any more food/explanation. No attempt had been made during our order to say they didnot u/stand. We were shocked when we saw the chief leave for the eve. There was only two other parties (both had 2 in there party) so we had the restaurant to ourselves so no excuse for being busy either! We at this point paid our bill and tried to explain we had ordered more food and it didnot come however waitress claimed she didnot speak english. So what is the point of asking "Was everthing ok with your meal?" seems a little meaningless. We felt embarrised and yet it was not our fault really! And could not pass on the feedback! I will not return not even for a take-away as my partner visited the toilets and told me I would be shocked by the ladies! I really had enough by then and decided to wait till I got home!!!! Dissapointing and shocking experience that this kind of place is still open! obviously survives on take-away orders!!!

The great restaurant. Last years, I came to this restaurant with my friend and ordered many foods but it was terrible. I thought ,i dont come back again. Then,in last week,my friends invited me to go this restaurant again that the taste is very delicious , quality of food is so good and not expensive.I love it.

Great home delivery option. I have only had home delivery from here and every time it has been good. The quality of the food is good and tasty and the price is also very reasonable.<br/><br/>Definitely was of my local favourites.

Boy are they dodgy!. When I asked to have my Massaman curry put in a takeaway container, the lady asked if I wanted the rice put in as well. I hadn't eaten most of my rice, so I was wondering why she didn't take it away with the curry to be packaged.<br/><br/>When the total came to almost $3 more than I expected, I realized why. <br/><br/>Caveat emptor: yes it may only be a few dollars, but sneakily charging people for rice in a takeaway container when the rice served with the meal could have been packaged at no extra cost is dodgy as hell.<br/><br/>I'll never come here again, which is sad considering I liked the food. Oh well.

I must say that I have never eaten in, or even been to this restaurant, only have I ordered to be delivered. We have our favourites (no. 27 with chicken) and some others that we have tried and not loved, but overall we have thoroughly enjoyed the food from here. To top it all off I received a text message after from the owner thanking me for my business. Great service, great food.

Not the best Thai in the area. I have eaten here once. Had hoped for great things, as the location is convenient for me, but was disappointed. Some of the meat in the dishes was overcooked and dried out. Flavours not that great. Haven't been back.

I would rate this resto 8/10! loved the ambience,the service was great but i would ask for a little smile pls.food was great too esp the andaman salad,very nice indeed!

Great Thai food that is simple and full of flavour. Try the Panang curry with beef with a black sticky rice for dessert!
