Review Pepperoni's Restaurant - Camberwell

It’s a famous takeout spot for locals, particularly for the burgers. Everything is freshly made here, this is the softest burger bun I have every had. There are at least 2 juicy and fresh patties in their burgers. I think it’s a combination of the bun, patties and creamy sauce that made it such outstanding! The half-and-half option for pizza is always my go-to! Don’t miss out of the chips as well, highly recommend you to order a curly fries to go with the burger!

A really nice and friendly place. I had the Chicken crispy burger meal, the burger was really good along with good quality fries. For the price everything is served, it is above & beyond par for quality, taste and presentation.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, so delicious. They are the best halal burgers ive ever had and SUPER CHEAP! We drove 30 minutes to try this place and it was so worth the drive 😊🤤

I have watched tiktok video of Rizin's burgers long time ago and today i got a chance to visit their restaurant. I ordered crispy chicken burger in a meal the prices were very fair and reasonable. Staff was friendly environment was really good and the food was FANTASTIC. I have never eaten a delicious meal in Melbourne before. It was totally worthy to have a food here. Rizin's is a super affordable and lowkey spot in Camberwell that makes an easy and delicious takeaway dinner. Their crispy fried chicken burger is sooo juicy and tender on the fluffiest bun. I highly recommend the garlic bread as it's one of the softest and fluffiest garlic breads that I've had. They also have so many delicious deluxe pizza options. We tried the creamy garlic shrimp pizza which is super very loaded with shrimps on a yummy pesto sauce that goes well together. I also loved the smoked salmon pizza which was really tasty especially with the sundried tomato.

Fried Chicken Friday will is now Fried Chicken May with this amazing offer! Their delicious signature fried chicken is served with a house-made milk bun, loaded with pickles and their signature sauce (classic or spicy). I had to try the spicy sauce. It had a lovely hit to it. Overall, this burger was exceptional, and my top pick for our order. I loved every single element. The beef burger was smashing too. If you are yet to try a smashed patty, this is the place to start! Everything was perfect, including the house-made milk buns. The garlic sauce was a nice addition too. We know you knead to know how good the pizza was too! The options available are going to give you a slice day. In fact, the options available cannot be topped! The dough was delicious, and the toppings were of great quality. We really loved the honey on the Rizin’s Special. 🍔 The Chicken Sandwich – Fried Chicken Patty, Pickles and Choice of Classic or Spicy Sauce. 🍔 Rony’s Garlic Burger – Smashed Beef Patties (Double), Grilled Onion, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Rizin’s Garlic Sauce. 🍕 Rizin’s Special Pizza – Tomato, Mozzarella, Hot Salami, Jalapenos, Honey, Parmesan, Garlic and Herbs. 🍕 Hawaiian Pizza – Tomato, Mozzarella, Ham, Pineapple, Parmesan, Garlic and Herbs. We cannot go past mentioning how lovely the team at Rizin’s are too. They are extremely welcoming and friendly. They have plenty of space and a great ambiance with a cute courtyard out back, and an open wood-fire inside. We really enjoyed our visit. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and invite.

I ordered the Spicy Rizin's Burger – absolutely incredible. From the smashed patty – which had a lovely beefy flavour – to the perfectly balanced veggies, cheese and fluffy bun, I couldn't find anything to fault. I also ordered the Beef Molly and Butter Chicken Calzones. They were well made, but needed a bit more flavour punch. I would personally stick with the burgers.

You want a great tasting burger this is the place originally I was like thinking what's all the hype from my co workers about this place. The price is reasonable and I will definitely say it's a tasty burger within Melbourne victoria one of the best .

I’m looking at the other reviews with certain amount of lol because I really enjoyed my dirty little pizza slice. I had worked late and was starving and for $2.20 per slice or 3 for $5.50 you really shouldn’t be complaining. My chicken pizza was hot and tasty and instant which is sometimes all you need. Not a gourmet location but would happily return.

2-2.5/5. Didn't mind the pizza, which I thought was good for a quick, cheap snack. Loses a point for cleanliness - a dead bug on the table was not a good look.

Sometimes it’s just what you feel like - something cheap and easy and greasy...you do tend to feel icky after eating though. Pepperoni pizza is very tasty in a dirty kind of way. SUPER oily. Good chips as well.

Staff member attempted to sell us cold Egg and Bacon Sandwich before another staff member stopped him and Informed him and us it had been sitting there for 2 hours. Our pizza didn’t taste right and the place was in need of a clean. Have to say compared to the standards of the city site, Camberwell might need some changes.

Everything about our experience was wrong. I spent 10 minutes on the phone with a woman who couldn’t understand my simple order of a pizza and a kebab. She couldn’t understand my name, number or address - all of which are very basic. I was then put onto a man and had to repeat the whole process, including about 2 minutes of silence on the phone while he did something (don’t know what). An hour later, the food arrived. Worst pizza I’ve ever had, not to mention it was cold. Avoid this place, it sucks.

Lacks management and communication with customers. The staff love to change prices while speaking in foreign languages. No use in arguing. I recently ordered a small pepperoni pizza from this 'restaurant', and the person serving me said it had eight pieces. It had four. Pizza was okay, made me feel a little sick afterwards, and my friend who ordered a meat lovers pizza had mould covered over his pizza. Never again! They call them self best pizza in Melbourne two years running! However there seems to be little evidence of this, the pizza speaks for it self<br/>

This place is messy. The staff can't talk properly and know nothing about their products. Also, the offers advertised outside are obsolete. Needs a proper service process.

First and Last time I order a pizza with Pepperoni's Camberwell. The order was late and the pizza was terrible. I struggled eating a piece of their Aussie pizza and ended up throwing the rest of the large pizza out. First time I have not been able to eat a pizza as it was that terrible. When I contacted Pepperoni Camberwell in relation to the pizza running late there was no apology. If the pizza was actually eatable I would have overlooked the delivery time matter however it was absolutely horrible. Cardboard base and barely topping. Don't waste your money, instead look for another pizzeria. My regret is I didn't look at the ratings before ordering.

Terrible food!!! I would not let my family eat it so it went in the bin. The Delivery was late (no apology from the driver or the restaurant when I called to find out where the food was) our order was also completely wrong. Please steer clear!

We had the half n half pizza as you can see in the attached photos. <br/><br/>First half: pepperoni (the eponymous pepperoni!). It was so filling and delicious in a way that delivery fast food pizzas rarely are. It's not Melbourne's showy "gastronomic pizza", it's what real pizza should be like. Crust dry and perfect thickness, toppings excellent, pizza is NOT wet (have had this experience with other pizza delivers from other stores) <br/><br/>Second half: BBQ lamb. This is one for the less traditional pizza heads. See above for details on food quality etc, let me just say this quality was sufficiently high. On the pizza was doner kebab lamb, red onion and BBQ sauce. This is a super delicious combo. I am a sucker for any BBQ sauce on a pizza and on the crispy and savoury doner lamb it's delightful. Red onion cuts though it all. <br/><br/>Could recommend a delivery from here any day of your life.

Saw a staff member drinking directly from one of the water bottles set for customers to take to their table. He put it directly back in the clean stack of bottles. Disgusting.<br/><br/>Pizza was also drowning in oil.

Fantastic pizza and they allow half half toppings! Delivery is quite quick and they also deliver alcohol. Great delivery food option. I will be re-ordering when I feel like takeaway.

The only good thing about this place is their long opening hours. Almost inedible pizza, but at 2am sometimes that is what is required. Avoid at all other times.

Just ordered an alcohol induced, midnight cake snack and it definitely satisfies!! Reasonable minimum delivery and delivery fee, and delivered earlier than expected!!

This place is shitty . Not cause of the people who works there but the management. It's cause the employees are not trained at all. <br/>Lacking all the basic idea of making pizzas. The Price is cheap so the taste of the pizzas. <br/>

Ordered here several times. My mistake. Every order ETA was<br/>60 min from when order was placed, but each order as a minimum of 20 minutes<br/>after ETA. Once was 45 min late. Almost two hours to make a pizza and<br/>deliver?!? Many times the order was wrong or they had ran out of an item and substituted<br/>with another item without asking first. On the several times I called them they<br/>gave me the impression they did not care. No apology was ever given. The food<br/>is not bad, but due to the attitude and delivery times... ADVIOD!

Pretty average pizza. The service is fairly good, but there is never any vegetarian pasta options. Someone gave me a free slice once because they thought I wasn't ordering enough though so that brings up the rating a bit.

Terrible delivery, sup-par pizza. We recently moved into the area and decided to try Pepperoni's. The pizza took an incredibly long time to arrive an upon arrival the pizza was all smooshed and destroyed as if the box had been kicked around before delivery. I would not buy from these people again. I would rather dominos than Pepperoni's.

Worst pizza restaurant in the world. We ordered 4 pizzas on a Monday night. They turned up 2 hours later with an unapologetic delivery man. The pizzas were cold, soggy and seemed like they had been microwaved. Even fresh these pizzas would be horrible. Visit this restaurant if you enjoy long waits, rude staff and horrible food.

Mixed reviews. First off I find it hilarious that one place can have a bunch of "this is awful - don't even bother" type reviews (which seem most honest going on the language used & my experience) with ones that sound like they're written by people who are taking the mick or are trying to counter balance the negative reviews. Surely one place can't have such wildly varying product & service? I guess this is the place for it. I used to go past on my way home in the middle of the night after work for a pizza so I could have late night munchies & breakfast. Cool - the pizzas were always pretty good. Housemate decided to get a delivery order tonight. It took well over an hour & when it did turn up it was missing items that were paid for. When I ordered the steak (which was apparently porterhouse but knowing cuts of meat it was the inferior cut of rump) there was an option of how you want it cooked which I thought was good & the only reason I ordered the steak cos medium rare is my choice. My housemate got ribs. Well his were so much un rendered fat & gristle that he just threw then out after trying each one to get something off it that was edible & my "med-rare as you like it, thick cut porterhouse" was actually the much cheaper cut of meat (rump) which was maybe 3mm thick & so over cooked it was like jerky. Apparently 4 bits of wilted lettuce & 1/2 a tomato constitutes salad too. Could never recommend this place to anyone regardless of how late at night it is & how hungry they are & won't be keen to go back for more pizza anymore either if this is the standard of the food coming out of the kitchen there.

Still waiting...... Have ordered from here before and not too bad... But seriously, waiting nearly 2 hours is completely crazy!!! Wish I hadn't have already paid as I would have cancelled!! Very unhappy!

Food?. Pepperoni pizza- doughy, cheese had gone solid over the top and whatever scrap of dignity it had was in the sauce. It was all so cold one side was burnt waited over an hour for pizza. Not even food. I threw it out.

Worst pizza I have ever had! Ordered 3 pizzas and a pasta for delivery. Delivery took almost 2 hours. When pizzas arrived they were all soggy. I order one half half pizza but it didnt arrive half half. I also ordered a pizza minus a few toppings and they couldn't get this right either. Pizza had everything I requested that I didnt want! !! What a waste of money!

Something needs to be done, the only consistent thing about this place is their terrible food. Shut it down.

Just no.. I arrived home from work at 10pm on a Monday night. Having not eaten dinner i decided to order one margarita pizza and garlic bread from pepperoni's because pizza hut was shut. Only after ordering and paying online was i informed that it was going to take approximately 75 minutes for my food to be delivered. Because i was starving i didnt cancel my order despite the ridiculous delivery time, particularly unacceptable for a monday night. When the food finally did arrive and the delivery man had mumbled and frowned the pizza into my hand it was cold, soggy and the garlic bread was so garlicy and soggy that it was inedible. The only redeeming quality was that they put a good amount of chilli upon my request as an extra. I was looking for an easy, after work dinner, but it turns out i would have had less hassle to simply cook myself a meal. Unless you have an enormous amount of patience and don't mind waiting an exorbitant amount of time for sub par quality food then pepperoni's isn't for you.

Very slow delivery. Ribs were dry and unedible. Pizza was average at best. Never ordering again!!

IF NOTHING ELSE IS OPEN JUST STAVRE!!! Ordered a pizza, garlic bread and pasta from here to tonight. Took an hour and a half for our order to arrive cold. Pizza was cold and soggy. One of the worst tasting pizzas I think I have ever had. Garlic bread was cold and tasted stale. Pasta was ok but could of been hotter. Will never order from this place again. Not worth it even if your starving.

Never order from here.. Service is shockingly bad. Ordered a pizza for delivery at 8:45pm. Just one pizza, not a big or complicated order. Phoned at 9:45 to ask where it was as it still had not arrived and was told with no apology that it would be here in 5-10 minutes. At 10:15 when it still hadn't arrived we decided to just cancel the order, but when we called to let them know they told us that we couldn't cancel as it had already left the restaurant and then hung up on us. Next thing we were contacted by their delivery guy who said if the pizza arrived in the next 10 minutes and they gave us 30% off would we still accept the order. We agreed to this, but another 20 minutes later and still no pizza. I can't tell you how the food is because we never got it. Worst service ever. Don't order from here if you weren't planning on being hungry, annoyed and hung up on.

Good food great service. We had a voucher for this restaurant and approached it with some trepidation after reading some of the reviews on this site. This was not our experience however. We had the entrée which was nice and then had a Pizza and Gnocchi. Both the food and service were excellent. The service was fast and friendly and the food was tasty and generous. We will certainly be back soon.

YUK! How can you get pizza so incredibly wrong??!. Don't any of you waste your time unless you might find this dining nightmare entertaining somehow....From the time we walked in we should have known. We bought a voucher on line for a dine in meal with a bottle of wine. Shocking service- no greeting, I had to approach them to order otherwise no one would have come to our table and the staff are CLUELESS. Can not communicate with you, our waitress served us in a very awkward manner. The service sucks and the staff avoid talking to you and look miserable. The bottle of red was undrinkable- we used it to sterilise our dirty cutlery!! My pizza arrived before our entree and I kinda wish it never arrived at all. Soggy, thin, and the ingredients are the cheapest quality ingredients imaginable. The cheese was thick and a strange color, the meat so disgusting I wondered if it was old. Even the tomato paste tasted off. It just didn't taste like pizza- how can that be? How do you get pizza so wrong? Iv made better in a high school food tech class! Needless to say I didn't eat it. I was hoping my friend's pasta would be tastier as we were both hungry. It finally arrived but was not what he ordered so we waited for them to get it right.......and finally after he received his tortellini - nice soft texture but very average flavour- we got our entree garlic pizza. It was ok, edible thankfully. The garlic must have overpowered any bad flavours. I was looking forward to dessert as they were not made by Pepperoni's staff, only to be sadly disappointed by poor quality again. And Im NOT a fussy eater. Also the voucher was for one small dessert to share between two so I had to pay $4 for the second one we ordered. As I was paying I was stunned to see white buckets in the bain marie of what looked like old stale bread, or old crusty cake pieces, or rubbish or...I was wrecking my brain to work out what it looked like....dog food... or...or...I finally realised this was the dehydrated meat pieces they throw on their pizzas!!! YUK! NEVER AGAIN.

The pizzas are normally good, however delivery time is a joke, ordered before 6pm and the pizzas came at 8pm, with no apology etc or contact. Excuse is always that they are busy, that's not good enough, you should be staffing the busy times properly so this doesn't happen. Plus the delivery guy got lost, and our food was almost cold when it finally turned up.

Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. The food was delivered after 2 hours of placing the order and quality was so below par. Unfortunately, it's the only place open late but after the terribly poor service I have just experienced, I think I might leave some heat and eats in the freezer. At least then I know what to expect and it will be ready to eat when it's meant to be. Disappointed.

Terrible service. Ravenous, I order a pizza just after midnight on a Friday night excited about 24 hour weekend delivery. Upon arriving over 2 hours later, I am handed a receipt stated a price higher than the quote given when ordering (I ordered online)... Whatever only a couple of dollars, no big deal. My change is $5 exact. I stand at the door for a good 2 minutes watching the pizza delivery man fumble around for my change in coins while several $5 notes are in clear view. By now I'm absolutely starving. I open the box and of course the pizza is cold.

Yucky!! Took an hour for delivery and once the box had been opened, a burnt smelly uneatable pizza was revealed! Took a couple of bites of one piece and then had to throw it away which sucked because I'd been looking forward to it since the order and had to go to sleep hungry! Not to mention, when I rang up to complain they just kept hanging up on me. Such a filthy disappointment!

Ordered 2 gourmet pizzas for delivery. Tandoori chicken & gourmet vegetarian. Both were covered with a thick layer of cheese, not much tomato paste & minimal toppings. My daughter & I commented that we didn't remember tasting any chicken on the tandoori chicken gourmet pizza. My husband described the pizza as slop. Very disappointed - will not order from here again.

This pizza was utterly delectable, as a man who can't afford a newspaper these cheap prices were music to my ears. Soorash and pertal (the waiters) were well manner although I couldn't understand a word they were saying. With the Indian waiters and punjabi music blaring in the background - its like Indian meets pizza, an experience I will be returning for

Avoid this place.. My delivery took almost 2 hours to arrive, and it was not the food i had ordered (order wedges, get a pizza???). They have steadily gone down hill in service and quality, and have lost a regular customer.

Just awful. The pizzas are average - it's hard to mess up pizza - although the toppings sliding off due to incompetent delivery drivers is common. But that's not why they're awful.<br/>A 90 minute wait, only to be told that "it's because we're busy" is a little more than odd. The customer service is dreadful and when we called to complain, we were told it would be 10 or 15 minutes. I suspect this is code for "Whoops... quick, get that order started".<br/>Capricciosa, on Burwood road, has much better service and speedy delivery. Papa Luke's in Kew has more interesting pizzas, although their service isn't consistent.

How can you screw up a Pizza?. We opted for one of the meal deals with a large pizza, garlic bread and a 1.25L coke and picked it up from the shop.<br/>Sadly the highlight was the coke, as the pizza was floppy with a thin soggy base and the garlic bread tasted like it had been microwaved and was not crisp on any edge.<br/><br/>As pizza is so easy to make i really wonder how our meal could have been bungled so badly.
