Review Haruki Japanese Fusion Restaurant - Camden

Was passing by and noticed this place. Amazing choice and quality sushi and sashimi. Very friendly staff. One other point is that this place is very spacious and clean, which nowadays is among the top of my list in deciding on the venue. Will definitely come back!

Without going into fine detail - was seated for dinner with a booking, the waitress came back to the table after a couple of minutes and in no uncertain terms told us we had an hour for the table because of the following booking. I don't think I've felt less welcome at a restaurant, I probably should have left at this point. It wasnt the message so much as the delivery. The staff need some training and support with their people and communication skills. Food was adequate but nothing to write home about and very slow to come out. One dish wasn't put through on our order. Way too expensive for the portion sizes. Wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.

We are always on the lookout for nice Japanese restaurants and had always seen this spot but hadn't had a chance to visit! Travelled over to Camden and thought we'd try it - it was a lovely experience! Our bento boxes were nice and the place was quite nicely designed. Will definitely be back! It is a much more quiet, out of the way, style Japanese restaurant than the others around Camden/Campbelltown.

First time trying this restaurant and on first entry impressions this place looks of a dirty Restaurant and it's an absolute junkyard with the rubbish and chairs stacked everywhere.. after a 2 minute wait I was greeted by a very bland waitress who seated us promptly Without a Smile or a greeting. Behind me was a small family with two young kids who seem to be waiting for food, our order was taken and food and drinks started coming out and this family ended up walking out and the man told me that he had been waiting for 20 minutes and his order wasn't taken. This made me very uncomfortable.. as I started to eat, I quickly realised it was extremely ordinary Japanese if not the worst I've ever had.... prawn tempura wasn't even prawns or tempura and the sushi would fall apart and it seems like they were only interested in delivery pick ups from delivery drivers uber eats etc and not people in the restaurant. It was very disappointing overall experience and definitely not in a rush to go back...

Nice quiet place for a weekday lunch. Bento boxes are the go too. Service a little slow but very friendly and most importantly the food is good.

Attended restaurant for the first time today mainly after reading the positive reviews. Very impressed by the freshness, quality, presentation and value of the food. The service was prompt and friendly, will definitely be returning.

3rd time there. My friends and I would like to order something different as we'd tried bento boxes which are really good. The sashimi is fresh. The Karrage is yummy. We've tried the lotus root tempura which is tasty with floral aroma. Have spent a pleasant night!

New to area and have been here many times, has set a standard even above very fine Japanese restaurants. Pork Miso and the Grilled Salmon are very tasty. Will be costly if you like to eat huge amounts.
