How often do you go to a restaurant and the owner asks you to move to another table for desert because your dinner table is to dirty for his standards.
I have never been to a restaurant with service this great, and food so tasty but yet presented so perfect.
This is a must go to, and the staff with a special mention to the owner are so kind and well mannered.

Based on other reviews, I was expecting excellent service and was not disappointed when I went! Chef personally came out to see us and took our orders himself, offered recommendations, checked back with us when the food was served. Speaking of, food was excellent. Flavorful and portions were solid as well. Yeah, a bit pricey but I'd happily pay for it again, especially with the amazing service provided!
I have been here a few times now and recommend it. This place offers more traditional Turkish cuisine. If you are after Kebabs then go to Katik. This place gives you the opportunity to experience traditional Ottoman meals. Try it out for yourself.
I can comfortably say its the best Turkish cuisine in Melbourne!! Chef and staff are very welcoming. If there were any more stars these guys deserve it.

The restaurant is not in a very obvious location. Only people who know about the place will choose to go. Went here during Ramadan for their set iftiar Menu. The place is quite big and Right from the soup to the dessert and tea everything was delicious. We had lamb with vegetables, broken wheat and chicken. The portion was good and I loved the chocolate baklava. $80 for two for a full meal. The lady who served us was pleasant and helpful.
You would never expect a good restaurant on that side of town, but the best things happen when you least expect them. The restaurant is well decorated inside and creates a relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was attentive to our needs and informative.We ordered a Mutancana and an Iskender and were amazed by the flavours. These 2 dishes were simply fantastic and the portions very generous. So much so that we didn't have room for dessert unfortunately.I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean food. It is a real hidden gem!
One of a kind - a gastronomic experience worth doing again. My boyfriend and I went here last night on a whim. And what a fantastic experience it turned out to be! The hostess was very gracious and explained Turkish cuisine as the food came along. Fresh and delicious -- it was a truly culinary experience!! Would come here again and bring along family :)

Best presented Turkish food. Although i'm of Turkish backgrund, im not biased here. The food is actually quite creative and really good. Dad (ex Resataurnant manger) was impressed with the Mercimek (Lentil) Soup and the Seafood Guvec (claypot). I was happy with my Ali Nazik (tender sauteed lamb on smoky eggplant) and the dips were of high quality and looked amazing. The venue itself is cozy with a huge dome and some antique memorabilia.
The biggest let down is the speed of the service. We waited 45 -50 minutes to get our entrees (soups and dips) which is really unacceptable. And there were only 4 tables in the restaurant! Waitress was kind and helpful, but with only 1 person on, everything took forever.
If you have time (lots of time), this place is great. Great flavours, and no Doner kebab. Deserts were awesome too!! Try the figs :)
Read the reviews before I decided to go. It certainly was worth it. Never new this place existed. Staff were helpful with the menu, very friendly and polite, and they knew their food. Even made recommendations. Food was above average, great plate presentation, great flavour in food. I definitely recommend trying this place. It's worth it!!

One Off. This place is hard to describe. It is one of those places that has to be experienced. The chef and owner is a really nice, friendly guy with a deep passion for what he does.

On our visit to breaking fast in ramadan, we were weiry of the prices per person on the set menu, once the service started seven hill istanbul exceed our expectation in the quality of food and presentation. The flavours and aromas felt individually crafted to perfection and was visually delightful!

Not just an ordinary Turkish restaurant. They focus on the details. Just relax and listen to their advice. Everything is freshly prepared. Favorites are Mahmudiye, Hunkarbegendi and mixed grill platter. Don't forget to eat Kunefe as sweet with Turkish tea.
Turkish cuisine at it best. Where traditional and modern flavours meet. The dishes we had where very satisfying. Credit to the chef on his unique creation of presentation of his dishes. The service is fantastic will definitely be back. A must try.
Ali and his team never cease to amaze us with their best culinary skills. The food at this restaurant is amazing. The clay pots are fantastic and so are the desserts. The style of food is superb and the quality is excellent. Overall, great ambience and food that we keep going back. Super impressive Ali well done.
Had a very lovely experience here tonight for Mothers Day. Food was fantastic, very authentic and staff were excellent in accommodating for dietary needs, all the family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Very friendly and family atmosphere, will be back to try the full menu!

An elegant, cosy and delicious experience!. It's been our second time to Seven Hills and we enjoyed it thoroughly, just like our first!
There is a special welcoming atmosphere to this place that is created by its owners, the chef and his wife. The decor is very special - it has a Mediterranean flavour that reminds you of beautiful places thousands of miles away!
Not only is the menu rich, but the chef also comes to chat with you and customise the order to your liking and dietary needs!
We particularly enjoyed the ox liver dish, clay pot dishes, the kunafa dessert dish, the dip assortment and the vegetarian substitute for the spiced raw meat Lebanese dish (a vegetarian version of kebbi neyyi).
Presentation of food is superb! In this place, you get a strong sense that the owners take pride in everything that they offer their customers, the food, the decor, the service and even the toilets (clean and presentable)! I can comfortably say that cleanliness, quality and presentation are three distinct characteristics of this place.
I look forward to going there again many times in the future!
Really impressive. Despite it's industrial location, this restaurant really delivers. Starting with the personal chat with the chef right down to the hearty delicious meals this place impresses. The meals are not your average done-to-death options, instead they're refreshingly different and well presented without being too fancy. The kids are well catered for too. We'll be back.
Very impressive! Every one of the dishes we tried was delicious. The waiting staff friendly and very helpful. Well worth the visit ( we drove for an hour from the SE suburbs) we came on the strength of the reviews here. Come and enjoy a wonderful taste of Turkish cuisine and family.

I urge you to go!. I can honestly say without exaggeration that this was the best dining experience I've ever had in my life. Everything was so wonderful; the atmosphere, staff, service and of course the food. The food was so delicious that we didn't want to stop eating but our stomachs weren't cooperating. Everything was so fresh and of very high quality. The dips, bread, clay pots, charcoal platter..just everything was fantastic! The Künefe dessert was probably the best thing I've ever eaten, I can't really think of anything that compares to it. The waitress was very informative and helpful with the menu, she gave us some 'taste testers' of the traditional Turkish drinks so we had an idea of what we could order. We had the Ayran milk drink which was so refreshing and served in beautiful large metal cups. The tutti frutti flavoured lemonade was also very nice. The head chef came and had a chat with us after the meal and his passion for authentic Turkish food was evident. The Turkish tea served in traditional glass cups with our dessert was very relaxing and just topped off the whole meal. The waitress even explained the traditional method of brewing the tea. The service can't be faulted. The entire experience was so wonderful. Sadly the restaurant wasn't very busy and it seems it's because most people want just a Westernised kebab from a Turkish restaurant, rather than authentic traditional food. It would be a huge tragedy if this place had to close so I urge everyone to try it and spread the word. I realise its location is a bit random and out of the way but it is well worth the trip. We will definitely be returning.

Quality family restaurant!. A friend suggested I try Seven Hills Istanbul restaurant after he had tried the food there on a work function. We went for dinner and were absolutely spoilt! It is clearly a family business and one cannot fault their service. They were helpful, genuine and very friendly! We were unable to decide on what to order so the chef came out and had a chat to us for 10-15 minutes about various items on the menu, the different influences in Turkish food and made recommendations, catering to our desires for 'authentic' cuisine. When I mentioned I was visiting Turkey later in the year they even bought around some books for me to browse through and ask questions about!
And then there was the food... We ordered a combination platter with various charcoaled meats, dips and breads (amazing!) as well as the 'Hunkar Begendi' - a dish with soft, smoked eggplant and topped with a delicious, rich lamb goulash. I cannot even describe how delicious this dish was, writing a review now doesn't help with the cravings! To drink we also tried Ayran, a yoghurt drink similar to Indian lassi - very refreshing. After dinner we were given some Turkish tea to try as well as a sweet, interestingly made from carrots! By this time my stomach had definitely reached its limit. Overall the flavour combinations were impeccable, we left with very full bellies!
Such great service and a very warm atmosphere. When I come to Melbourne I will most definitely be visiting again, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

A lovely haven amongst the industrial hub of Campbellfield, Seven Hills sets a new standard in quality Turkish cuisine. This is the place to visit for authentic dishes, a welcoming family atmosphere and Turkish tea brewed to perfection. The Swordfish is a must try dish while the Künefe dessert is the best in town.
Admittedly, I was skeptical about going to this place because it's industrial location - how wrong I was... Love everything there; interior, atmosphere, food, drinks, and service! Highly recommended

Just had lunch there, it was so nice, the Claypots, the dips, & the service was fantastic. Chef comes out to have a chat with you & the waitress breaks down all the menu, if you don't understand it.

This place is a little gem hidden in the industrial area on Hume highway in Campbellfield. The food is authentic and Delicious! Presentation is lmmaculate. I absolutely love the ambience of the place and the acoustic turkish classical music that they play. Highly recommend for those wanting a high quality, authentic Turkish dining experience. Favorite menu items so far are: the seven maze plate, the pides, mahmudiye (creamy chicken with nuts + fruit mix).
This was the first time I've been to this Restaurant and it has been the Best Restaurant/Cafe by far! Amazing, fresh quality food, made from the heart, with lots of love put into it. They don't do restaurants like this anymore, very excellent service, amazing food and the manager even took sometime out to introduce himself ( a very kind & passionate man, who understands what real food is) and made us feel like it was he's home, I felt like I just came back from Turkey. Not just kebabs!. A great restaurant that I would recommend to anyone. While there are quite a few good Turkish take away shops in Melbourne, this restaurant has the best authentic Turkish food that I have eaten outside of Turkey.

Hidden away past the seemingly industrial Cambelfield lies this Turkish gem. The welcoming service was some of the best I've experienced. The food was so tasty! We had th me dips platter with soft warm bread to start and it sent you on a trail of flavours. The lamb in the mains was so tender and flavoursome. Figs for dessert and they were delicious! Pretty quiet on a Tuesday night but I hear this place gets busy! Definitely my new favourite place.

Not a kebab shop. Do all American restaurants menu revolve around hamburgers? Do all Australian eateries feature Vegemite? This restaurant does not mention a Doner Kebab on its menu, what it has is a wonderful, full flavored Turkish cuisine. Simply the best !!!!. This is the second time that I have been to this little gem, and all I want to say is how unanimously delighted we were with our choice. Warning! This is not a cheap Turkish kebab restaurant, it's a fine dinning at its best for a traditional Turkish cuisine. The settings inside was mesmerising and the dishes even better for anyone that appreciates an authentic traditional Turkish cuisine. Do yourself a favour and try out this place next time you fancy a fine dinning and you will be spoilt for choices of wholesome healthy foods. Finally like to say a big thank you to the owners for taking the time to come to our tables for a pleasant chat. We definitely come back for more and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
Two thumbs up, really nice place, well decorated, food was excellent, but I would recommend everyone to try some of the different options on the menu rarer than just the plain old shish or mixed grill. I had the clay pot which was just devine. Been twice and will definitely be back

Wooow! I can finally say there is an actual Turkish restaurant in Melb who know how to make an authentic turkish cuisine. Me and my partner have been dining here for the last 5 months and we simply can't get enough of it. From the mains to desserts (definately try the fig dessert), incredibly delicious. Price wise we find it reasonable its nothing extraordinary with other restaurants

What a wonderful experience. I booked for a group of 6 yesterday and we had the most amazing experience. The food was superb, fresh and with wonderful flavour from Entree to Dessert. The service was outstanding. They are the warmest, and most obliging of hosts, truly caring about the whole meal experience. The chef is truly talented. I recommend this restaurant without reserve.

Finally something outside of the square.. Finally someone has thought outside of the square and brought the quality in food and service to our footstep. The different flavours in the food and friendly service is excellent. Dining out locally no longer is limited to restaurant's that serve the same dishes and are limited to varieties of kebabs.

We had an excellent experience at Seven Hills. The atmosphere is fantastic and we were greeted by friendly staff, including the chef. With their help we chose two delicious meals at a decent price and were treated at the end with a complimentary dessert.
