Review The Taste Italian Grill - Campbelltown

We came here for lunch with the family. It's a very nice restaurant and the food were delicious! We really enjoyed their food! It was a little bit busy when we were there but the service were still impeccable! Perfect place to head out to dinner for a family gathering or birthdays.

The Taste has excellent food and wine. I also love the model ship of Sovereign of the Seas in their front window. Only a 4/5 though as the service and the lighting was a little cold. While prompt with service, the waitress wasn’t very friendly, maybe I just caught them on a bad day. The room has some nice booths and functional tables but the hard white LED lighting sucked any chance of atmosphere out of the restaurant. Replacing them with some warm white lights or incandescent globes would bring much needed charm to the place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The staff are very polite and friendly, family vibes all around. Would recommend to anyone looking for good Italian food out west.

The seafood platers were tasty. Well priced for the amount and quality of food. However they took 50min to serve the food. Service wise, we had to constantly ask for cutlery. For a table of 10, we had to ask for glasses, then for forks & knifes, then for dishes.

I usually order this specific pizza from here as I personally find it one of if not the best pizza I've had. I'm not sure if you guys changed chefs or the recipe however I'm extremely disappointed by this change and i sincerely hope it was mistake. Fyi, the pizza I'm referring to is a Peri Peri pizza. This latest pizza I was given tasted like something you could get from dominos... Here are photos for comparison. it's like night and day, you don't have to taste it to figure out which one is poorly made...

Walk in for 3. Thoroughly enjoyed the calamari entrees and prawn gamberi main. Food was perfect in terms of portion and quality. Our two other friends also enjoyed their gnocchi and steak meals. Service was good. Price was great. No complaints.

Really loved this place! I went to this place for the first time a few months ago and I had the prawn fettuccine! T was amazing. The staff are also super kind!

Yummy Italian! Came in for dinner on a Thursday night. Calamari was delicious (just needed to be drained a little to remove excess oil). Beef ribs are ridiculously huge, we ordered the half rib and that was equivalent to having 3-4 steaks! Was tasty though but couldn’t finish it, and the seafood linguine was to die for. Very nice staff and decently priced food so will return next time we are in campbelltown for sure!

I dine here weekly, to eat-in this restaurant is brilliant. The food is consistently of a high standard every time. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the chef's are willing to create made-to-order dishes.
I would however not recommend the home delivery as this often takes way too long.
Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Campbelltown.

We tried "The Taste" for the first time tonight and we were more than pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the staff bent over backwards to ensure that we were treated so well. The restaurant was packed but the service was expedient and the staff joked and smiled all night. A great place to go.

My friend lives around here so he suggested this place for dinner as they do good pizzas which he orders every week. But as we're dining in, we sat in one of the booths to eat some skewers (which can only be eaten when dining in) and to catch up.

My husband ordered their garlic bread but they didn't bring that out until the main came which looked great but had too many burnt pieces. My husband had their chicken skewers and I had their one of everything which has one chicken and one lamb skewers. Lamb was not so burnt and slightly better than burnt, dry chicken.

Staff were friendly and we decided to get some gelato for dessert but as my husband and I have had some great gelato, this place was a let down with flavours weak in taste or not just right.

Maybe if we were to ever return, we should just stick with their pizzas.

Just dropped in for the first time. Garlic pizza, steak and prawn were beautifully cooked. If you live close by and like Italian give it a try.

I came here the other night for a quick dessert, the kitchen closed early so we couldn't buy food. I ordered the tim ram dessert that is approx. $15, (could be a couple dollars lower or higher) and my sister ordered the snickers dessert. First off the presentation clearly has effort into it which is nice, a large deep plate, with messy chocolate around it and crushed tim rams. However for $15 I got two scoops of melted tim tam ice cream, swimming in a sea of (I presume) cheap, store bought cream, that was so liquid like I thought there was 2cm deep milk in my plate.. I dealt with it, however my sisters was so melted she could pour it like a soup. I gave it back, apparently the plates were not in the freezer, waitress returned with just the ice cream on a seperate plate. Also the milkshakes that were given to us were straight up milk, there was no chance there was a vanilla flavour in there. All in all, a complete disappointment, the 2/5 is for the caramelised grilled banana that my boyfriend said was edible and all plates were somewhat well presented, although I received more cream than ice cream. Avoid it, it's not worth it.

Since it changed from mondos this place is the bomb seriously quality food.

I wish i had my pic of bruschetta pizza and my partners carbonara vith are spectacular

But my speghetti gamberi is hands down the best ive had.

It was light not oily but deliciously fresh. I will be going back in the next fortnight so will take more pics.

Do yourself a favour and get down to the taste the gelato is no 1.
