Still a great place to eat with awesome sandwiches and breakfast here. Service was slow but its in the middle of the pandemic so who cares A large diverse menu with seafood and whole lobster mornay 40 bux! Wedges with sour cream were divine 😋

Ive had hit and miss times here but this time was great. Lovely waitress on Friday morning very freindly and sincere. We had bacon eggs on turkish and i had the bacon egg roll. Both were well done and the service was quick. I will come back again and give them another go. Interior is a bit lighter which is an improvement. Update 2/2019 Had tandoori wrap add avocado equals delicious!!!

For what it is, it is great! I'm obviously not going to compare George's to a silver service restaurant because this is not what it is - it is a cafe' brasserie. The decor is a little run down, but it seems to add to its welcoming charm. It is a nice comfortable and cosy place to have a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and listen very carefully to specific details - we tested this out on purpose and they got all our requests spot on! We had dessert and hot drinks, both of which were quite delicious. Apple crumble had very nice and soft pastry and was just the right sweetness. This place has a lot of seating without it feeling like you're in a big empty hall. Also has wheel chair access.

Great atmosphere, awesome service and delicious food. We will definitely be going again soon.

I missed the lunch specials by 5 minutes prices dramatically go up... I ordered chicken parmigiana as a benchmark I was not impressed, not for the $20 something price tag. Furniture needs a revamp and clean im not impressed by Nona's 1960s decor. TV at the front of the place was really dusty it gives a bad impression on cleanliness. I give it 2 stars due to good customer service from the staff. Read reviews - As they are hit and miss

The chef is absolutely rude, we asked for a medium rare veal meal. When we got our meal, after waited for about 20 mins, our medium rare veal was well done, when we told the waitress, she told the chef and he argued the point that it was medium rare, sorry but my husband is a chef and he would know what a medium piece of meat is supposed to look like!! Absolutely rude!! He offered to make us another meal but we decided against it. But the waitresses service was fantastic. Sorry but wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointing, as we've eaten there before and it was great. One unhappy customer

Whilst my partner had an amazing meal, and the original service was remarkable - the quality of the meal I received was definetely below par. My partner ordered a Healthy Breakfast, exchanging the non-vegan options for hash browns and the staff happily obliged, and impressed us in the process. I ordered the Aussie breakfast with poached eggs. The eggs I received were overcooked and rubbery, almost to the point of being hardboiled. The bacon was overcooked, and the toast was dry and had several patches without any butter (obviously rushed). The sausage and grilled tomato were fantastic and delicious, though the meal was ruined by the poor quality of the majority. When we addressed this issue with the staff we were offered a discount of $3.50. For a $16.50 meal, of which I ate a grilled tomato and single sausage, this was unsatisfactory. Staff then proceeded to offer an additional $1.00 discount, which we were left with little option but to accept. When we asked about why there was only such a small discount, we were told that it is because I ate the majority of the meal. The meal consisted of 2 poached eggs 1 sausage 2 slices grilled tomato 3 slices of bacon 2 slices of toast Of this, I consumed the tomato and sausage. We chose to eat at George's due to the positive reviews regarding service - and by all means, the service was GREAT - until we raised an issue with the food. Whilst the staff were apologetic, there was no sincerity behind the apology, and definetely no drive to impress the customer. I understand that customer complaints are not fun to deal with, and that it's definetely not a highlight of the job. It is for this reason that if I ever have an issue with food, I look at it from both sides of the fence, and am always courteous and friendly - just so that I am not 'that customer'. I have never asked for a discount on food until this day - oftentimes just letting staff know that there are areas to improve - in most cases staff offer a refund without us even asking, in which case I decline and leave a tip - because that shows that the feedback has been taken on-board, and that they care about the customer. But this was handled terribly. We will not be returning to George's, and will ensure that family and friends do not either.

Just the best.I have eaten at Georges several times recently, and the service and food are excellent. Highly recommend.

Love this place. Staff are all happy and friendly, owner is also very nice and takes time to talk to the customer. Food is great quality and value. We always have seafood platter. Chefs also have so much pride and it shows.

Have had lunch at George's a couple of times a few years ago and very much enjoyed. But was looking for somewhere to to have dinner last sat night...the food was beautiful, as was the service. Very reasonably priced too. Have eaten in most c'town restaurants over the last 25 years and George's has gone straight to the top as our favourite. Would highly recommend!

Wow i had Salmon and veg was delish, best mash in ages, the meal was lovely . The service was bit average, waitresses came with a note pad wrote things down and then came back to ask if wanted things we ordered and then we didnt even get them...no split bills but she did anyway. Great milkshake....

I enjoyed my meal and My partner did as well but the service from the staff member (short blonde hair in 20's, sorry didn't catch her name) that served us makes up the 5star rating. She was patient and polite but most of all, she made an effort to ensure my 4 kids were entertained with pens and colouring books. It's a handful to dine with 4 kids so to have a waitress who makes and effort and is patient with kids wins me over

Fish was tasteless and slimy, chips were over cooked and chicken schnitzel was dry and tasteless, better food at RSL and doesn't cost as much

I love eating here, the menu has change so much the past few months and I must say that it has truly become something far more then just a Cafe. Lovely food and staff.

First visit today, had a great meal of seafood and the coffee was awesome as well! Can’t wait to go back!!

Had mothers day breakfast there. Unfortunately they were understaffed for the bookings they had.We waited 11/2 hrs before getting served but the meals were great The staff were run off there feet and done a great job i hope the boss looked after you guys you deserve it.

Dinner time at this lovely restaurant. We started with bruschetta and salad which was delicious. Michael had steak Dina which he enjoyed I had the chicken which was delicious thanks guys for a lovely dinner

Nice quaint ambience with good food. Had the scotch fillet and it was sublime combine that with awesome service, this little gem on Queen Street you definitely don't want to miss.

This little place has the best retro vibe! The service is outstanding and the food is always brilliantly delicious. This is such a treasure in down town Campbelltown.

Had such a great experience at George's on Queen last night after my brother and I searched far and wide for a suitable venue to treat our auntie for our reunion. Thanks goes out to the chefs who cooked to perfection the most amazing lobster and veil without holding back on the proportions (thumbs up). The waiters were a charm to speak with and even went above and beyond to regulate the room temperature to accommodate for my aunties cold without us even asking. My first delightful surprise however was the set up and design of the place with its modern blue lit interior and Christmas decorations. Thanks guys for the great experience :)

Went here tonight I had linguine gamberi which was delicious but prawns were slightly overcooked but still a very good dish with a nice kick of chilli.<br/><br/>My partner had veal boscaola which was overcooked, dry and she said tasted a bit off. I wasnt sure as I didnt want to try that bit lol. <br/><br/>In saying thst she enjoyed the fresh veggies and sauce. I think she expected medallions of veal and not a steak size. My knowledge of veal is rusty but im sure its better pink.inside.<br/><br/>Service was excellent and its reasonably priced

Took my mum here today, had the treat of mothers morning with family today. I've just returned from a 4 stars cruise . Georges quality, presentation and flavour matches the 4 star level of our cruise. Excellent place thank u.

Went here the first time 2 weeks ago but never will i go back over priced my chicken was dry and the chips i got for my son werent cooked right

Totally agree this place has dived downhill in a big way.<br/><br/>Bad service wrong food served and poor food served.<br/><br/>Three times the egg whites were runny i got a tiny bit of avacado in a side bowl cause they forgot it on my blat.<br/><br/>Flavourless where is the seasoning guys???<br/><br/>Need a new chef and staff asap.

Not impressed! <br/>Overpriced, below average food. The breakfast was adequate, but still overpriced for eggs and bacon on toast. <br/>The lunch specials are a good idea, however the steak I had was flavourless; and the chicken schnitzel as well.
