Review Sushi Bay - Campbelltown

Moey
This place, needs a whole lot of work and management, firstly the prices are absolutely way to high, even for the portions you get, its honestly ridiculous. Next is the customer service, which is actual rubbish too. There's only 1 worker who know how serve and communicate about the menu. Although the sushi tastes nice and has good quality products.

This used to be my regular sushi place years ago until a couple more started opening up in the area. I decided to give this place a crack again out of nostalgia and so much has changed... especially the price. I know this sort of thing is inevitable but my partner and I spent nearly $80 on around 10 plates and a drink. For a fast-casual sushi joint, that's honestly ridiculous. I must admit, the food is delicious and fresh but there are other sushi places in the area just as good for a fraction of the price. $80 will also go a long way in higher end restaurants.

I haven't been here in ages and tonight I was reminded I'm missing out. It was a very short wait at the door as I attended during Thurs night rush hour. Im talking not even 2 mins. The food Is fresh, delicious and cheap. Even though the restaurant was full our orders came quick. The train was fully loaded even though so many people. Well displayed and a whole variety of choices. The had no problem assisting me by letting my daughter ask for her order and the bill. She's 9. It made for quite a mummy daughter date.

Food portion is tiny, overpriced. Service is extremely bad. Not recommended!

Always amazing, my favourite restaurant I am never disappointed. It’s very clean and the staff are very nice, and the food is amazing. You must eat here!

I have been going to sushi bay on and off for a few years now and they are always welcoming and the food is good. I do suggest ordering the chilli chicken or chilli salmon, they are not on the menu and they are very spicy but very tasty.

Always great. Food is fresh, pricing is good & they will make things to order Wife & I love going there. Took our 2 teenagers there to try it for the first time & they both love it Much better than the one at market fair. Never had a bad experience.

I am pretty much a regular here at sushi bay and I can say for sure that sushi bay maintains a constant high customer service and quality food every time I visit. The food is always made right infront if you, literally, the employees are always so nice and helpful and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

This is the best sushi place in the area. Staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Price's can be a bit pricey but the food is amazing. But when they get busy it can take a bit of a wait to get seats.

Been going here for 7 years, the plates have gone up in price BUT the food is amazing, staff are always welcoming, recommended out of any of the sushi places in Campbelltown

This is a tough one to rate! If you compared this place to other sushi places in Campbelltown, and even against all other Campbelltown-area restaurants, it'd be a 4.5, easy. It's solidly good, fresh sushi, and the staff are very kind. The best you can pick when you want sushi and you're in the area, in my opinion. Compared to other places further into the city, though, it's probably more like a 3.5.

Nice range of sushi available, though it's quite expensive and each dish adds up. There's seating on the train and at tables. The staff weren't very attentive.

Staff are always welcoming and food is pretty good. Sometimes theres a bit of a wait for a seat, and at times the diversity on the train is lacking. Place is always clean, its our go to for a sush session.

I tend to find Sushi Bay expensive compared to other sushi outlets. Plates are priced from $3.50 through to $9 and the cheaper plates are mostly just fried food like spring rolls. I tend to use the tuna and avocado rolls as a benchmark and at $5 a plate, they're charged at a premium for no discernible reason other than they can. Overall, I found it to be a fairly average experience.

Service was great. The variety of sushi on the sushi train was lacking however you can order from the menu and they will make it for you. In fact I recommend ordering sushi from the menu so it's made fresh. The price is average, similar to most sushi train restaurants. My favourites were the crab claw and the takoyaki.

One of my favourite sushi places. The place is super clean and the sushi is always fresh. You can't go wrong here if you're looking for good sushi, helpful staff members and affordable prices.

Very fresh sushi here at reasonable prices for a shopping complex. Sometimes there is a line but not a long wait.

I love the salmon and the prawn nigiri its my favorite here aling with the simple miso soup to start.

I dont do the fried food though.

Last week i had scallop in shell absolutely delicious and worth the bux.

It can be expensive at sushi if you dont add up as you go along! But the coloured plates make this easy.

The Sushi bay Sushi train offers a very novel experience if you haven't tried it before. The Sushi train offers a very wide variety of authentic sushi dishes, taste and prices, from simple to complicated dishes. I took my wife to lunch here on our anniversary as a little surprise and it sure offered a new experience for her. Plates range from $3-9 ea.

Always enjoy myself when visiting this place. One of the better sushi train places in the area. Food is always fresh and chefs are happy to fulfil special requests. Can get quite busy at dinner time so you may have to wait for a table. Staff are always friendly and service is quick. Prices are reasonable.

This sushi bay outlet is easily one of the best out there. Having eaten at Liverpool, Penrith and parramatta, their rice always seems to be dry and rarely fresh - at Macarthur I've never had a bad meal. The sushi is always fresh and the chef's are more than happy to make whatever you want on the spot regardless of whether it's start of day or end of day. There is a reason there is always a massive line out the door, it's worth the wait!

This is one of the biggest sushi trains I've ever been to. The sushi was fresh and tasty and there was a good selection.

The place was really busy at lunch time however there wasn't a queue. The atmosphere is buzzing however this place could probably use a bit of a facelift. It looks a bit dated.

A great sushi place with great service. Gets really busy for dinner most nights and lunchtime service is much the same. But the sushi is always fresh and delicious. A little westernised and bbq sauce seems to be the flavour of the week unfortunately, but as far as westernised sushi train style sushi goes, its pretty good.
Connie
I generally love eating here, the service is lovely and the food is good.. however they have really started to spoil their sushi.. sitting there for way to long, the cornflakes need to stop being used..and cream cheese in the sushi? Really?i! Stop using BBQ sauce and making it so westernised! I eat Japanese to experience JAPANESE food, not to eat subway in a rice and seaweed roll.
Sam
Cute little place with cute little food. Its satisfying.

Satisfactory sushi restaurant.

The cooks are more friendly than the wait staff. The wait staff seem too busy to notice the customers.

Dishes are ordinary, slightly overpriced.
Usually will need to spend $60-$80 per person to be satisfied. Which is rather high for what you’re getting.

Nice and clean restaurant.

We like it !. My kids always enjoy coming here for a lunchtime Sushi session, lots of variety and looks good.

You can always tell a good sushi restaurant from the smell once you walk in and this is not one of them. The sushi is about 3 out of 10 and the quality of the fish is very poor. Not very tasty but very bland. Don't bother
