Review Jamaica Blue - Campbelltown

Popular due to location and one of the few options for coffee and food for hospital workers. Coffee and food is ok. Mostly friendly staff. I had a bad experience with their coffee before. Their macadamia milk was off. I threw the coffee out and rang the shop to inform them but got a surprising response, “it’s not out of date”. I haven’t been back since.

Thursday morning around 11am my friend and I got brunch, I got the Avo Smash and my friend a sausage roll and a black coffee. The coffee was not filled to the top, she had to ask for more hot water and her sausage roll came out dry and burnt. I advise the chef behind the counter and we were brought out another sausage roll. My Smashed Avo had hardly any avocado on it and was almost cold when it came out. It was my first time and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. The customer service wasn’t great either and we both felt like our request were a hassle for the staff. As a Jamaica Blue franchise I would expect a lot better quality.

Restaurant is clean, staff are tidy, friendly and professional. Good menu variety although priced on the higher side. Food and coffee is quite good though which makes the prices somewhat worth it.

I was a little disappointed today with the customer service if I am to be completely honest. The usual lovely friendly lady wasn't working today and I was greeted at the counter with a younger lady who was nice but came across as a little short. I forgot to use my Jamaica blue loyalty card, and I am always reminded by the usual lovely lady (sorry not too sure of your name but you are very lovely) when I go and get my coffee. I went back and the lady behind the counter was a little short and said, "I've already put it through". I guess I would of preferred better customer service as I felt she was short with me. In this day and age it is so important to be kind. Otherwise a nice coffee.

Yummy food and coffee. Great place to have lunch with loved ones that are in-patients at the hospital.
