Review The Coffee Club - Campbelltown

Not busy so I would expect the place to be cleaner, tables got cleared and wiped down but the rubbish on the ground was left. The birds did clear the chips and other food items off the ground whilst I was sitting here. Coffee is ok, warm enough. Tall cappuccino, 3 shots $5.50. Wasn't tempted by any of the food. Seating is ok, choice of inside or outside. I chose a corner to watch the world go by whilst I waited for friends.

Had ordered breakfast to cheer me and my partner up. Food was absolutely incredible. Thank you guys so much for caring about your orders. We will definitely be ordering again and hopefully soon being able to be at the actual restaurant 💕💕

Came here for a brunch and had high expectations as the coffee club is known for their beautiful breakfasts. We decided to try something new instead of having our usual breakfast however in the end we decided to just stick to our usual from the coffee club next time we visit and eat. The food wasn’t horrible. We ordered a Thai noodle salad however there was very little dressing to it and was a more simple dish. We also order a bruschetta and it was very different. It was a pesto paste with a side of rocket and a few cherry tomatoes with grilled halloumi and an egg. We weren’t expecting this but I will say that it was different for sure. The main dish was a scrambled egg on toast with an extra hash brown. The hash brown was amazing and cooked perfectly and served very hot and fresh. It was the best thing out of our whole meal. I didn’t try the coffee from McArthur however I do want to give this place another go as I always enjoy eating from the coffee club.

I could have gotten a better breakfast at subway with their bacon, egg and cheese that’s cooked in a microwave than at this coffee club. To begin, we ordered through the QR code which was easy enough. However, the staff brought out the wrong coffee and also left an item off one of the plates ordered. Aren’t these codes meant to reduce errors and make it easier? I guess not. The drinks were okay, however not finished by either party. Now the main event, two cold plates with over done eggs that resembled hockey pucks, bacon that was rancid and inedible and bread that most certainly was not fresh. We have also been feeling sick most of the day. For your own health and enjoyment of food, please don’t come here. Subway is across the square and unlike this place, you get what you pay for.

If you dine in after 3:30-4PM...... Would have been 5stars, as this is one of my favorite Cafe's, great coffee & VERY tasty food! However this last visit was a bit disappointing, as whilst we had just sit down, the school girl servers started sweeping dust & debris off the floor around our table whilst we were dining in. I instantly asked what time they were closing, to which they replied 5pm. We literally sat down @ 4:05pm. That means they where sweeping floor almost an hour in advance of closing time. If it was closing time in like 10-20mins you would totally understand. The Asian female manager was absolutely lovely, and offered a free take-away coffee, however failed to stop the school girl sweeping (photo in gallery). I informed the manager of the school girls attitudes (putting it politely), & she actually agreed! However they keep them on for cheap labour! Still one of my favorite Cafe's, but beware of school kid servers! If you have a problem though, management will be only to happy to assist you.

I ordered Haloumi and Chickpea Veggie Burger with Mushroom even though the meal was ready and I waited around 40 minutes for an Über driver to pick up the meal was still hot and juicy, little bit pricey but definitely will try it again the best veggie burger I’ve ever tasted!

Came here for breakfast instead of our usual trusted place. Never again. The food was average, the kids pancakes were pathetic, my 6 year old didn't even eat them! The lady who took our order was extremely rude, scoffing at my son because when he spoke at the same time as my husband she couldn't hear over him talking.

The server 'Brendon' was epic and gave great customer service. Btw, Brendon if your reading this I wanna say thanks for making my day with yr upbeat and positive attitude 👍

I love their skim cappuccino and orange and poppy seed cake. The staff are friendly and service is quick and always excellent. It's a relaxing place to have coffee after shopping.

My boyfriend and I had breakfast/lunch it was so delicious � we totally recommend our family and friends to try their food ����

I’ve been going to Emporium since the beginning and I have never stopped enjoying my latte. They are quick to have my latte when I’m in a hurry or if I have all the time in world(on that day). No matter how busy they are they are always friendly and greeting you like I haven’t seen them for a long time. Thank you for the smiles and good coffee.

The best coffee at Mac Square plus the food is good & never had bad service. Our regular whenever we are there. �

Had a toddler, mum and sister in crutches with a dislocated knee and knee brace, therefore had to sit on the bench on an end as you can imagine squeezing into the middle was practically not going to work. As a customer vacated we went to sit down when a man stopped us saying he quickly needed to measure the bench. After over 2 mins of remeasuring we politely asked if was going to be much longer given my sister and toddler waiting. He impatiently informed us another 2 mins. After pointing out this was incredibly inconvenient he angrily stated out that my sister could sit in the middle seat and became very rude but not before calling us 'stupid women', instructing the waiter to 'deal with us' before storming off. the waiter asked what happened and said he would speak to him but he was quickly measuring. another customer at this point who watched it all, interjected pointing not only had we been more than reasonable but polite and it was the man who needed to check his manners. As its around 5:45pm on a Thursday didn't want to go elsewhere. But we were offered no discount on our order or genuine apology but we did get a filthy from the man walking past. In future we will sadly think twice about spending time or money here.

Poor service..waited 15 mins for a croissant and no apology from the staff. Was told it would only be a few minutes. Will not go back

Today I ordered handcrafted soda” Yuzu citrus flavor.” But they gave me “Green cordial soda with squeeze lemon!!!!!!“ It didn’t have any Yuzu flavor at all. This color was very GREEN. I checked their face book page after left the shop. But It’s totally DIFFERENT!!!!!!!! And they charge it $5.5. I don’t believe why they made fake Soda!? It wasn’t mistake that I got some ones drink or they made other drink menu. They made totally FAKE drink!!!!!!!!I am very mad and bad feeling.

I haven’t been back here due to delays with food order. <br/><br/>I thought I’d give it another try, to just order a coffee. <br/><br/>So I went an ordered a latte with coconut milk, the lady who took my order seemed stunned and said they only do coconut milk in cold drinks whilst walking toward the fridge to look.<br/><br/>She had come back to say “we don’t do coconut milk”, which I was surprised as it was the first coffee club I’ve been to without, and it was on their menu. So I told her, it’s on your menu, then she responded “then I guess we don’t have any” <br/><br/>This place could improve in customer service ..

Ordered the cheesy scrambled eggs and the eggs were rubbery and hard, a far cry from the fluffy eggs I was craving for. Although staff were friendly.

I wouldnt say this is the best coffee club, been here 3 times, food not so satisfying. But they do make good coffee i guess. But wouldn't crave for it

Ordered through Uber at Macarthur Square<br/><br/>1 Cheeseburger<br/><br/>No chips but with salad<br/><br/>I Cheeseburger<br/><br/>1 Banana smoothie<br/><br/>Yet they sent us 2 cheeseburgers with both salad even though after phoning to explain we only ordered 1 with those instructions the Manager on the phone was extremely rude siging during my call and offered no apology or refund. <br/><br/>We where asked if we wanted to come in and pick up chips yet we didn't make the mistake yet we had to pay for it.<br/><br/>We ubered cos we didn't have the means to pick up hence why we ubered.<br/><br/>We will not buy from here anymore due to this one very rude and unprofessional manager

I go here when all the other coffee places in Mac Square are closed because they're open later and I neeeeed my coffee. But the coffee is not nearly as nice as, say, Jamaica Blue (my personal fave). And twice when I've ordered something decadent like cheesecake it's been rubbery and didn't seem fresh. I ordered a salad once and that was disappointing as well. So far just meh experiences with the food, but the staff is always really nice, so I'll keep going back for that and coffee after 5!

I love my chai latte it was thick and tasty. The cake wasn’t as delicious as it looks, it was quite too sweet for me. Overall it was an alright experience.

Ridiculous. My boyfriend got his food before mine. He ordered pancakes and I ordered the salmon and avocado stack.<br/><br/>He waited about 5 minutes. I waited 25 minutes. The reason being was because they forgot to make mine. I watched them STAND there on their PHONES for 15 minutes before I asked the waitress why mine was taking so long.<br/><br/>It wasn’t long before someone realised there was a mix up. The cooks didn’t know what to do even though the waitresses (yes, plural.) told them 3 times to make the ticket. People who came in after me had their big breakfasts made in about 10 mins while I sat there hungry as ever.<br/><br/>This is disgusting level of service. Not by the lovely waitresses/waiters, but by the imcompetent cooks.<br/><br/>Aside from that, the waiting staff were lovely. But, I will not be here again.<br/><br/><br/><br/>

Waiting for friday foods in kellicar lane I grabbed takeaway skinny cap. Standard. Very hot upon receiving (furry tongue as proof). Did impact future flavours.

Coffee is average, the breakfast is almost always dry and gross, the bacon usually comes out looking like it was cooked days ago, you know when it goes almost see through and chewy. I've only been here twice and will avoid now as much as I can.

Not my first choice of places to eat in the area but they do a decent breakfast and that's about it. The coffee club is good for, coffee. However the breakfast both my friend and I ordered was disappointing. Serving sizes are small and the food is overpriced. I can definitely think of other cafes in MacArthur square that I would rather spend my money.

Horrible. Unfriendly service with attitude, my pancakes were dry and with artificial flavoured sauce. I was told the smoothies were made with real fruit, but when my banana smoothie came it was clearly made with syrup as it tasted fake and was bright yellow. My friends burger had eggshell in it and she had grass, yes GRASS in her salad. Would not reccomend.

Not a happy customer. I was very disappointed with the food. Last Friday night I went for coffee with my friend . I ordered along with coffee a quinoa ,chicken and Spanish salad. Instead I got chicken salad with feta cheese. I told the waitress I ordered quinoa salad she yes you did let me change it. She took my salad and brought the sample salad back with couscous scattered carelessly over it.<br/>The coffee tasted burnt the cheese cake my friend ordered tasted good but was rubbery.<br/>This was my second time there and both time the food wasn't what I expected to be.<br/>I would much rather go WTF where the service and food is great.
