Love this place, they have amazing thai food for a great price! One of the best i've had in campsie, it's so nice and comfortable in there too
Me Tang is definitely one of those restaurants that you wouldn't mind making your regular haunt. The Thai cuisine served here is full of flavour and is accompanied by warm service, which in my opinion, adds to this being an ongoing eatery.
Favourite Thai spot. Perfectly priced. Favourite is the green curry not with rice but with Thai roti!! It is amazing. Two mains and three rotis for no more than $40.
Taste ok, small portion, service average.
I've eaten chicken pad thai here which was decent, very flavoursome which is a big plus in my books.
There is something crazy amazing with their fried rice. I highly recommend it, it has a homemade feel to it.
What I do remember loving was their deep fried ice cream which I trekked in the cold for tonight.
The staff were so nice here when I forgot to mention I didn't like chocolate sauce on the ice cream and they offered to make another ice cream, no problem. This level of service is rarely seen these days in Sydney. Really thankful for that and definitely will return here.
Batter is so crispy, panko-like. Ice cream is the ordinary vanilla but I'd prefer this combination than the pastry-wrapped ice cream on cold days. Freaking yummay. Highly recommend it!
We have been visiting Me Tang frequently over the past year. It seems to have the best thai food in Sydney. The Pad Thai and curries are perfect. Their prices are quite reasonable as well and their lunch prices are very good if you're on a budget. The family who runs this place keeps it neat and tidy (most Campsie restaurants are filthy).
I've ordered takeaway from Me Tang a number of times and finally dined in most recently, having positive experiences each time.
What I think introduced me to Me Tang was one of the online delivery websites. Offering a special I chose this place and haven't bothered with anywhere else since. What interests me are a few of the more non conventional dishes such as their duck noodle special. They still have the regular selection of staple dishes too to cover all bases.
It may sound strange, but eating in didn't really taste any better than getting home delivery. There are different conclusions one can draw from this, but I'm mostly content that their delivery service is good. If you do eat in though you'll be greeted by friendly service and a neat/clean restaurant fit out. Don't expect anything too fancy of course, but you largely get what you pay for and more.
Me Tang will continue as my preferred delivery and occasional dine in choice if I'm looking for a slightly different take on the Sydney Thai scene.
I thought I reviewed this place already, when I went for lunch one time I didn't think too much of it but my partner and I came for dinner and the food tasted better, been here another 2 times since
The place though is small and parking there can be hard to find but prices are decent which make this a place to come too
They moved from Five Dock to Campsie about a year or so ago. The food is amazing and cheap. I like the pad thai and pad kee Mao. I order from here regularly.
Our go-to Thai. We've been eating here at least monthly since we've been in the area (about 3 years) and it is our go-to Thai delivery restaurant.
We generally order the Me Tang Noodles, Kee-Mao (chilli basil noodles) with duck, Me Tang Bags and Curry Puffs.
The food is always delicious, fresh and hot. The delivery is always within their expected time frame.
Service is really good and love the food! One of the nicest Thai places in the area..very good pricing too! If you're in the area you must try it!
The other night we ordered a delivery and enjoyed our food. The second night the delivery man came with soft drinks that the restaurant by an honest mistake forgot to give us. What a loyal & honest people. We've been eating from Me-Tang for over a year now and the food is delicious. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant.
I love eating here. The food is good. The service and delivery times are excellent!
My favourite dish is the Kee Mao Duck... the duck is succulent and the rice noodles are flavoursome. The owners are a friendly, accommodating bunch.
These guys are awesome. I order twice a week and they now quote my address. Pink Roofing @ 43 burns street, Campsie.
For the record N3 kee moa and ms15 kra prow subb are my favourites.
Lovely lady who answers the phone, says 40 mins. You will receive your dinner earlier.
Well done guys, can't wait to eat in when my Darling Hanalyn arrives next week
